Bob Box Braids | Medium To Long Natural Hair

Me again, hey guys, welcome back to my channel, so in this video I'm going to be talking about my BOB style box braids. I have been getting a lot of questions about this hairstyle and a lot of you guys have been loving it on me on Instagram. This is basically my first protective style since I said that I was going to do protective style, so the first protective style that I wanted to try before my hair got too long. Is these fog box braids? I have been seeing these pictures everywhere on tumblr everywhere. On Instagram - and I was obsessed - and I really wanted to do so - because my natural hair, when it's pulled in the back, it stops about like right here to my collarbone. So clearly, I cannot bring back up my hair because if I was to braid it and then burn it, I will be burning my real hair, and that is not the goal of this protective style challenge goal is to get on pit length and so what I Did was the back of my hair, like I said so, the back of my hair is cornrow and it's three rows and that will that allowed me to do these Fox braids. So I did do my braids pretty small, because I wanted to make sure that it was full and I wanted to make sure that it covered the back of the part of my hair. That'S not braided, because that will be tragic if it design, usually expression style brand. I use a total of I use the I brought five packets, but I use a total of four, and that is because I always cut the packet in half, and so each one packet will give me two little bundles of braiding hair that I could work with And then I did to measure the size of the braids that I wanted. I just use my thumb, so I separated it using my thumb and then I just went from there now, if you guys want to see how I actually do box braids like actually install them from start to finish, I have a detailed video on how I do All box braids and I'm going to link that in the card, so you guys can check that out. It is a super, detailed video and it's bomb, and you should check it out, because it's literally step by step on how I do my box braids now I didn't do the regular burning of the tips like with a lighter, because last time I did that the Hair stuck so bad and it was so annoying so have a major key that I want to. When it comes to burning box. Braids use a flatiron. Yes, a flatiron. Don'T use your good flat iron obviously, but go to the store, get your nose to go to Walmart Walgreens, get you cheap, no $ 15 flat iron, and then what you want to do is what I did was measure the size like a how about how long I wanted the box braids to go. The shorter, your hair is the shorter up you can go, but this is about the lift that I wanted. It literally put the Flatiron highest, setting, clamp it and let it burn off, and you could literally just peel it if you want, you can roll it around with your fingers or you can just kind of let it stay now, because the flat iron makes it super Smooth the hair does not stick as bad as it would if he was to just burn it individually with the white. What else um somebody had actually the hair type of hairstyles that I can do with this these box braids. I'M this really not a lot of hairstyles, just because the simple fact that they are really short and so the most that I do. If I do style, it is just kind of pull the front up like this and just take a hair tie, and that's literally just to get it out my face so that I can eat but of the net. I wear it down. I did this style because I wanted to wear it as a ball bit, so that is how I've been rocking it, because that's what I wanted, but if I was to at all that time up, it took me about five hours to do. Maybe even like four and a half, it really did not take me that long, but that all depends on how quickly you braid, and so I think, that's it um, like I said, I'm going to be wearing this. A hefty is bracing for about two weeks, going on three I'll, probably wear one more week, and then I'm going to take them out and go into something else.
