And I'm just about to cut it off. Oh my God. Obviously Zara is not here for what's up house to go down we're about to get this girl hair done. Forget all that she talking about. You know what I'm saying she have been doing good her past I'll say. A few washes. Zara has been doing an amazing job. Just laying back like a big girl. She haven't been putting on a whole show, I feel like she is finally breaking through a barrier. Look at my baby, my baby, my baby she's about to get her hair done. I don't even know it. I bet I think she knows it's regardless if she knows or not we're doing her hair today we're doing some differences on his hair. I'M gon na show y'all show y'all. She don't know, what's been happening now, but I'm gon na go ahead and show y'all what we about to do today. I'M sure you have to tell by that title by that thumbnail, but voila you got all the straightening things out. I don't plan on like soaking, her hair or nothing like that um, but she's. Getting her first trim. Okay and I like to trim hair um. It can be blown out, but I would prefer it to be straight, so I can really get a good cut, because this girl needs a good cut like y'all. I'M gon na tell you all about this child here. So yeah y'all guys are getting her first term. Today, her first flat iron honey - I am just like - ah, hopefully, we don't have too much the craziness going on today, right, Yara kisses. You only give me a kiss. Let'S go, I spoke way, lay back, you can keep foreign treatment and I just feel like she really needs it. Look at them. Curls juicy juicy mama. Yes, juicy curls. She really needs it in the back. Um yeah. The back really needs it, because her curls back here are dry. If you notice your hair and your baby's hair anybody here getting those knots to where it's just like it can come off. It'S just dead here, it's shade hair. It needs to be cut off. No, it's not. They always like tangle the hair. They just be in the way, and it really needs to go and I actually want Instagram. I was just asking for opinions if anybody thought a two-year-old was too young to get a trim. Of course, nobody said. That'S who you were too young to get in trouble. I wanted to see what people thought, but yeah two I feel like honestly. I should have been trimmed her hair because her not like her hair just comes off my hands. Her hair has had knots since she was one, so I really could have you know, blew it out and trimmed her hair a long time ago, but I don't know I just y'all y'all know I do know. Lisa it's been a struggle with Zara's hair journey. I feel like it's getting a little easier now y'all see she, she still do her little fussing or whatever, but I feel like she at this point. Oh, but I do feel like she takes it a little better now to where I feel like. I'M not like. Torturing, her y'all have seen me have to like hold Zara down and do all of that - and I just don't like doing that so yeah I feel like now, though, I'm actually able to get her to cooperate just a little bit to where I feel like. I'M not torturing her and just doing the most just trying to do hair so um yeah there's nothing wrong with letting babies here. Let it go, let it breathe um. Let him do it do, but at some point this has to be done even for babies giving them that good trim give them a good, deep condition, because Harry's hair is in the day, no matter how old they are hairs. Hair is Split, Ends, knots and Knots, and we got ta get it together. I said: listen, sorry, okay and my baby walking around with her hair is knots and the knots at this point are just out of control. Like I just know what this trim is about to just even get her curls together, it'll be easier to detangle and everything, so I'm excited to trim my baby's hair. I know she got like some breakage up in here, which is really common um for babies and toddlers because of how they sleep um, even though child she sleeps all types of which away now, but just from her being a baby. This, like you know, midsection of her hair, was always like a little shorter, so um it is catching up, but you know we'll see we'll see, but you know y'all. Overall, I was already a little natural hair update. Her hair has been doing so good and wipe your nose. Our curls have been doing great um. I do notice that her hair catches a lot of lints and so yeah. That'S like my only biggest issue with her hair. I just do very low maintenance hairstyles. I did notice that when I was trying to do too much like Styles around the edges, it didn't start to like thin her hair out or when she go to her daddy house and it's braided up like it'll, really thin her edges or her thighs. So I just try to leave this alone. Sometimes I do like brush it up into a couple ponytails, but I try to keep even the ponytails like lower to where I'm not pulling her hair too much uh, because the other sides, the side, is a little bit like that. But overall, her two-year-old curls are doing great and after this cut baby after this cut foreign, what is so bad about this ain't? This relaxing? It'S not relaxing so bad about it. It'S okay! I'M almost done! Okay, come on it's okay! Would you like a snack? No juice, everything there you go all right here are the corners and I see those little knots I didn't get enough already. I want to hide because I'm trying to get you. Where are you waiting? I still see you yeah, so she got those little nuts hey. Oh yeah, look at them look at them on that. I got ta, get them off my baby's hair, so yeah girl, Chop Chop me about the chop chop and I'm just using this stuff girl this. I like this because it's heavy and it really coats the hair goods, I'm gon na use this and also let me show y'all the new products on yours. I always use my shea moisture on the kids and I found this stuff on sale at Target and I said, hold on and girl. It just works so good. I love this. It'S like it smells so good it moisturizes so good. I love it and I also got the leave-in spray y'all this, but we love this. We love this so yeah. I'M gon na use these two together to put on her hair and then blow dry. I just want y'all to feel this part of the video like. I couldn't even put music over it and chop it all up like I normally do, because the sound of like me doing Zara's hair is just I don't know it was so therapeutic for some reason it was like Nostalgia. You know just your black mama doing your black hair running her hands through your black curls. I was like, oh don't let me get already but y'all for real. I thought this was just such a beautiful moment to have, like you know, really wrong. Just doing my daughter's hair, you know, like that's just so sweet to me. I never thought that I would have a daughter y'all. I thought I was gon na, be a boy mom to the death of me. Okay, but now, like God, really sent me a daughter and um, because I am a woman, it just moments like this remind me of like moments with me and my mom, and you know I remember getting my hair done, thinning flow in between my mama legs and She was doing whatever hair she was doing to my head and I remember I used to have this queasy feeling in my stomach every time I got my hair done and I just imagine that's how Zara feels like right now, it's just queasy, it's just don't touch It it's just like yeah, I understand you know I just love having a daughter, my little Zara B uh, even though she don't, she won't be fooling with me. You know, you know what I'm saying it's just nice to be able to create these memories with hair. I don't know I mean hair stylist, so it's real like it's real, deep, because y'all know it's always deeper than Beauty, and it's just such a like. You know spiritual woman connection when we, when we get into doing each other, hair or stuff like that, it's just so sweet. You know. Thank you, my baby here pretty I die. Thank you. Come on here. All of this hair. My baby got honestly her blow. Dryer came out so good, I'm kind of second guessing straightening it with a I'm kind of second guessing going through with a flat iron, because because it's honestly straight enough for me to trim just like this, so I don't know we might wait till she three to Give her her first official straightening, but for now I think I'm gon na just keep it blow dry um. So I wanted to do some braids anyways, so her hair is just so pretty. I just love my baby there and it's getting so much easier to detangle, because now I'm on some sort of like schedule with her hair, because at first I I did not have a schedule for a while with her like. I was watching it when I could watch it. I was, you know, barely styling it for real, of course, since I'm managing it better. It'S just easier to manage. So look at that. Look at that baby, hair girl and she won't. You know, look at it like girl, you sound grateful for this hair. You got. I want a little piece too, I'm just so proud of her. Like did. I see this no falling out no screaming no holding down with my leg like she said here and just let me blow dry, her hair. Is this baby growing up it's his baby growing up? Okay, all right so here is her ends, how they look and how they looking yeah. A lot of this just needs to go and it needs to go. I wan na I Wan na Give You a little Bob's out of the way he's looking she'll cut you up in a nice little Chum, Chum Chum, but I'm not gon na cut like too much off. You know. I'Ma still give her hair time to grow, and you know just do what it do, but I think I'm gon na take probably like an inch off, though all the way around, but this was a client, though I would show them like I honey, you need a Bob this is kind of emotional for me, because cutting her ends is like her first hair. You know like that was the hair she had in my whoa. That'S her baby hair like and I'm just about to cut it off. Oh my God. Okay, hang time all right, y'all, oh my gosh! I cannot believe it look at my baby's hair like this is so this is not real. No, I got a big girl, not she's, a big girl. I believe we're doing this part. Oh my goodness. Oh my God. I can't relate it, I'm so emotional, okay, okay, oh damn it! Oh my gosh! Oh my goodness, look at our little baby here, my baby hair. Oh oh check you out, they don't even know. What'S going on, she don't even care foreign foreign foreign. My baby is true: I've been trying so hard not to go scissor crazy, I'm trying to get it all super even give her shape and all of that, but she don't need to do all that. We just need to give her a little trim, so we could get rid of all those nuts which I think for the most part are gone because the way her hair is combing through right now, girl, her hair, is looking so good. It'S feeling so good. Just look at it: um foreign

Ellisa Williamson: I absolutely loved this mommy/daughter moment. I have one daughter as well and I braid and style her hair just like my mama use to with me and my sisters. And I can't get over how much of a big girl Zara is!!! ❤️

Kiki K Dahrling: You don't need Social Media to determine what's best for your lil' one's hair. As long as you're not hurting your baby, it's all good. She's beautiful whatever you decide...

Jay Rogers: Awww! She had her moments, but handled the trim like a big girl. Thanks to mama for not going scissor happy and it was very smart to not introduce heat to a child's hair by flatironing at such a young age.

Ava Marie Plus 3: Awww Zara was sitting there being a big girl while she got her hair done !! Love it!

allsolidarity: When she’s old enough to understand her momma is a hairstylist be prepared for her asking for a switchup every week❤️

Rochelle H: Zara is going to love having a hairdresser mum when she's older, she doesn't know how good she's got it

Bree Dubs: She did so good! & you’re such an amazing mom! I always say that but it’s so true ❤ your babies are blessed to have you!

jaleesa carr: I need to do this with my 4yr old. Detangeling her hair is a nightmare ‍ and I know it's because of those stringy ends. Well done mama ☺️❤️

Natalie Rowe: You did a great job as usual! Purrr! She surprised me how she sat there without giving you a very hard time unless you cut all of that out. LOL I know she's going to enjoy getting her hair done now that those knots are gone and it won't hurt her anymore.

Nubian Goddess: Oh baby girl sitting there like a big girl. We're so proud of of u Zara.

Tuamotu: Awww, beautiful moment! Thank you for sharing! She’s going to have the best hairstyles as she grows up. Most importantly, you’re instilling in her a wonderful and positive relationship with her hair. Well done

Julie Braime: She will keep getting better at getting her hair washed and done I remember going through the same when my daughters including my son was young but she is really being a big girl I love to watch your mommy daughter dates ❤❤

Stacy G: You are a true inspiration. Seriously… I have a daughter that is 3 years old and she doesn’t like to wash her hair. It’s to the point where I get anxiety when we have wash days… you encourage me to keep on trying. ❤

Maryanns_space: You go Tierra!!!!! You are a great mom! Your Babygirl is growing up!!! Soon she won’t be crying at all when washing her hair! Getting our pretty on as little girls is special bonding time!!!!

Tamara Harden: I recently did the same thing to my son's hair who is 24. His hair is about the same length as Zara's. He likes it braided. He had the knots at the ends, and I had to end up trimming and the comb went right through it after that. I feel like Zara will eventually get used to you doing her hair the older she gets. It will get better as time goes on. Hang in there girl!

Louisiana Girl: I knew she was going to have a lot of hair. At two what’s it going to be at four? Keep having these moments with her. There were my best times with my Mother.

StandupGirl1981: Doing my daughters hair used to be so therapeutic for me as well! When they were little! Since they are older, I dabble just a little because they have taken over their own hair care! Thank God!! Lol

Lucy Middleton: I cut my sons hair at 2.5 years old. It’s was overdue. Now we are out the door 30 mins faster in the mornings. I am so happy I did. My little had crazy painful knots just like Zara. Love the video.

Phoenix Chisolm: ...my niece was the exact same way as Zara and her hair used to pic up so much debris in between washes BUT LEMME TELL YOU..... she completely changed after taking swimming ‍♀️ classes! Wash days turned heavenly!

Ewekneekness25: Girllll!!!! I feel you with the emotion of cutting her hair for the first time! I cut my daughters hair (correction: trim) as soon as she was one year old. Her grandmother was not happy at all, of course I payed her no mind. I kept her hair cut in her album..... memories...

Courageous Cat: She’ll be alright. Just do her hair on a consistent basis and she will get used to it, TT

Sharon Hunter: Awww zar-zar looks so pretty she got her trimmed, now it can grow longer and stronger job well done mom❤

Jaydah Teaunna: Loved this for y’all ❤️ She did so well! I hope you keep the hair in a scrap book or something

Mariaa Marie: I know it’s controversial but have you thought about locing her hair if she still hates getting it combed when she’s older? (like around 6-up)

T H: This was a beautiful video to watch, you are right the mummy daughter moments are so precious. Zara's hair looks amazing too but I wouldn't expect anything less from you!

Latasha Roddan: I already knew Zara's sweet little self would have alot of beautiful hair ❤️. Especially with her talented mom taking care of it.

S Mac: Why is Zara me on my own wash day?! Our virtual niece is growing up soo fast! #bossboo @tierraj stay w them blessed hands. ❤‍❤

A ROB: Go Zara Bee!!!Your first hair trim. I remember my daughter’s first trim. I think she was 2 or 3 when I did it. Her hair is thick and long like Zara’s and has those little knots too. Now she’s almost 9 and it’s past time to do it again. Those little knots are the worse. Be Blessed, you and your Babies!!

Quana's Quorner: Her hair looks beautiful!!! Another way I used to clip my daughters ends would be to section her hair for two strand twist, coil her hair then clip the ends before two strand twisting. It just made it a lot easier and kept me from going scissor happy lol

Shinaie Watlington: The cutest little face ever!! Baby girl has the best side eye ever! Lol You were so gentle with her hair and it turned out beautiful. It's going to grow so fast I can't wait to see her hair journey!

Tarah J: I love how beautiful & healthy her hair is ❤

IAMSHAKEIRAMARTIN: Awww such a big girl Zara!!! I love her curls!! I used to hate getting my hair done too & then i got a perm & regretted it but now i be thinking about getting a perm again!! Our hair be stressing us out very young!!

Dori B.: Hey Tierra yes I remember those days with my two daughters. Zara gonna grow out of that stage and just let you do it. Nice wash day and trim my love. Zara with her pretty self it's the looks she gave lol the cuteness!

Victoria A: Zara did awesome . Great job and patience with her Tierra. She has beautiful head of hair

Danielle’s Day: She’s doing an amazing job ❤

Ciara Stewart: Great Job Zara..she is growing up Tierra..Peace & Blessings✌

Motivational_Strongwill D: There's nothing wrong trimming her ends. I have a 6 yr old and I trim her ends. And girl her hair now is thick and long and even. I also deep condition her 2 times a month . But your baby girl is such a big girl sitting there getting her done ❤

Banele Mafa: Aw Zara did such a good job❤️ you should get that kid's wash bar from Amazon where you can attach the phone on top for her to watch her shows while you're busy❤️

Angel Yvette: Zara is so lucky to have a mommy that's a hair stylist, but if those looks she gave coul kill, you'd be dead

Roxy Reynolds: Sis you inspiring me cuz I’m the same with my 2 year old

Sequoia Russell: Zara did such an amazing job sitting there getting her ends clipped. Meanwhile my 5 year old could never. Lol.

N Green: Zara don’t even understand how lucky she is to have you as her Mom. Good job with the trim #wish my Mom was a stylist

Lelaapple: Great job Tee you always make things work soso proud of you❤❤❤

6huntie: hair looked so healthy at the end ❤

Francine Washington: I started trimming my daughter’s hair young. Do to always wearing braids, her end has fairy knots and her ends was thin… makes for a healthy head of hair.

Marvelously Made Up: Okaayyy Miss Zara Bee with the baby inchezzzz this is so beautiful T. She'll be so grateful to have a mom like you that nurtured her hair young bc I can already tell it's gonna be THRIVING when she gets older

LovinMyCurves&Curls 38: Awww, we mothers will find the patience won't we?? LOL, I didn't have a daughter, I have a son, so I can imagine the level of stress for both mom and daughter when wash day comes around. My momma didn't play no games and I hated when she washed my hair and also when she styled my hair. It wasn't until I was about 11 when I got my first relaxer and professional cut that I really fell in love with hair and going to the salon. From that moment on, I got my hair done at least every two weeks and had almost every style a kid could have in the 90s LOL. But, I did end up doing my son hair tho, when he started growing it out when he was 14. Now he's 18 and I wash and twist his hair every two weeks

Truthful Rating: I hate to see you go but at least we have a whole catalog of YouTube videos that we can remind ourselves of how amazing you are. You remind me so much of my mother when I was your daughter's age. She was a single mom she did it all. She made everything fun and exciting and when I watch you interacting with your kids it brings back memories of my mother raising myself and my two siblings. Again you're amazing and I hope you don't leave the YT family hanging. We just love you Tierra J.

Only1Sosa: I could tell that was a 'i need a nap' cry Zara is doing great with wash day. I was still fighting wash days when i was like 8 years old

Louisiana Girl: It’s the same feeling when our boys get their first haircut and we keep the baby hair. I still have my sons hair and he is 34.❤

Valerie Murray: Nice trim her hair is going to grow back so thick. The looks was it for me.

Billie Hicks: I like when Zara knocked the cut hair off her tray without missing a beat with the ‘mean face.’

Cake Supply_Lady: Zara you did so well. Very proud of you.

B. Pink: Awww… I cannot believe how she has grown, so beautiful. Really cannot believe she sat still. Lol

Megan Daniels: Thank you so much for not stopping from washing her hair just cuz she's crying now letting her think she's in charge good job Mom hold on a minute stop

MzDivaShy: Awww.. Fairy knots are what I call them Have you ever used Silicon Mix? Also I noticed with my daughter styling her hair while wet is so much easier.

Alexis Love: Zara and my daughter have the exact same type of hair! So thick and beautiful!

LaTonya: Awwwwe look @Zara with all that beautiful natural thick hair, she's on some big girl status getting her hair done!

KpTheG: One thing about babies, they gone hush when they get them some juice lol that’s their favorite word Good job mama!

AllthingsMicahandbeauty: My daughter got her hair straightened and trim for the first time at 7 and it was emotional for me too. My son and Zara were born a month apart and I can’t imagine trimming his baby hair yet but I definitely won’t be waiting till seven again

DivineDuchessofLight: She is so beautiful. You are doing a wonderful job with your children. You are a great mother.

Jacqui Tyrell: She is the cutest little girl ❤️❤️Loved this vlog. Keep on making memories with your kids. They will look back on these vlogs one day and know that their Mother’s love is unmatched ❤❤❤

Whitakers Way: I didn’t cut my daughter hair until she was 5 she got a small twin with her first press. If her hair is curly then I didn’t see the need to cut or trim it but once she turned 5 baby we had to get it flat ironed for the first time! ❤

Yashica Jett: Miss Zara is such a big girl I remember when it took you days to do her wash day. Great Job T

Rhonda Taylor: Aww she did so well !!

Billie Hicks: You are a sweet mommy, the juice got her attention and you gave her gram crackers anyway…❤

Carla Potter: Beautiful hair for a 2 year old

At Home With Erica: The way Zara be side eyeing Baby girl got INCHES okay!!! I most definitely need a trim and this made the urge to resist cutting my hair again much harder

quawnisha brown: You definitely should give the Pantene gold series moisture boost shampoo and conditioner a try on both you and your daughter hair it’s really good. It’s hydrating, moisturizing and it smells amazing and very affordable

Shawntel Monroe: I think I trimmed my daughters hair at 3 or 4. She had so much hair. I pulled up to one of her HS basketball games and she had cut her hair all off. She still cute!

Janine Phillips: She is such a cutie...❤

Ariee Yell: All that pretty hair

Mary Lovett: Zara is gorgeous . She did that , like a big girl.

76 Sweetjane: Aww she's beautiful

Ayonnaz Glam: Aww ❤️❤️. Love that color hair wrap

Natural Savant: She has such beautiful thiiiiiick hair!

Carmen: Zara has some beautiful healthy hair

ominouscherub: ik this would sound weird but I would keep her hair it’s so many companies that make art pieces and or jewelry (particularly for grieving parents) it’s something i’m personally gonna do for my first kid whenever that is and I would say i’m just like zara at my big age of 23 it’s the having to sit to get my hair done that I HATE. I wanna be able to say fuck it and leave so I do my own hair and nails be walking around stuff half done

Sweetpea222: 10:52 is giving me ASMR vibes very relaxing. Hey Zara

Christy: I Wish My Mom And Grandmother would’ve Wash My Hair Like That I Was Face Down

Kiera N I C H É: Big Gworl Zara ..... *When I saw her giving you the side eye while you were in the moment... I just HOLLERED - like hurry Up Tierra before she changes her mind about this!

EnhanceHer Beauty: Okay nie Zara being a big girl getting her hair done 14:53 .. it's so thick and pretty

Peachy M: She is very beautiful and thanks for the video ❤

Cheryl Meunier: Lucky girl...she gets to lay down for a head massage ‍♀️

LifeAsBrittany Vlogs: Hey Sis ❤ I love her hair

Nina Williams: Fairy knots are a real pain in the and heck yeah- if you don’t trim that, it’ll just lead to splitting and breakage I don’t think there’s necessarily a starting age for getting a trim or cut - let’s say it was an adult and they did a big chop, they wouldn’t say oh my hair is only two years grown out, no cut needed. Do what’s best for you and yours, buck the naysayers ‍♀️ *edit to add* 18:26 ➰ If that wasn’t the cutest thing everrrrr

Gabrelle Riley: Okkkkkhair healthy and looking good. Go Zara
