Vintage Bob Hairstyle Tutorial | Intimate Collection | Goldwell Education Plus

Check out this editorial vintage bob hairstyle from "Intimate," the stunning new collection from Goldwell Global Ambassador Angelo Seminara. To help give the page boy bob a retro appearance, the hair was straightened with a slight inwards curl at the ends. The dimensional texture was achieved by curling small pieces on the surface of hair around the face, before brushing out the curls and spraying with dry shampoo.

Hi this is angelo seminara goldwater global ambassador. Today, i'm going to show you a look just a styling technique, but i love the idea of creating from a normal haircut, something a little bit more like vintage, slightly retro, a combination between botticelli and michelle pfeiffer in scarface movie. So this is lisa. We have cut the hair into like a little page boy right, but it's slightly longer to the back, so we used these two products, and so it's diamond loss and crystal turn. Okay, so crystal turn. First, through the area you can see, the hair is slightly bit more wet, looking but they're not really wet, because it's dry, and then this will give me that little extra gloss into the hair. I don't want to start with the adjustation clean, shampoo dry and then start styling the hair, because he will look too perfect. I wanted to have like an editorial feel, okay, so what we do is very, very simple: let's start from the fringe area, where you bend the hair almost like if the hair was into rollers okay, so this gives a really nice finish on the edge of the Haircut, who is important that we do is to do and maintain the same kind of movement towards the end through out all the perimeter of the hair and also to maintain the root area quite flat. We take the diagonal section on the sides you go in from the root area and you start beveling the hair in like that. Take the small amounts that you need, which should not be bigger than this part of your straightness. Okay. So now that we have this, you can see the hair is really looking beautiful. They have this really nice vintage look. So what we're going to do now we're going to apply a little bit of ultra volume. This is like a dried shampoo. It'S going to help me to give a little bit more body in the hair. You can see already you're starting to get this really nice volume we're going to comb all the hair down now and put it into a shape that we like, because we have the volume we got the shape the hair is turned the way we want it to Turn you can see the back, it's very, very elegant, very, very chic, so we're gon na take a small curly lining like this one, and we just keep this open like a v-shape and we're gon na take small small sections, just almost like little baby hair like That, okay and you just without lifting it too much you just curl them around all we're doing - is we're just curling the surface of this look i want to spray a little bit of more dried. Shampoo. Just start brushing these bits. You can use the comb if you prefer, you don't have to use the brush. I absolutely love this dried shampoo because it really performs it's really incredible. What the result gives you to the hair. You can create wonderful textures, a little bit of hairspray. I hope you like it. You
