Hey my loves, welcome back to the channel, so today's video i'm basically going to be showing you guys how i was able to achieve my curly feather braids, okay, so um this video started quite late. I didn't want to film this, but i was like you know what the girls would want to know how this was done. So i was like okay, let me just start filming, so i started filming like when they were almost done with the braids but um i'll. Put a name of the extensions as well as the colors that we used, so the style is basically um. You know feathers, so feathers with feathers. You have the front side, i'm sure that the braids and the front are shorter than the ones at the back. So it kind of like overlaps, that's how you get the feathers effect so um they are braiding the hair halfway um based on the lens and then they're going to go ahead and cut after. Don'T worry, i'm going to show everything so um yeah. They were really fast um. These are actually not not less braids. I think i'm over not less. Braids. Be very honest. I don't know if there's anybody with me on this, because i don't know somehow not less braids just gets um very old quickly. It gets rough quickly and the last time it cut my hair so bad. So i was like nah. I won't box braids like pick my hair from the roots with the extension. So that's what i did um for this look and i feel like it's going to last me a very long time. So this is the length right now and um. This is where we're at and after this we are going to go ahead to just you know, trim and then go ahead to cut this to the length that i want. So the back length is basically brilliant and then, after the back, you have like the mid length and then the top length. So the back is brilliant. The mid length is somewhere like resting on your shoulder and then the top is just resting on that one. That rests on your shoulder, so that's how you're able to get the feathers effect? Okay, so i'm just going to try my best to explain what they did because um, usually the inspo that i got this um hair from they did not use hot water to tongue. The hair, so the inspiration was from camsy and in that video i don't think they used hot water to tone their hair, but that was what they did for my video. So i'm going to try to explain what they did so the first one did not come out nice and i was like nah. This is not what i showed you, so they had to return this one. So um i'm going to try to explain what they did right here. So, first of all, they went ahead to um like soak my hair, like super extensions in water, you know like regularly like usually when you're doing um. What'S it called braids they're going to actually put your hair in hot water just so that it relaxes, and all of that, so they did that for like the whole hair. That one is a normal thing to do basic right once they were done with the whole hair. They went ahead to just test again to see. What'S you know how it's going to come out so, first of all, you want to cut to the length that you want and then have your hot water handy right. So once you, what i noticed that she was doing was to just dip the hair in the hot water, and then you know like just wrap it around the curling iron. Usually this curling iron is supposed to be like electric. I really don't know why it's not! Electric because i was just not understanding what was going on, but anyways isha worked with hot water, so um she was turning this upwards and i told her that no, this is not what i saw in the video turn it downwards, but she was like that was What they did the first time you guys remember the first clip that i showed you so she was like. That was what he did the first time and he didn't come out that way. So i was like okay just do this. Let me see how this one comes out, so she turned like she, she turned it or she tongued it upwards and then after tongan she dipped it again in hot water and then just used her towel to like just hold it in there um. So this was basically the process. The next thing that i noticed that she was doing was she was um spraying the hair like the curls rather um. With this spray, i have a video of the of the spray. I have a video of the spray i'm going to show you guys um the brand and the spray, but that was what she was using and when the hair was dried. I noticed that the spray that she added made a huge difference in keeping like it made a difference in keeping the curls together like it wasn't um splitting and it was it felt the curls felt firm, so they weren't loose, they weren't, you know just laying around They were femme, so um yeah the same process again deeply. First in water wrap around the curling iron dip it again in hot water. You know get your towel dry, it up and then use the spray to just seal like the curls in. If that makes sense. So just the spray, i believe the spray is to keep the curls to last longer because um. I think this is like my fourth day as i'm making this video i'm on, like my fourth or fifth day, and my curls are still alive: okay, so yeah! This is, this is the process. This is everything that was done. My hair was trimmed before all of this, of course, and just make sure that you're, leveling or you're cutting at the level that you want it to lap. Okay, you can see how this one laps right now it laps on the other one. So by the time they separate the curls you're going to see um like the final result. So the next thing again is to just you know, use um hot water in your towel to just like press everything down so that everything seems flat. Okay. This is this is normal with braids um but yeah. So that is pretty much all that happened. This is the spray, i don't know what the name is for, i think spritz. So this is what she was using to spray the hand, and this is like their oil sheen that they use at the end of the hair. They didn't add mousse for me, quite unlike them, but anyways. They just sprayed my hair, and that was it. She styled it for me and i wanted a side part actually. So i feel, like the side part, was more stunning um than going for like a middle part, but if i want a middle part, i can always you know, um just switch it up right and see what that look gives me but yeah. This is basically all that happened. I really hope that i explained this in the best way possible for you guys. This is the finished. Look again. I did not plan to do a video for this look, so i'm really sorry that it's not like my regular or, like my normal, you know hair vlogs, but i'm just happy that i was able to like show you guys the little bit of the process as Well, as like the finished look, i love my hair so much. I love the length, not less braids cut my hair so much the last time because it was so long so this time around, i really wanted something short and i did not want not less braids. I didn't want regular braids to be very honest, so this was what i went for and i love it. I love it so much so yeah. I really hope that this video was helpful. If it was please feel free to. Let me know down in the comment section like this video share this video subscribe. If you are new - and i will see you guys in my next one bye guys, you

HOT8CHOCOLAT3: Knotless braids get old quickly because your roots aren’t covered like a box braid. Your own hair starts off the braid. The bigger the knotless braids, the more real hair is out, the quicker they get old.
