Hey guys welcome back to another video on my channel. It'S your girl, Karrill DaDiva. Today, i'm gon na be doing some halfway box braids in my hair, and so i'm gon na start off by sectioning my hair into three. I'M gon na do two in the front and one in the back to make it easier for me to work with i'm gon na start off with the section in the back, and so i usually add some jam on my hair before i make my first part In this usually help me to get a nicer straighter part now i'm going to hold the rest of the hair away with this clip, i think it's called a crocodile clip, but i'm not really sure the hair i'm using for the style is the freetress hair. Deep twist and it's 22 inches, the color is 1b. I bought five packs to use, but i will tell you at the end of the video how many packs i use to complete the style, so i'm going for a small to medium size. So i'm just gon na go ahead and part my hair accordingly for this first row in the back, i'm gon na be splitting it in three, so the gel i'm using is from btl. I use it all the time i didn't wear my brother's band today, because i wasn't planning on putting too much gel in my hair, as you can see, i'm only using like two strands of hair added with my hair to make a third strand. I did not split the hair and twist it around my finger like i do all the time, and this is something i was trying to explain to some of you guys in the comments that you could start the braid off with just two strands instead of three, Like i do most of the time, so if you are one of those people that left me a comment saying that it's complicated to twist the hair around your fingers or actually understanding what i'm doing in the video, i was trying to explain to you guys that You could start the braids off just with two, so you just have the hair folded like it is and start it off and use your own hair as a third strand, and this also can help you to get a tight grip at the root after i braid The hair in far enough off the root, then i start adding pieces of the synthetic hair into the section that has only my hair after i braid the hair down past my hairline, then i stop braiding and i don't add any kind of glue to it to Hold it together because the hair is curly and i braid it very tight. It usually stays like that without unraveling. If it was a straight hair, i'm using then yes, i would use some glue on it like a crazy glue or the glue that you would use to put your press-on nails on and keep it from unraveling. But since it's curly it usually stays. You know like this for me, i never have to worry about it. Unraveling. I noticed a few of my hair was sticking out through the synthetic hair, but that's nothing. A little foam wrap lotion can fix and i'll do that. In the end, now i'm going to go ahead and do a second one, and hopefully i can show you guys exactly how i start the braid off, and maybe this will be an easier method for you to start your braid off. To start my braid off, as you can see, i have the synthetic hair hanging over my middle and pointed fingers. Now i'm gon na place the synthetic hair over my hair, with my hair, going through the middle and from there i start braiding, there's really nothing to it and the reason why i'm braiding my hair, like this, instead of splitting the hair and doing all that twist, That i usually do is because, when i'm using hair like this, i try not to split it up too much just because these here they tangle easily and start you know ripping apart and all of that stuff just because they get tangled. So i try not to split them up too much so now, as i'm braiding the hair down, i'm borrowing pieces from the bigger size, the piece that has synthetic and adding it into the piece that has only my hair - and this is how i do it. It'S pretty easy, like seriously, there's not much to it. If you cannot do it like this, then i don't know what to tell you, because this method is like the easiest one you will ever do now. Moving on to the third one same thing: just grab the hair with the synthetic hair over my natural hair, and then i just start braiding from there like, there's really nothing to it and just in case you're wondering yes, it's definitely tight at the root. Just the same, the key to keep this from unraveling at the end is to braid the hair tight enough. If it's not tight, it's definitely gon na come out. Also, if you do it too big, it's gon na come out too without anything to hold the hands together. Now i'm up to the fourth row - and i must tell you guys before this video is over - that i didn't count how many braids i have, but i'm still wearing it. So if i do count them by the time i uh take them out, i will leave it in the comment box. How about that? So here i am at the side, hoping i could give you guys a better understanding of what i'm doing from this angle. This is just in case, you didn't get it. You know what i'm saying so since this method is so simple, i want to know from you guys if you would try it or if you try just leave me a comment you know down below whenever you do. Try it and let me know that you did and how that went as you can see. I part my hair, exactly as i would if i was doing my regular box braids, so there's really not much difference with the parting of the hair. So, as you can see, i'm adding some jam brush my hair in and then part my hair, and as for you guys who follow me and watch my braid and videos all the time. You are very much used to this. So this is the last pack of hair from the five packs and guess how many more braids i have left to go. Eight more braids, two rows of four right here and right here and i'm finally done. Oh, my god. It'S such a great feeling and to add to it i absolutely love it already and i still have a little bit more to do to it. So this is the fun part. Actually, yes, i think this is the fun part. I'M gon na take sections of my hair out, like you see me doing there and i'm gon na go ahead and add my foam wrap lotion on it. This is from btl professional. Of course, they come in three different colors, the purple, the white and the pink that i use all the time on my hair. It smells so good. I can't even deny it, and this is gon na make it look more curly. You know make the curls pop more. It won't look so frizzy. It won't look so fluffy. It will just look more defined any flyaway here that i may have any of my hair that didn't tuck properly. This is gon na make them just disappear and lay right where they should be. I'M adding a generous amount of the foam wrap lotion on it, because i want to get it really wet, because this is how the curls are gon na come out. And now i look like a barbie or a black knees, or both without the lace wig. Of course, now i'm gon na go ahead and use my edge control from edge effect to lay my edges and now guys i'm gon na go ahead and do my makeup to complete this look, and i will be back, and here we are guys, look at how Beautiful this hair is the curls are so defined, and i'm so in love with how juicy they look. If you ever try, this style definitely make sure you use that foam wrap on it, because it makes such a big difference. It dries super fast and you would think that my hair is wet right now because of the amount that i added on it. But my hair is bone dry and the curls are still looking so defined and it's not frizzy at all. I know with all this hair you're probably wondering. Is it heavy? My short answer is no. It'S not heavy at all. I had to try a few different style with it, of course, before coming off camera, because this style is versatile, it's not crochet, so i could do so much with it and yes, i would prefer to do this over crochet any day, because i do not like Crochet, for some reason, the products i used today to create this tutorial are from btl, except for the hair, of course, which i found in my local beauty supply store. I will leave a link to the btl website down in my description box, so you guys could easily find their products. I also have a discount code for you guys to get 10 percent off their entire site when you purchase any hair related products. I also did a bun in my hair, of course, and making this bun was super easy that just proved to you that the hair is not heavy. It'S very easy to manage, so definitely guys go ahead and try it out. If you have any questions, comments or concerns, please leave them down below. I will get back to them as soon as i possibly can. If you find this video helpful as usual, please give it a thumbs up. I would really appreciate that. Also, if this is your first time on my channel, i would love it if you would subscribe and hit the notification bell, so you will be notified whenever i post a new video.
