#outre #quickweave #protectivestyles

All right, y'all so getting started. This video is not going to be like my traditional tutorial youtube video that i normally do um, i'm kind of winging it today. I wanted to do a quick weave, so i'm just going to show y'all the real struggle of doing it. Hopefully it's not a struggle, but if it is then y'all just don't have to watch it but yeah. I want to do a quick leave today and i'm kind of scared, because i never did a quick week before it is my first quick weave um if y'all have followed me at least from when i cut my hair. I told you guys that i want to dip into like wigs and things like that, so quick weaves is definitely one of those avenues, although you can still do a quick weave on whatever length hair that you have, but i haven't really gotten around to it until Right now so hopefully this is the start of something great, so we're just going to get right into this video. So i did. I did do the ball. Cap method probably didn't need to, but i just figured why not now, if y'all wondering why it looks like this, i'm telling you i don't know i've done the ball cap twice the first time i did it. I messed it up, so i had to do it over and it didn't come out as good as it was supposed to. I actually hadn't posted that video yet mind you. I did that video like last year, 2021 um. I did a wig if you want to see that video, i might still give it to y'all, but anyway, this time i did it again. It was literally like the best glued down cap that i probably have ever done, and then i want to apply myself to spray some more freeze spray. After i cut off the excess and yeah. If you are into this type of stuff, you already know that i messed it up that way, so i'm going to be using the utre velvet remy doobie 100 remy human hair wig. Now, when i bought it, i thought it was literally just going to be a wig that came in here. You just slap it on and that's it. No. This is a quick weave, which is fine, because i was going to do a quick weave anyway. I just thought i could get a little head start with like experimenting with another wig first, but god was like no sis. You got to get into this quickly business fast, so i'm going to insert a picture on the screen, so y'all can see what it looked like in the store and that's why i was like you know what i can really i might. I might really come if this up so in a good way. That'S what we're going to be doing today. This is what it looks like. It is the utre velvet doobie wig, which is technically quickly because i already opened it and it's definitely a quick weave. The length is eight inches and the colors, i guess that are blended in the tracks - are tc30, 27 and 613.. If y'all aren't new to quick weaves, you already know that i got ta go in with this protective shield, so i'm gon na go ahead and do that y'all. I'Ve never done this before i don't know what i'm doing this stuff is very liquidy too. I thought it was a little bit thicker, but basically, if you don't do the wig cap method and you just braid your hair down, you can still put this over top of your wig. I mean you can still put this over top of your hair and it's supposed to protect your hair too. So that's why i'm just adding it to the the pieces that are hanging out because, like it doesn't really matter like, i really didn't need to do the ball cap method, but i'm doing it anyway, because, first of all, i need to see where this protective shield Is protecting because i ain't trying to rip my hair out when i finish this, but anyway, let me go ahead and finish putting this on after i apply this, i'm going to dry it because you want to make sure when you um are doing your quick weave That this stuff underneath is dry all right, y'all. So basically the color cap that i used didn't even matter um, but all of the shield is now added. It is slipping back a little bit, but i'm just adding some around where it's sliding back just to make sure that if any glue is up here that it doesn't get on my hair and after it's completely dry, then i'm going to start gluing on the tracks And y'all please pray for me. I really hope this come out good, because the mannequin gave me hope. Yeah, i ain't gon na lie. Y'All! I'M scared! I'M scared! I'M about to just go ahead and open up this wig. This hair, i should just say, hair because it's not even a full wig. You got ta, make it into a wig. So this is how it comes in the pack after you take it out the box. You just slide this little piece off, and one thing i don't like about this is how they uh pin the hair inside like this is dangerous, like these are loose pins, basically like once you take the hair off. If you're, not careful, you lose them on flow. You'Re going to your foot up so uh ultra, i'm going to need y'all to get it together, because y'all need to find a smarter way, but anyway i might just undo this hair. So hopefully this is enough, hair first of all, and secondly, hopefully i got ta. Do too much manipulation after i finish, so this is what it looks like. Hopefully it looks good on because now i'm not really seeing the vision, but we're going to see because it's my first time i don't know what i'm doing um it does not come with the closure. So that's really the challenging part about this. I need to figure out how i'm going to make it look natural with no leave out no parts so yeah. Hopefully this is enough because this i might have to go, get another one y'all, but i'm gon na just see what i can do from what i have and the way i want to glue this is i'm gon na glue it with the bumped ends tucked under So it can curl inward versus outward. All i'm about to do is just measure it from where i want to cut it and see and just glue it there. Hopefully, i don't need to do them so close together, but yeah. I don't think i'm gon na talk to this. I'M just going to show y'all me gluing it to my head and i do have my blow dryer on hand. So after i do glue down one layer, i'm just gon na speed the drying process up a little bit in between each um track, so yeah y'all enjoy me experimenting. Oh do y'all see the vision because i don't know it's cute with the makeup. So far like new hair, who did yeah well, you already know the people who've been subscribed. You already know when i start feeling myself, you already know i'm about to it up: okay, i'm probably gon na come back and talk to y'all. Once i get towards the front, hopefully i don't look too wiggy, but at this point it's a quick weave. I don't really care it's gon na be cute in pictures. It'S gon na be cute in videos. So y'all know it's not my hair. It don't even matter like at this point: i'm just experimenting trying new things and we're going to enjoy the process. I got this much left, it could work for the rest. Hopefully it does um, but once i get up to the top, i'm probably gon na have to like make a closure out of this. I have this much left and i still want to put a track right here. Just so when i do split it, it's not black, but i have this much left at the top and i don't think it's enough y'all, because i still want to make sure it's closed up and then i want to make a small closure well hold up. Now. I don't know i'm scared, like i don't want to run out of hair just for like me to have to go back to the beauty supply store just to get one more little piece. Okay, this one i'm gon na, do i'm gon na close up the circle, or at least do one more track to make a circle. Um, i'm gon na see how much is left for me to just put like a little a little track right here, maybe like from here to here and then whatever's left. Hopefully i can make some type of closure at the top, but i look cute though this cute, it's cute and i already had a feeling before i started this - that i was going to probably run out of hair my hair baby y'all. I already know i was going to run out of hair and i probably was going to have to just throw on a hat or something and go get some more. So that's what i'm going to do, but it's really cute, though, like i like how it just layers on its own, since it's all one length, you can start in the back and as you go up since it's the same length, it's just gon na give it Its own layers, so that's cute, all right, so you can see when i lift it a little bit now, it's not as much black there. So if the wind blows, it's not going to blow it to where it's going, to lift all the way up now right here, oh no, but that's the least of my concerns. I was just concerned about this little piece here because you know everybody looking at where the part goes. So we ain't gon na we ain't gon na have no uh black hair schwann. Do that i'm definitely about to go to the beauty, supply store and get me another one. If i can find like a closure piece, then i'm gon na just get that, but i'm gon na find it. If i got ta go to more stores, then i'm gon na have to go to more stores because we finishing this video today i don't know, i don't know what y'all thought this was, but we finishing this video, so i'm probably still going to add some heat To it and just get it to my liking, because you know it's cute like this, but i'm not that type of girl to just put it on the go. I got to dress it up and make it real. If your head is smaller, one pack will probably do. Let me go run to the store all right, y'all, i'm back. Finally, so i went to my beauty supply store and i actually found a closure. This is a different kind like it goes to a different kind of quick weave, but it's the same brand. So i'm just like we're gon na use it because i don't know what else i'm gon na do so. The closure actually is only in the color 27 um. It'S fine. I have a mixture of different colors in here i got tc30 27 and 613. So this is what the closure looks like. So when it's sitting on top, hopefully you don't look too crazy, but hey, it is what it is. This is the last piece of the puzzle and we just have to pinch it up. So i'm just going to this is what it looks like taking it out. The pack, so i'm just going to see if it measures out correctly from what's left here, nope, it's a little big. So when you get closures, you want to make sure that you're cutting it to where this circle fits uh snug, i guess inside of it. So i'm gon na just trim it down a little bit, so i'm actually just going to glue the circle instead of gluing the closure, i'm going to take my flat iron and just kind of flip, the ends how i want it and definitely blend in this closure. It doesn't look that bad. I would have loved for the closure to be the same blend as the actual hair that i uh quick weaved, but it's straight like this is my first quick weave had i known about the closure, i would have gotten one. I would have figured they would at least put one in this thing, since it cost so much um yeah. They definitely could at least put a little circle closure in it, but it is what it is. I'M thinking about getting a razor as well and just like. Layering it a little bit more in the front. I don't know yet because this is cute, but it don't look like the mannequin and i think they went ahead and like razored it a little bit to make it like really layered. So it's cute, though, like it's different, you know i've never been blonde before i ain't mad at it. For my first quick weave, not bad at all, hey y'all! It'S me so after i straightened out any lumps and bumps from the hair. I had the bright idea to curl the ends, so that's what i ended up doing for some reason. When i have straight hair on my head, i just end up curling it. So after i curled it, i added some baby hairs where the wig parts just for a little realism, i didn't want it to go straight from wig to forehead, so i just threw in a super two of baby hairs, and that was it. It did come out. Cute, but it wasn't growing on me fast enough, so the next day i ended up combing out the hair and cutting some bangs did. I know what i was doing no, but did i want some bangs? Yes, so all i did was cut some bangs bump. The ends and you'll see in a few how my hair came out. We have been up in the i wanna yeah. All right, y'all already seen me tweak it up a little bit, but this is the final look. I think y'all can tell by my smile that i am very happy with this hair um. I did like the other style, but i don't know like it just wasn't. It wasn't growing on me fast enough, so i was just like i don't know. I'M gon na have to change it up, fix it do something because i don't know how long it's gon na last. I don't know it was something about it that just wasn't giving everything it was supposed to have caves, so i had to change it. Y'All know me anyway: i'm gon na switch it up queen. I change up my hair, at least like every three four five days, so it wasn't gon na last long in that style anyway, and i don't know it was like after i finished doing my hair, i had a vision to do like a blonde bang, so i Had to do i had to see i had to see if i could do it, i had to see if i could really kill this. Look, i'm not no hair, stylist y'all know i'm not no hair stylist, i'm a do it at homeis, and i do that. It'S real cute. I really like it like this one. This style is growing on me, so much more than the curly style. I don't know. Maybe it was because, like the part, wasn't really a part, i don't know something about it. It was cute, but it just wasn't. It wasn't that girl - and this right here, is that growl, so just to give y'all like a couple pros and cons about this quick weave um. Like i already mentioned the packaging, they could figure out a newer way to secure the hair inside because those pins are very dangerous um. I don't like the density so much of this hair, because it's really really flat. I don't really like the flatness of it. So i was telling myself i said next time i do this, i'm definitely doing this hair again. Okay, first of all, i'm doing this hair again. Whenever i do this hair again, i'm going to get two boxes and i'm going to fill in the tracks closer together. So it can be more fuller and can give me that volume that i need in my hairstyles, my natural hair is naturally voluminous. So when i do like wigs and quick weaves, i don't really like my hair to be flat, even if it's a style like this, i just need some volume to it because i'm used to volume so yeah. I'M definitely going to do this again. Probably in the same color, probably in different colors, but whenever i do it again, i'm definitely going to be using more than one box for this quick weave. I actually like the hair. It doesn't get tangled it's easy to flat iron. You can use it probably up to like what 450, maybe even 475. I don't know. I only use like up to 375 on this hair, so it's very easy to flat iron, it literally curls or straightens, in the way that you want it with one pass. So that's wonderful! I do like the length of it. I actually was surprised that i like the blend of the color, though, because when i showed y'all the color straight out the box i was like. I don't know if it's gon na work, but it actually came together pretty nicely but yeah as far as the cut um i do like the length of it. I do like how it's layered on its own, because, obviously, when you stack the same length of hair, it's going to make its own layers, so i really do like that. The only thing is, i feel like it's a little bit longer than i would like it for this style. So you know i got a couple connects, so i'm gon na see if they can fix it for me, um, hopefully sometime this week when they see me, you know, trim me up a little bit because the back pieces are are much longer than the rest, and I just want it all kind of like i want it all kind of this length. I don't want it a blunt cut, but i want it to stay like this length in this type of like razor vibe all the way around, and i think that's going to be really cute. So hopefully i can get that done this week, but yeah guys. I really do like how this hair came out today. It'S really really cute, i'm definitely filling the bang versus the curled, not really invisible part but faux part. Maybe can we call it a faux part, but let me know down below in the comments which style you like better. Did you like the curls with the faux part, or do you like the ba bang?
