Hey guys welcome back to my channel, it's your girl, niecey, the beauty icon. So today i'm going to show you how i'm going to do a quick, weave, shortcut, pixie cut. It'S lots of details in this video, so stay tuned i'll, be using the adora brand purple rage and platinum colors on the 613 of the janet collection, pixie cut pack. So as we begin to jump into it, you see i already pre-braided her hair and i'm going around her size with the nairobi satin foam and after that i used the rapid styling strips to wrap her sides while she sit under the dryer. So after i do this, i take a rectangle cut out of my weaving net and i place it on top of her hair. Now the weaver net acts as a barrier that keeps the glue from adhering directly to the hair. So once i do this, i use a red cap to place on top of the weaving net and the weave cap acts as a second barrier to keep the glue from adhering directly to the hair. Now, once i do this, i set a gel coat on top of the hair and i thoroughly coat the hair and make sure that all areas that would possibly have glue on it are covered. Next, we place her under the dryer for a few minutes for the gel to harden on top of her hair, and this also helps protect the hair from the glue. So now that she's dry i like to take my 30 second hair bond glue and just outline the cap to make sure it doesn't lift or roll. So now that everything is set, we can go ahead and cut the excess cap off, and once we do this, we can go ahead and take down our wrap strips. So, with the shorter length hair, i always preset the glue and um here you see me holding the hair and i'm using three tracks at a time, so um just making sure that there's equal enough space in between each track. I place the tracks straight on the on the glued areas and i press down and hold now so so. The goal here is just laying the track from one end of the cap to the other, going straight across the head. Now you see me using a shorter piece on top and the only reason i use this piece is because i'm using the excess that was left from the previous piece. I'M not cutting them short, i'm just using all the hair, but the ideal is to get almost like a a headband. It'S a! U! But it's a to be. I look at it like a headband just going across the head. Now you see me curving just a little bit more as i get toward the back, and the only reason i'm curving more is because i want to begin to form a circle pattern from the back and that circle pattern just allows me to work. My way up to the center portion, to where i'm gon na place my closure, and even here you still want to use the three tracks at a time just to keep the tracks close as possible, so there's no gaps in between the tracks. It also helps expediate. Your weaving process wow so now that it's close enough, i'm ready to install my closure and i'm showing you the the closure piece that comes with the hair and i'm taking the white glue instead of the black glue. Only because if it starts seeping just a little bit, you want to make sure that it appears clear. Okay and now that that's done, i'm using my conair pro silverberry blow dryer just to ensure that it's um dry and it won't slip. Then you see me take my ion flat irons and i just kind of straighten out the hair. So i can get a definite of what the hair really looks like. Okay, now that that's complete, i'm going in with my tinkle razor and i'm just going to kind of just give a foundational outline of what the cut's supposed to look like, and you notice as i outline the hair, i'm not just going in blunt cutting. I'M kind of starting midway and just working my way down that way. It has a natural feel towards the end of the hair, so wow one. So now i got an ideal foundation cut. I can go in and play some highlighted pieces which is uh the more of the purple rays, just to highlight that bang area and i did use the longer pieces in the box to color the purple rage color, just to use as highlight pieces to make the Veins fuller and to add, accentuate that section. So here you see me taking my twinkle razor and just kind of doing, like a graduated cut going longer towards the front, while i'm using my previous cut section to be my guide, taking the hair from shorter to longer lengths going toward the face, and even though I didn't record the whole thing cut. I did it across the back of the head as well as the side. So now i'm taking my nairobi foam, so i can set the hair and make sure that everything is uniform and smooth. Okay, now that she's dry, i'm using a method that my sister stylist, miss tara may of t-mac studios, have taught me - and here i use my thinning shears to point cut at an angle, and this helps texturize the hair and soften the look here guys. This is what my thinning shears look like, so so, once this is done, i can go in and just line her up and that will complete the cut. So i take my btz smooth criminal, blowout balm and just kind of put a little shine in the hair, and once this is done, i use my essential lacquer that i use for every style just about to just give the hair a soft or firm hole. So now that i'm curling, i just curl everything going forward and as i curl like, you see me kind of just move the hair over to the side just a little bit so that i can go to the next section and just give it that that height Up under the curl as well as or should i say, volume up under the curl um just so it can create that height that we need uh. Here everything is pretty much uniform, i'm still curling it going forward, but just more so going toward the the side of the hair um just pulling it up, as i curl just to create a little volume. And basically, the goal is just to keep everything smooth and neat and also for the shorter length hair, i'm using my one inch red tourmaline ceramic flat iron. Now you notice, as i get closer to the back, i'm pretty much curling the hair uh in that circle of same circular pattern that we track the hair in and just trying to create a a more of a natural flow and, as i curled on this, the Opposite side, i'm doing the same thing, but bringing the hair the opposite way and for all you guys who don't know. This is my sister, my biological sister, my big sister um, and she did our own makeup too. She is one of my top models uh, since we were little girls. She always pushed me to be great to experiment on her. She always let me oops at times, and you know at times that i got it. She would celebrate me she would fuss at me. If i ain't get it right um, but i just thank god for the opportunity to be able to do something that i love dearly on my sister and she allowed me to do whatever i really want to do so. Thank you, india, or should i say, because that's what we called it for years wow come on down. I do like the way that these colors have came together. This was my first time ever trying these colors. It was another idea, god had given me a lot of times. I pray about things, and god show me things in my dreams. So you know just to actually see it. Come to life is a blessing to me, especially with this being my first attempt. Sometimes i do get a little shock, seeing the colors and wondering if it's going to come out right, but just to actually see it come to. Life is truly amazing, and i appreciate the opportunity of faith that god gives me when i take it and see the results and not just in doing hair and coming up with ideas, but in life in general. You know it's just one of the things you have to have faith for it a lot of times. We can't see where he's taking us, but once we get there we'll be like okay, and now that everything is completed, you can just comb it out and whatever you feel you do so i hope you guys enjoyed my video, don't forget to like and subscribe and Hit your post notification button for more updates. Also, don't forget to comment below to tell me what other videos you would like to see me do. Thank you guys so much you be blessed. You
