Shiv Sewlal: My scalp eczema is quite inflamed right now, so I don't think it's a good idea to dye my hair. And when I try googling if I can/ can't dye my hair - it's quite contradicting. What do you guys do? Honestly, I think I'd rather not risk it. But could you share your experiences with dyeing your hair with eczema?

Bear Bear: I have scalp eczema and I was doing as much as I could to keep it from flaring up and it had been ok for a while so I bleached my hair I had to go to ER with second degree burns on my head so i think you made a good choice

mariella: maybe if u do wanna dye ur hair just get a balayage so it dosen’t actually touch ur scalp and doesn’t aggravate it, but i wouldn’t recommend it. I think u should get a slight trim, some layers and some curtain bangs that frame your face

lydia wilton: why not lightly perm your hair, not huge curls but just wavy. it will make your hair seem shorter and when the perms uncurl in a few months it will seem like your hair grew so fast. i did it and if u hate the perm you can just straighten it- if that’s safe for you ofcz

yvonne anders: I would ask u to seek medical advice before coloring. I once tinted my hair with red kool aid away from the scalp. Great highlights. If u can’t drink kool aid I wouldn’t use it. When I want a serious hair change, I wear a wig.

Eliška Blahovcová: Idk, if it is okay. But you could try ombre on your hair. It's dying your hair from the ends to some part. With you eczema I would go for the 1 cm from your ends.
