Trying A Vintage Brush Out On Bob Length Hair The Pin Curl Diaries

Now that I have a new hair length, I think it's time to bring back the pin curl diaries. My current long bob is much closer to the typical haircut of the 1940s, so in theory this should make my quest for the perfect brush out a little easier. Let's kick off with a wet set staple: foam rollers!

Hey guys welcome back here., It is time for a hair experiment.. Just before summer, I decided to finally do the big chop and cut my hair into a longer bob.. Since then it has grown out and I have cut it again. Messed up had my husband. Do it for me ..., He did a fantastic job for someone. Who'S never touched hair scissors in their life.. It did make me realize that having short hair was probably going to be the end of my DIY hair days, and I'm gon na have to visit a hairdresser next time to get it cut because it was dramatic.. It was an intense experience, not one. I care to recreate all too many times., Probably gon na have to have it done professionally, straightened out and everything.. But what I was gon na say is that it's now even shorter, or at least when I cut it last time it was even shorter than the first time I cut it short. So above shoulders was the look. I was going, for. Lengthwise, I love it.. I actually really really enjoy having shorter hair.. I wasn't expecting. I would like it this much.. I find it to be, and I can't believe I'm saying this practical.. Ah, who am I? There are many benefits to having short hair. However, there is also one downside, which is a big downside, and it's one that I've experienced more so in the past couple of weeks, and that is actually what you're looking at right, now.. My biggest fear when I like before I cut my hair, was that this would happen and it has happened. This. This hairstyle.. This is what naturally happens. This is what I wake up with every morning and I absolutely hate it.. I detest this hairstyle. No offense to anyone who styles their hair like this. Obviously, when it's a choice, it's a completely different story, but my hair just does this and it's the literal opposite of what I want.. I wanted a big fluffy kind of triangular hairstyle and not this., It's just ugh. So basically, I find myself having to style my hair daily, which is something I'm not okay, with., I'm just I'm just not willing to do that. Never have been.! It'S why I gave up on the curly girl method. I just cannot be bothered to spend time on my hair every day.. I am very much a wash and go type of person, and this this is just not doing it., So I'm gon na have to figure out something to make this work for me, because I like the length I hate, what it does.. So I'm trying to save this somehow., I have tried curly girling again, including the whole drying technique, which is honestly what does it for me.? My hair looks fantastic if I've dried it with the diffuser, but it takes a lot of time involves heat styling and it only lasts for about a day if I'm lucky often not even a whole day and then the next day, I'll. Wake up with this again. And if I curl it with a curling iron, same thing., Looks amazing and then next day I wake up, and I have this again.. I need to find probably a better overnight curling method., My previous go-to, for my longer hair, which was bathrobe curls. I haven't tried that yet on this length, but I'm a little bit worried that, especially this lower hair right here won't wrap around the bathrobe tie. Often enough to actually curl. To get to the point of this video. Why we are here today is I'm gon na try another favorite of mine for overnight curling and that is foam rollers.. So, basically, can we consider this a new installment in the pin, curl diaries? I think we can., Even though it's been a while, since I actually did any real pin curls in this series., I should maybe rename it to ... vintage brush out curl diary. Nevermind pin curl diaries it is.. I have been using these on my hair when it was longer and it looked fantastic.. I will admit to having tried these ones on my shorter hair. Hated, how that looked it just .... My hair isn't long enough for big voluminous waves like this, and it just gave me kind of a very old-fashioned kind of old lady-like, helmet hair type of thing., Just no.. I didn't like that. So what I'm gon na do today is go back to the smaller rollers, which I initially got for my first foam roller edition of the pin curl diaries when I still had long hair. And back then these didn't work because they gave me way too tight of A curl and my hair was just too long and the ends were too stringy for that, but I think now it could work., I'm hopeful. I hope that this might work., So I'm gon na try again with these small rollers and hope that they actually make my hair look fabulous and fluffy and 30s like.. This better work out, because I have somewhere to go tomorrow.. I actually have a work thing: a physical work thing which is like a once or twice a year occurrence for me.. So, let's see we're gon na go the size of a roller so about to half here, ... Just gon na start.. Since I have so many of these, I can do small sections, which I think will be beneficial and I think I'm just gon na go with the good old technique of rolling everything under and hoping for the best., Or should I maybe curl these sideways Just to Be sure.. I really hope my bangs will cooperate with this. Nope. Oh no ...! Maybe if I start from where the bangs end. Please survive the night. Okay, I'm not gon na bore you with the entire set, but what I'm gon na do is set the front here. This whole section, just like I've done with this one, so they're gon na roll down, then on this side, I'm going to do the same thing. So rolling down and then on the back, I'm gon na leave this the top part straight.. I really hope it's gon na help avoid the helmet hair. And then from around here. I'M gon na do again rolls just downwards all along the back and that should give me a fairly consistent pattern to work with, and hopefully tomorrow, when I brush it out, it will look nice and I hope that that's not too much to ask for. So yeah. I'M gon na probably just do a little time lapse here, speed this up for you and I will talk to you. After. [ Upbeat vintage, jazz, music, ] Alrighty, my hair is all curled all around. I really hope I did this well.. I found it a little bit more difficult with this short hair, but fingers crossed fingers crossed. It turns out right.. So I'm just going to cover this up in my scarf here, so that it hopefully makes it through the night well, and then I guess that I will just see you guys tomorrow morning, Good morning, it's the next day my hair is still in curlers, which is Always a good sign., So let's take this out and see what we have to work with.. This is the most nerve-racking moment of all, because now I'm gon na see how it's gon na turn out and what I have. There's no way back, there's nothing! I can do. That's a tight curl.. That is a very tight curl., Oh no.. Actually, I think this is gon na be fine.. I think I think, for this length of hair. This is the right size roller, especially given the experience I now do. You have with the larger rollers.. I actually do think this is gon na be fine, Oh gosh, .... Okay, now that I have absolutely no hair left, let's just go for the first brush through and see what happens after and then we'll get to shaping and everything.. So, okay, let's do it.? Oh no! What have I done? Oh my gosh ..., It's not really getting much longer is it. This is always the crazy part about brush outs for me.. I mean look at this and look at this. Comes from the same curl set. Okay, but this is giving me hope this is giving me hope. - I really like what I'm seeing there.. You know what this reminds me of That. Drawing from that 1940s was it Guide to what hairstyles not to get when you have a round face.. But honestly, I still think I still think this is actually going somewhere. Yeah. I actually think this is not the worst.. Let me just backcomb this top bit a little bit. I think that'll look better if we give it a little bit of volume. Here. I feel like. I can't see it, of course, but I feel like the back is headed in the right direction feels fairly uniform, but I need to spend some time shaping the front. Here. Still pretty wild.. I think what I need to do is go check what this looks like from the back, because I have no idea.. Maybe I can use my camera for that, just my phone camera.. Oh all, right! Oh that's! Nice.! For now, I'm just going to leave it like this and I'll check in in a couple of hours and see if this has relaxed at all.. So I'll see you, then Okay, we're back.. It is now half past five. It'S been an entire day.. I filmed that previous clip around 10 o'clock in the morning. It'S 5.30 now. So this is what it looks like.. I was honestly expecting it to relax a little bit more. The curls did separate, but they didn't really relax much.. They did a little bit but not much., But I have to say it's it's growing on me. I think.. I did change by the way I put on a different outfit because I did feel like what I was wearing before was a little bit much made it a little bit grandma-esqye, especially with the glasses as well., But yeah. I actually, I think, it's kind of cute.. I'M not sure that it suits me very well. I don't think it necessarily looks better than my straight hair or the bigger waves like modern waves that I do on a more frequent basis, but I do think that you know every once in a while something special. It does look pretty cute., But yeah not cute enough. I think that I would be willing to do this every time I wash my hair., I'm also kind of curious. Maybe what will happen if I comb this through? Okay? Now you can see that the curls have indeed relaxed. It's much more of a glamour, wavy type of thing now than those really tight, curls that it was this morning. Okay. So this is a very different look again, but also kind of cute.. Coincidentally, I think this is a wonderful evening, look which means that this hairstyle carries really well from daytime to night, time. Yeah. I I really like this. This. I feel a little bit more confident in I think than what I had this morning. I'd say. This experiment was successful.. I was able to achieve a vintage look.. I might need to experiment a little bit more with short hair. So who knows? Maybe the pin curl diaries could make a comeback on this channel.. Thank you so much for watching guys. I really hope you enjoyed this.. Thank you for joining me on this journey.. If you have any tips for me for styling the shorter hair that I have ..., I'm not gon na change the cut. I think I should mention that., I'm not willing to cut my hair into a middy because, again majority of the time my hair is straight and a middy cut. I don't think that looks very good on straight hair., So yeah, I'm gon na have to work with the blunt straight cut that I have.. If you did enjoy this video, don't forget to give it a thumbs up and subscribe to my channel for lots more.. Thank you for watching once again, and I hope you have a wonderful weekend guys, and I will see you very soon in my next video. Bye.

Kasefi: This. The daily styling is why I let my hair grow back out. Everyone told me short hair would be so much easier, but for me it was much more work. For people who style their hair anyways, it might be quicker on shorter hair, but for me the "let air dry and put it in a bun"- type of person, it was a nightmare.

Ni: The flipped ends just happen in this length because of the shoulders- I had this as well when my hair was short and straightened. The easiest solution is keeping the hair above shoulder length or slightly longer. However I do think it looks cute on you :)

stetrick612: You totally had Evie from the Mummy vibes before you changed! So cute! I'm so hesitant to cut my hair shorter for your exact same reason. The bottom flip out is my worst nightmare. But the practicality of shorter hair is calling (especially with cold weather coming). If only wash and go hair looked as cute as this vintage brush out!

Miranda Fullen: I really think this hair style turned out great. It really had a vintage feel!

Christine Kruszyna: If you get your hair cut by a professional hair stylist, they can taper the ends in such a way that they won't curl up. Just let them know what you want and don't want and they should be able to get just the look you want.

Malin Kvitblik: I love those curls on you! For days when you don’t feel like doing to much with a long bob I really recommend getting a heated hairbrush, or a round dryer-brush to flip the ends in if you don’t like them flipping outwards

Marylyn: I think the shorter style looks nice on you. When I had a bob in the early 90s, I had to have it undercut in many layers to make it flip underneath otherwise it flipped out like your hair was doing at the beginning of the video.

Tracy: Yup, the dreaded flip. It’s inevitable (or so said my hairstylist when my hair was your length) because it’s what happens when the hair hits the shoulders. The solution is to go shorter or go longer, both of which would look great on you.

annadayl: You look so great with this hairstyle Lucy!

Cheyenne: The curls are super cute! When I had shoulder-length hair I would do two french braids (starting at the temples) and slept on them overnight - it captures all the lengths of hair and makes nice textured waves

PumpkinBecki: I adored it with the "light academia" look, and it was definitely giving me vintage vibes...oh and that little kiss curl was soooo cute!!! xx

Jane J: I love that your hair naturally curls out at the ends! You could now enter your sixties phase and that would be a great advantage

Lucy Walker: Would love to see the big roller/granny helmet brush-out ! You are such a good sport to share all these hair adventures.

lovemyrainydays: Oooh look at you rockin' the Evie "I'm a librarian" from The Mummy look!! Those curls turned out fabulous... and I think I'm gonna need to buy some foam rollers (my hair's pretty much that length).

Vera D: I have similar hair like you. And to prevent it from curling this annoying way (i feel you…),I wear it in a french braid, usually i sleep in it and next day, my hair is perfect. I do it almost every night as I found out this works for me.

eydie sanders: I love it! Shorter hair has made a world of difference for you. It looks thicker and this is definitely giving me vintage 40s vibes, which is awesome!

Bookwormscififan: That style turned out amazing!! Now I want to curl my hair too! You're lucky your hair goes out in opposite directions, mine just all points to the right haha

TheKatyQ: You have a 60’s retro hairstyle. I remember getting my waist length hair cut into that style. I loved it! I do understand it’s not for everyone, but, with a 60’s makeup and your hairstyle it’s truly my favorite era.

Bethany Hutchinson: I think your hair looked amazing all through this experiment! I’d love to know how long these curls lasted for you. I have wavy/curly hair and can generally get 3 days of decent hair out of each wash day without a lot of touching up.

Bird: Your hair turned out gorgeous wishing my hair would grow out faster What i do after a wetset is roughly re curl it at night dry and I can get it to last for a whole week with my realy dry dyed hair When it's longer it's easy to do some more chunky pincurls to hold the curl overnight with my shorter hair I use my hair rollers but being already curled is much quicker

Alicia Farnham: I think it's super cute! And what a timely video to watch upon returning home from a horrible hair appointment, where the hairdresser criticized my hair, lectured me, overcharged me, and cut it too short. Hopefully I can still get cute curls even though it's shorter and way blunter than I wanted.

tineke joldersma: Coming from a curly kinda girl family the cut makes the hair. It is a way of cutting the hair so it stays wide and thick by cutting the under length shorter than the upper, outer hair. The hairstylist has to be a good one though. I am way too lazy to do all those curlers and sleep with it. I admire your "daredevilyness" to do it the day you have the job!

A little bit of Katie: To avoid the flickout hairstyle you talk about at the beginning, maybe try pineapple-ing your hair overnight (ie, just put your hair in a really high, lose, top knot), I find that it gives me much more voluminous roots in the morning (I have curly hair, but my roots are naturally really flat, it's so annoying)

Sanne Borgt: I also love triangle hair!! Always fun explaining that to my hairdressers when they suggest thinning it out to avoid triangle hair that that is my actual goal ahhah My question with these curls and brush outs is always: how do you keep it overnight for a second day? Do you discard? Do you roll it up again?

Tina: I love this look on you! It always takes time to get used to a very new hairstyle but I definitely think this works for you

g g: I followed your past pin curl diaries with the foam rollers last week with my short hair so I'm so happy to see this video! When i did the brush out I just had no idea if it looked good or correct lol edit- ok so i finished the video and our hair looked very similar in the end

Aysha Hudeib: I loved that "evening look" hair, when the curls dropped a bit. It looked so glamorous. Also what was in the spray bottle when you were rolling your hair?

Sheryl Z: I know it doesn't help when it's not your thing, but you look really adorable with the "flip" that you get naturally Isn't it so true that we always want what we don't have!

Hazeleyeartist: I love it! Very Zelda Fitzgerald when you first brushed it out. After it relaxed it looks more 1930s. After you brush it out run a VO5 or a light oil to smooth the ends a bit. I also think it looks good straight. The flip out looks like you styled it that way.

Hevynly1: That is just DARLING! I think putting the heavier side in a victory roll or large pincurl would have been super cute too! Your short hair is making the pincurl outcome look super legit. Nicely done!!

Sarah Do: I LOVE THIS LOOK ON YOU! You rock this hair girl!!!

Carnifax: It looks gorgeous on you. The first combing looked almost exactly like the perm my mom used to have in 1980/1990's, though :D

Holly Brooke: I think it looks beautiful especially at the end of the day. Very “natural glamour” look. I love it.

Singing_Sunflower: Love the look! I started experimenting with curling my hair with rollers too and my hair is kind of the same length as yours, so I'd love a comeback of the pincurl diaries :) What is the stuff you spray in your hair when you're putting in the rollers? I used mousse on wet hair, but the really vintage-y curls only stayed for 1 day that way...

Still Gaming™: You are like a hair magician! Was very interesting to watch the full process start to end, and I think the end result looks great!

maartje vos: I really like the way the curls turned out on you. It suits you well. The hair flipping is because of the length it has now, your shoulders make it flip. a few cm shorter should prevent it. And if you don't want to go any shorter I used to dampen my hair and blowdry (not even high heat) it inwards with a round brush. Had to do it almost daily but it was quite quick. Just a tip, if ever the scarf is to warm or inconvienent to wear, Etos sells cotton hairnets that keep my foamrollers perfectly in place for the night.

Nicole Hubbard: I think the style looks beautiful on you. I grew up in the 70s and 80s, and cut my hair from shoulder length to a pixie when I was 15 years old. I think I've had just about every length hair you can have. I always go back to short because, for me, it is low maintenance. But I've had sooooo much practice. Right now, I have a jaw length bob. I wash in the evening and let it air dry. In the morning I run a flat iron through really quick to smooth it out (I have straight hair but plenty of cowlicks). Or I use that same flat iron to put in some waves. I'll spend a little extra time and use a curling iron if I want it to look a little more glam. Having a great hairdresser who really listens to my routine and understands how to cut my straight, thick, finely textured and brittle hair helps a lot. The cut is everything if you want low maintenance short hair.

Michelle K: I loved both on you (tighter in morning and looser in evening)! I felt like it suited you so well! Obviously, you need to feel comfortable in the style, but it was cute in the morning and glamorous in the evening. Maybe try it with a nice clip on the side or maybe a small roll? I would love to see the next day after sleeping on it. It’s inspiring me to cut my hair shorter! Thank you for sharing!

ana maria: I think it really suits you! :) I think it looks even better than the straight hair! It looks very elegant and sophisticated!

Jennifer Mullan: When I had a bob I found the bathrobe tie method was too long and a bit of a hassle. Using a silky/satin square scarf worked, put into a triangle then rolled. Once you wrap the hair and secure with a bobble, I then cross the section at the back and then around to to top of my head and tie into a wee bow. It gave less frizz too. Loving your short hair.

Violet: I love how shorter hair is framing your face its beautiful ☺️

piX0une: I think you look lovely with this brushout ! It has a very 1920's feel which suits your face really well ! (no matter what those face shape guides may say...)

Elaine Bye: The cut can make a difference in how the hair hangs. A professional cut might give you the curl under you want. The said, I've the vintage looks you achieved in this video! Especially the evening one. Just slightly bigger curls might do it. I vote for more "Pin Curl" Diaries.

Lèmon Lēe: Literally freaking adorable and perfect.

Anonymous Mouse: It's definitely cute enough on you to wear everyday!!!

Jill St.Clair: I loved it!! I don't know much about styling hair but from what I remember as a little girl, you might be wrapping the rollers too tight. I had thought you shouldn't crush the foam around the clip, just lay the hair on top. Maybe that would also help the curls be a bit looser? Either way, I love it!

Julie Kozlowski: I absolutely loved it on you even with the outfit you had on in the beginning. So glamorous and vintage. Love that cut on you!!!

StephBer1: You look gorgeous. My Mum, who used curlers until she passed in her 80s, had this exact style (it was her era). She would brush her hair at night and after the curlers but the rest of the time she combed it. The comb just flattened it and gave it that gloss.

Ida Marie Christensen: Oh, it's looking so good! I just watched the Glambassador's video on her wet set, and it has changed my curls completely!!

Christena Gervais: I really love how it looks so vintage! I think you can pull it off!

shellsbellswac: I like this on you! It turned out beautifully! Perhaps a clip back on one side would make you feel more confident about how it shapes your face? I honestly love this look!

Rachel Smith: Love the look at the end of the day once you comb out, I wonder if using bigger rollers on the front bang section would get to this look faster than waiting for it to relax by the end of the day

Sissi DG: Am I the only one who loves and seeks to cultivate the outward-flipping ends on my hair? So 60's. The easiest vintage look ever, haha.

Marina Sousa: I love the Pin Curl diaries!!!! Great job Lucy!

pitulanek: You look phenomenal in this brush-out! Honestly, like an old-timey film star magically transported into our times ;) What's more, I want it! The hairstyle, I mean. I think I'll try it if I find those foam rollers somewhere (they seem to sell mainly those stupid velcro-like once where I'm at and those are just useless or maybe I just don't know how to use them).

Alicia B.: It's very cute and it suits you very, very well. It also looks very authentic to the 30s, not at all in a grandma way but in a glamorous young-model-in-a-shampoo-ad kind of way

Martine: You are lucky. When my hair was that length, one side curled out and the other curled in and no amount of work changed that for more that a few hours! I think your hair looks pretty that way and it suits you well :)

Agi Magi: I love these curls on you! Very fun and cute! What were they like on day two after sleeping on your hair without recurling?

Niki V: I switched from robe curls to sock curls when I cut my hair off. Not a huge difference but you can flip the end of the sock around the end so it holds better. And more sections is how you get the shorter hair to go around it. I do four.

Anonymous Person: Okay, that hair looks fantastic on you. Also, you look like my mum in the best possible way

Gabriel Hanssens: funnily enough my mom who was a perm specialised hair stylist from the late 70s to the early 90s would always mentions a "comb out" instead of a "brush out" you do have more controle with a brush and i have a less fluffy more sculpturaltype of curl when i use a comb

EcoEnvious: Running a damp comb through it might help it relax sooner. I also have shoulder length hair and find it suits me better. I used to be a die hard long hair fan. I have been putting aloe gel in my wet hair at night, then twisting it before bed. Then in the morning I have beachy waves that last one day.

Alexandra S.: awh ❤ this style suits you so well! i have a heart-shaped face and i want to give this style a go ❤

gipsie100: I think your hair came out really well, I think you can wear it during the day even after the first brush out you did after taking out the rollers.

Kelly Rose: This is making me want to chop my hair; it's so long that pincurls take literally DAYS to dry, and I miss the curls! You look so cute!

HeuteNachtIstMeinTag: Yes, more short hair videos! It scratches my itch to cut off my own hair XD

Grimm Munro: My mom had that hairstyle, looks lovely on you.she always used sylvercrine in a tube to calm it down.i think you can still buy i just a couple of dabs in your hands rub together and rub in hair, gives a nice shine. Xx

Madalina S.: It looks really good on you. Gives me Agatha Christie/vintage archeologist vibes.

Victoria Sellitto: This is my first time to this channel. And I this you did a great job and it’s super cute. I agree the when bobs grow out the flip is annoying, but as a hairdresser I will let you know that it also is the way it’s cut. The way my bob is cut only flips at the back when hits the shoulder never the front.

ParisTexas: The short hair looks great on you and this brush out also looks really good!

Sophie Potvin: Hi! I like the bob on you . To shape the front for a more glamour look, you can take metal hair clips and form the waves. You can also put on pomade, to reduce the frizz and soft everyhting.

irma11189: Omg i love it. I have shot hair as well, i have tried doing vintage style cuz i tough it was too short, now i see that i can work!!! Ill try it this weekend

Cheryl Kavanagh: Lucy, I love your shorter hair. I actually like the flip up. It looks good on you. So sorry that you do not care for it. The flip up is what your hair is doing naturally. A professional cut may help give you the look that you are seeking.

Ilse de Mucha: I think your natural hair looks super cute too :)

Kaytie J: Managing shorter hair is all about the proper cut. This should suit your hair type and growth pattern. Also understanding the difference between what you want and what suits your hair.

Meadowbird: Lucy, heatless robe curls will absolutely work on your hair length and curl both front and back if you use the criss cross method. Milabu did a great video showing the technique. She uses a silk rod but you can definitely use a robe tie. https://youtu.be/oTh-fowlK68 It takes a bit of practice but it’s a total game changer for curling front and back, especially if you like that more modern curl look sometimes!

Makeup Mel: I think the style looked amazing!

Mikki B: I think whether short or long hair requires more styling for you depends on the hair type you have. I have very thick, frizzy hair that absolutely requires me to do curly girl when it's long, but chopping it off makes it so much more tame and I get a flattering, messy wave. I don't even have to touch it when I get up in the morning, I'm never going back! My sister has a much different hair texture though and that was not the case for her when her hair was short, she had to style it every day.

Devan Carpenter: Looks adorable on you! Your hair looks so shiny and healthy, too. Are you still using Function of Beauty?

Sandra Jones: So cute and I love the ends flipped out!

Sarah Krol: It looks amazing on you. I could never.

Stacy Lorraine: I love the curls on you, very elegant. How did your curls last for the next day?

Theresa M: You did a beautiful look❤️ You remind me of Amalie Tautou in the movie Amélie If you ever go shorter with the French Bob that would be pretty on you too❤️

Linda Bullock: I think your hair looks fabulous and suits you really well Lucy…

Cristina Cabello: My hair is straight as yours and I had the same problem, it will "flare out" because it's length, I shortened to a Bob cut and now my hair is bone straight, I wash it, detangle it and I'm good to go!

Sandra Klary: I think it looks really cute!!! <3 How did it look the next day?

Carla Wright: In the beginning of the brush out I thought you kind of looked like Gene Wilder in Charlie and The Chocolate Factory. It was funny and cute but obviously turned out great. Truly I love the way your natural hair flips up very 60s bob style I wouldn't mess or obsess with it too much it looks very healthy and flattering.

Rachel Floyd: I do a perm. Wash, gel, air dry and go. On non washing days, I bush through and spritz with water to revive the curls. Works perfect, no fuss!

nyanniachan: layered hairstyle would fix the flipping problem. i have the same hair type and it works great with layers

Daxxydog: If mine looked like that with no effort, I’d be golden. I get naturally frizzy hair, no matter what.

Nessa: It looks super cute! I think it suits you :D

Lizabeth Shelberg: I am a former professional hairstylist. The vintage roller set would look cute if you were dressed vintage and you were going for that look from head to toe. However your hair style before the curlers is absolutely gorgeous! I love the wispy bangs! I love the flip look on your shape of face. It' very classy with your deep rich brunette color.I really liked it better with the side part. I know you said you hate it.I think it looks amazing with your coloring and face shape! Very classy looking!.I'd stay with your wash and wear look!

april elliott: loving the curls on you! sassy and cute

Amber Ortolano: I think this hairstyle absolutely suits your face shape!! To heck with the “rules”!!!!!

D: The short hair really suits you, it looks so heathy and thick

Josie A: My hair does this too when ever I straighten it. I guess it just naturally curls where it’s sitting. I don’t hate it.

Marebear: I love this hairstyle on you

IkeaMarie Jernigan: It looks great

Rara Avis: Hahaha ...had to come back, because I clicked on Rachel Maksy's new video next and it literally starts with: 'Is my hair triangular enough? Yes? Good...'. Lol. Makes me question my life choices, since I've been spending the last 20 years fighting triangular hair

YourFavoriteVegan: Your hair is so beautiful and healthy looking
