90'D Style Bob Box Braids

Hey sis: it's your girl and i'm back with another one. So in this video i am going to try something different, i'm going to do box, braids, um bob, but a short ball kind of like a pixie box, braid bob with curlies coming out of it. Curly hair coming out of it. I guess you could call it like a bohemian box, braid bob short bob - i don't know but um, that's what i'm going to try kind of taking it back to the 90s old school, but putting a little 2022 flair to it. Um, so i got some hair from the hair store called may d beauty braid um, it looks like this is probably gon na be backwards, but this is the texture of the hair. I just added to the regular braiding hair um. I cannot remember what kind of braiding hair i got, because i got this a while ago from other braids box braids that i did um. So i can't remember exactly what type of braid this is, but it is a 1b and what i did was i just cut it in half, because they're going to be short, so there's no need for them to be the regular size they came in. So i cut them in half and um they're, pretty big. I can say this is probably jumbo box braids all right stay tuned, one of the things that i would advise you not to do that i did mistakenly do was i feathered the ends with this type of style? I think it's best to not feather the ends. So that it would kind of look more like the 90s type of box braids, especially since it's going to be cut into a bob, and i didn't think about it until like i was already many braids in, and so i was like. Well, i'm already feathered on mine as well keep going with it, but um the best way to make them look more uniformed and clean would be to not feather the ends and just burn the ends. So i still ended up burning my ends, but they were feathered. So it didn't look as clean and uniform as i would like them to so i would advise you not to feather the ends. As you see me doing, right now, yo, let's breathe! This style would usually take no more than maybe two to three hours, simply because the braids are short um and you will spend most of your time actually burning the ends and cutting it to you know your bob lent um, but due to me having a three-month-old It was no way possible. I was going to be able to do these braids within a couple of hours. I had to keep stopping to. You know take care of her, but this you, this style, usually takes about no more than two to three hours and that is including cutting and burning, especially when you have a pixie cut, because you're not there's no hair in the back, so you're not braiding. The back um, you cannot actually even go without braiding the sides. I decided to go ahead and braid my sides because they were long enough um, whereas if your sides were shaped totally down, you wouldn't even have to break those. So it's all you're pretty much. Only braiding the top of your hair, and so that's why it shouldn't take as long to get this style done. Baby. You don't know what you do to me between me and you. I feel chemistry i'm using edge control to part my hair, because that's going to give me a cleaner part, so that's what you're seeing me do right now is baby, oh personality. You make me me then get me underway baby e. So here the braids are complete and now it's on to cutting and burning the ends. I used a small flat iron to burn my ends because i just felt like it was much easier rather than using a lighter um. Usually, when i use the lighter i'm burning my fingers, so this was a better option for me. Some of the braids i actually had to use a lighter because the flat iron just didn't do it here. It is the finished product. I think it's kind of cute. It'S not my best work when it comes to braiding hair um, but it will do like. I said i have a three month old, so i really couldn't focus as much as i would usually do on braiding my hair. I had to rush through it a lot. I also feathered the ends which i should not have done, so it's not my best, but it's still cute to me. It'S still doable, i'm showing you right here, different styles that i can wear don't forget to subscribe like share.
