Hey babies enjoy Navin and welcome back to my channel today, I'm back with another protective style video here, for you guys, showing you all how I got this 90s inspired Bob box, braids style. I absolutely love it. So if you're interested in seeing how I got it, then just keep watching so first things. First, I went ahead in cornrowed, my hair. I have 14 braids in total in my head. I have six on each side and then I have two in the back. So what you're, seeing in the front of my head is, I just did about four rows of individuals, just because I wanted it to look as realistic as possible and every now and again I just like to add individuals to my crochet styles, especially if it's braids Twist locks because I just find that they don't look like crochet when you do that. So that's just my personal preference. This is absolutely optional. You don't have to do this. You can just do all cornrows it's up to you or you can do all individuals. If you guys would like to see how I do box braids, I will link that video in the description box down below so for this process. I am using this hair that I got from Sam's Beauty. Of course it is by free trust and it is their box braids, crochet hair. This is the medium size and this originally was long box braids. So it's going to be in the long hair pack. I will link the exact hair that I'm using right now in the description box down below, for you guys to directly check out. You can check out plenty of other crochet hair from Sam's Beauty as well as a lot of you guys know. I use their hair. All the time, so this hair did come with 11 individual pieces in each pack. If you get the shorter box braids, I'm pretty sure they're going to come with more hair in each individual pack, but there were 11 braids in each pack. Like I said before, and I'm just doing this, the regular simple old-fashioned way of crocheting, if you've never seen or if you don't know how to just do the traditional style of crochet, I will also link another one of my videos on how you can do that Down below in the description box, so don't leave this video without checking out the description box. You guys as far as starting from the front we're starting from the back. It'S really all up to your preference as well. I like to make sure that the front of my hair is as full as I can get it to be, especially when I'm limited on packs. I did use exactly 8 packs in my head of this hair. I had 4 packs on each side, so the side that you can see - that's already done, that was 4 packs of hair and on the other side, I'm going to use another 4 packs of hair. So that is exactly the amount that I needed. I guess you would say so, if you have, you know around about the same head, size and use the same size, cornrows and all that you'd probably need about 8 packs as well. I personally don't feel like you need to put the box braids too too close together, because you're not really going to be able to tell and that's when your hair looks really really thick and it doesn't really look like natural box braids, and I absolutely love this Hair you guys, let me tell you, it is extremely lightweight. It is extremely realistic. Looking it looks like I just went to the salon and sat in somebody's chair and got my hair braided for some hours, and I absolutely didn't this only took me about two hours to do completely. So the next thing that I'm going to do, which is the fun part, is actually cut the bob itself. So all you want to do. Is you want to section your hair off into different parts, kind of grab some scissors and go in a angled direction? It'S up to you, you can do this with blunt if you want to, but I kind of wanted it to be at an angle a bit so, as you can see, I'm like sizing up how I want it to go, and you guys I was so like Scared to cut this hair because I didn't know what the texture was gon na be like after I cut it like if it was going to be able to burn properly. So, as you can see in the front, I did like a little test, but it burned perfectly on the ends. So I just used you know one of those little lighters to do it. Absolutely if you're uncomfortable with burning your own hair or doing this yourself get someone else to do it like. I always tell you guys like if you're not comfortable, don't do it yourself. I do my hair all the time, so I was very comfortable and I absolutely love how this turned out. I just repeated the same exact process all over my head, and that was it. I rocked this style for the weekend when I was going out of town and I loved it. If you guys are interested in seeing how I styled it and everything follow me on instagram at join Avon, be sure to subscribe to my channel and check out all my videos on my vlogs all my other videos - and I hope you guys enjoyed this.
