Easy Jumbo Box Braids Rubberband Method| Bob Style

Hi guys, my name is Canadian eh, and today I thought I would show you what I got. These cute Bob saw Shamu box braids. I already have a box right to sort of my page, but they use a couple different materials that I think are very helpful for us natural girls out there. I am NOT a hair stylist. I do not know how to do here to save my life. So, if I can do these cute box phrase, dress it up and make it real real cute, then you can too also I post a lot of fashion and hair videos on my page. Let me interested in that go ahead and subscribe. It'S on your post notifications. So you notify every time I drop a new video and then let's go ahead and get into this tutorial. So for this box raise you'll need about five or six pack of cankle on here, I'm using a cute brand or shake and go whatever it's called next you'll need some elastic bands, and these are really good if you have natural hair because they don't pull your Hair out ponytail holders, I also got a couple of different gel ideas: the ego styling gel and the edge wax worked best. For me, the jam was just a little too watery and too moisturizing for my hair you'll also need some combs. I have a wide tooth comb to detangle and then two different red silk homes for a party and then I'll have some scissors. I ended up using the paint ones they just work better with cutting the hair and then last but not least, some hair accessories. I picked up these little hair. Beads will not beans, but I don't know they are just gold, hair accessories, those have the diamond studs in them and then the other ones are just regular. So this is how my hair looks. I didn't really wash it. I did a twist out yesterday or the day before I did this, so my hair is slightly moisturized, which is okay and then I'm gon na be parting, my hair into four different sections to make it easier and then I'll be working with the front first, as You can see I'm using the bigger rat tail comb to kind of get my part started and then I'll go in with the smaller rat tail comb. That'S more point here, so I can get my part more straight. Next, I'm gon na be coming out my hair to make sure there are no knots and it's all tingle free and then I'm gon na go ahead and start parting and beginning the first two braids. So now that I have my part I'll be splitting it into two different squares and I'm trying to keep the squares about an inch apart. So here just showing you all how it looks and I'm taking my mary's edge, wax and I'll be putting that on the roof of my hair, just to kind of slip, my roots down. So it doesn't look messy and it looks pretty neat and then the last step before I go ahead and start my braid is to use my elastic bands to put my hair up into a little ponytail. Now these elections are so good, like no matter how tight. I made my hair. They did not pull them on here at all. It feels so comfortable. Even afterwards, when I finished my hair like I couldn't come, I could like shake my hair as hard as I wanted, like it wasn't stiff it just felt really good. So I definitely recommend these to advance to anybody who's. Trying to do this. Rubber band method use the elastic bands for your hair. Now I'm gon na take my cankle on here and I actually be cutting this hair and half. I saw that's why I was able to use only six four, actually five and a half packs. So that's the key me you want like a box I'll just cut to even half and yeah how thick you want. Your braid is completely up to you. I just have to play around with this particular piece of see how it look. I was looking in the mirror, a second some pieces up, adding some hair and then once I'm ready to go just wrap the hair around your ponytail and it's just like regular platting. You taking the left piece, bringing it to the middle. Second, like that's in the middle, like that I'll have more better examples. You just watch for now. Also you'll see me slowly start to take the weed and add it to my real hair so that all three pieces are like the same with after I've been braiding the hair for quite some time and I'm coming to the end. I'Ll use a regular rubber band to secure the braids. So again, I'm taking the left braid, bringing it to the middle, taking the right side up here and bring it to the middle and then you'll also see you can see better here, I'm starting to take little pieces of each side of the hair and bringing it To where my real hair is just so that each piece is all even and then finally, once I'm done with the braid and I've already secured it with the rubberband, I am cutting at my desired length. I wanted to do a little past, my shoulders for my good kind of long ball kind of look after a couple of braids. I realized that adding some ego styling gel to my hair right before I start braiding. My hair works best to keeping my real hair intact and completely blended with the weave. So, as you see, I'm just massaging my hair in the Eco styling gel and just making sure it's not too much on there, but just enough so that it curls and it just kind of just kind of cooperates. Really so again, I'm making sure my hair is nice and moisturize with my eco styling gel, and then I'm gon na go ahead and start braiding. My hair just wrapping the weaves around my ponytail and taking the left side frame, it's in the middle, taking the right side, bringing it's in the middle and also slowly making sure each strand is even okay. I am finally done with my hair and I was trying to dip the ends in hot order. Now what I realized - and this is a very important stuff - you guys - do not use the elastic bands for the ends of the tips, because they will snap and kind of break off when you dip them in hot water. I learned the hard way and I had to read, tie all of my ends with regular rubber bands. Also, I let my hair sit in the hot water for about 15 to 30 seconds, just to make sure it was really set and the purpose of the hot water it just gets rid of the stiffness, the stiffness of the braids, and it also sets the end. So that they don't unravel as much now before I add my little hair accessories, I'm just going back in to flip off any hair. That'S sticking out and make sure that all my braids are nice and even and then now it's time to add my little hair accessories, just kind of put them randomly. I put some at the bottom in the middle, and that is it you guys. That is basically my jumbo box braid tutorial and my little bob style comment down below.
