Curly Crochet Bob | Toyotress Ocean Wave

Hey everyone welcome back to my channel hope, you're doing well. Today, i'm going to be trying something different on my hair um. I'M actually going to be trying to do well to install a crochet sort of hairstyle. I'Ve done somewhat crochet before once um. It was when i did that normani motivation inspired hair. It was only like the back part of my hair was crocheted. The front was like in like elastic bands like crisscrossed and then the back was crochet, but i've never done like a full head of crochet before so. This will be interesting. I'M excited to see what it looks like i'm a little bit nervous. I hope it doesn't. Look like auntie, but we will see how it goes so. The hair that i'm going to be using is from toyotres and it is their um ocean wave hair and it is, i've, got 12 inches and i've got it in the color 1b. But actually it looks like jet black. It is synthetic hair as well um, so yeah like, let's just get straight into it. So at the moment my hair is just cornrowed back. I'Ve left like some like wispy bits at the front, just so that i can sort of like do my edges and just try and help it like blend a little bit um and i've just cornrowed my hair, very, very loosely towards the back and i've added like Each cornrow into the next one until i'm left with this last one um. So what i'm gon na do is just uh stitch, i'm just gon na flip it back on itself and then just stitch it down, so that i've got no dangly bits um. Before i move on okay, so my hair is now stitched in i've got here. Eight packets of the ocean, wave, hair and i'll show you what it looks like this is what it looks like. So it's basically like a body wave texture, but in crochet - and there are the individual loops on here. So this is one packs worth so i'm hoping that eight packs is enough. I don't want it to be like too too full um but yeah. This is what it looks like. They do. Also um give you a crochet hook inside the um package as well, so yeah, i'm just gon na get straight in i'm very, very nervous. You guys, i won't even lie to you. So, oh sorry, i'll just tell you how many is on each one, so there's 15 of these um loops inside each packet. So just in case you wanted to know how many you get there. You go so yeah, i'm just gon na get straight in and crochet. This hair, in now i don't know if i'm supposed to pull yeah. I think i'm gon na just pull the whole thing through. I don't know if i'm supposed to pull both sides through or just one okay. So this is what it's looking like after one packet. This is definitely not a color one b like this is for sure jet black, but i'm not mad at that, because i actually did want jet black, because my hair was jet black um, but on the website it says they only do one b. Well, they do other colors too, but one b was the darkest color that they go um but yeah so far, so good, i'm gon na continue with the other seven packets. If i need to use all seven and then i will come back and show you guys what it looks like afterwards, okay, so this is what i'm looking like after four packs, so this is half of it on already still have four more packs to go. I don't think i'm gon na use all four leftovers, because i've only just got this small section here. So maybe two or three packs will go here, because four packs has pretty much done like two thirds of my head, but we shall see. I think i'm going to go for like a side part, because i did sort of do my cornrows in a way that i've left like a part here, don't judge my cornrows okay, because i purposely made them very, very loose and messy i've actually had them in. For a couple of days, um because i didn't want them to be tight because with crochet, if you've got them tight and then you're like sticking the hooks underneath your cornrows, it's just gon na be a lot. So i left mine really really loose and really fuzzy. So that i can, you know, do some edges or something so yeah. This is what i'm currently looking at. This is what the texture looks like. This is the back, so i'm going to crack on with these four and then i'll show you what it looks like at the end. Okay. So this is what i'm looking like so far. I'Ve actually got seven packs in um and not the full eight packs, but i think that this is enough hair for me. So now what i'm going to do is just lay my edges and i'm going to be using the edge booster. This is the um sweet peach scent and i'm just going to lay my edges and then lastly, i'm just going to like trim off these like excess bits right here, just to give it a little bit of shape but yeah. This is how it is looking. I think this actually looks very cute like um. I don't want to say i'm surprised, because you know you got ta believe in your source, but i actually really like the way that this turned out i'm impressed. I definitely do need to fix some of these because i've just done them quite loosely, but i'm going to go back in and just sort of touch those ones up, but this is how it turned out, and i must say that for synthetic hair, this does not Feel plasticky at all, like it literally feels so soft, and i think it looks great.
