Chick he always likes to start recording to start making all these eating noises that food been there for hours. You know who it is: everybody, i'm back once again with another hair tutorial today, i'm showing you how i achieved these boho box braids using hair from the sale hair. All right so here are our braids. These are the boho braids from naseo on amazon, and you can also purchase these at their website. Maseo sent me eight packs of this hair and i used about seven, not quite seven, so really more like six and maybe a couple of braids and as you'll see, my hair turned out really full. So they send you plenty of hair and here's. My braid pattern once again, i'm just doing the illusion individual braids in the front and in the back i'm doing these very messy cornrows. I'M not used to braiding with long nails, but you know it works. That'S the one good thing about crochet! You don't have to have perfect braids and now i'm going to show you really quickly how i crocheted these in so in the front, i start by crocheting one braid per box, so you'll see i'm inserting the hook putting the hair on the hook, closing the latch Pulling it through and then pulling the braid through the loop, so once i'm done with that, i may add a braid in the middle of the parts if necessary. Just if i feel like i need some added coverage and in the back i'm just doing pretty much. The same thing on the cornrows and here's your finished: look all right hold on hold on hold on we're, not done yet rewind it back. So i've had these braids in for a few days now, and i've decided that i want to cut them into a bob. So i'm going to see if i can work this out. First, let me take my earrings off, so i don't want my part to be about here. I want this to be kind of an asymmetrical situation so about like that, but i'm going to start in the very back, like the nape of my neck, to set the length that i want it now with these braids you'll notice that there is a part where The braid is kind of tied off and the curls start, so i'm going to try to cut just under that part, because i don't want the braids to unravel and that's going to be the length of the bob. So here goes nothing notice. I'M cutting this like loose hair right along with it at the same length. So right, where is it's tied off and as you can see, it's not unraveling. It'S just fine and i'm gon na do the rest of these, like that. Put it here now, if you have a braid that seems like the where it's tied off at is a little lower than the rest you're just gon na have to tie it off yourself. I think what i'm gon na do i'm gon na take a piece of the loose hair. Just a little small piece is all you need and figure out where i want to tie. I think i'm going to tie it about here and i'm going to use this loose piece of hair to tie it off, so i'm just wrapping it around and tying it. I think so. You yeah that's about the right enough and i'm going to tie it around one more time, just to lock it in it's kind of hard to do this with these nails, but there it is so now i have secured that part of the braid and i can Cut it to the same length. Is these other braids so about right? There voila all right, so my camera ain't, my sound cut out, but anyway, i'm going to take a braid from the other side just to make sure they're even and measure the rest of these. Based on that. This might not be straight at all in the back, but i'm going to stop and look at it after i do this. This looks kind of long say this is it looks about even how's the back look now, of course, if you want it shorter than this, you can um tie off each braid, so it's shorter. I have time for that and i'm cool with the long bob. So it's going to be a super long bob! That'S what i'm going to do now that we have the back established, i'm going to start doing this section by section, and i want this to be the front. Well, it is the front of my head. I know i want how i want this part to look, so i'm going to cut that first now in theory, at this point, um the back with the back cut a lot of the higher up braids, you won't have to cut as much because the higher up You get we're not doing a layered look, so it's okay, for it all to come. It'S about the same length as these bottom ones, so you shouldn't have to cut too much off the rest and you shouldn't have to worry about cutting the braids too short and then unraveling. So, let's see what we can do here, i don't really need to cut much from this side. I'M just gon na angle it downward, and that should be good and once again, i'm going to take this section by section. So now, i'm doing like the back. A back quadrant of the back of my head, i guess you could say, and i just want to see how it's blending like i said you won't need to cut much so we're cutting about here downward angle forward cut a little more definitely make sure you have A good mirror like in the bathroom or something because i'm trying to do this little mirror under my camera, and it's it's not that easy. Yes, i'm winging this, but you know as long as i look cute in the end. That'S all that matters that's cute. This is really not much shorter. Like i said, the biggest difference is the back like the very back, the nape of your neck. That'S going to be the most that you cut. Everything else is just kind of a trim because of how it's layered. So i have the crown of my head sectioned off and then i'm going to work on the section just under it. The crown will be the last thing i do, which i don't expect to have to cut much of anything. If i have to cut anything from the crown but we'll see, and then i'm gon na cut, it's not that short, i'm gon na cut the rest of this. According to that those bottom braids, oh, my god, this is my real hair. Why is this out? Oh, i was about to lose a chunk of my hair. Okay, i need to crochet this back in and then i don't know how that happened. I'M so scared! Now how did this come out? Okay, i'm going to crochet this back in and come back all right. Christ is averted, so i crocheted the braid back up and out of the way so for this part i'll, let you see i'm probably i'm pulling i'm pulling all those um braids in the back back to the back of my head and using that as a guide. I'M going to cut these braids just above them to the same length. I shouldn't have to worry about tying anything off at this point, because i've already set the length at the bottom and these braids are higher up. So it should be nothing but curls that i'm cutting. I can't do that on camera efficiently, so i'm going to do it off camera in the bathroom and i'll come back and show you guys the finished product all right. So i think this is about where i wanted it again. If you want it shorter, you will have to tie the individual braids off. I have a lot of braids in my hair, so i was not about to do that and i'm actually kind of happy with the longer bob look um a few tips on how to accomplish this. If you have someone to help you with the back, that would be ideal, especially someone you trust, um. Also, if you don't have anyone to help you with the back. One thing i did was i kind of like used like ponytails so like i might put the back sections into two ponytails to kind of keep them in position as to where they naturally hang and then you can just pull it forward. And you see how like there it's kind of a blunt cut there, because you're maintaining like where the braids would normally hang versus. If you pull it forward and cut it, it's going to be different when you throw it back so use the ponytails pull it forward. Cut throw it back now, the back of mine take a look, not at all perfect but, as i said it's just me, i had to do this on my own and because i'm not trying to i don't want to have to keep tying up. Braids um, i'm okay, with where it's at right now. So if you want to do the bob look on these braids here, you go. This is how i achieved it.
