Hello, beautiful people - it's robin thomas here with resemble me by robin - welcome back to my channel all right so on today, i'm going to be installing some small bob knottless box braids on one of my returning clients and you've actually just seen her in one of my Previous uploads, i did that style um in some time. In the summer time it was either june or july. I can't remember, i think it was july, actually um so yeah, so that video is a little old, but i just got a chance to upload it. So if you have not got a chance to watch it um after you watch this one i'll make sure to link it in the description box. So you can take a look at that and that video is about peekaboo box braids. So if you're interested in that, i will definitely leave the link below in the description box, but for today we are doing small knotless bob box braids. So i am going to be showing you my number one technique that i use. I don't have to worry about. My fingers burning um too much of this handling with a lighter or with fire at all. I don't use fire at all whenever i'm doing my um creating the bob portion of the box braids. So if you are interested in how i do so definitely stay tuned. All right, so i'm going to be using expressions hair. This is the hair that i love to use. I prefer to use it. I have three packs and these three packs are actually going to end up being split into two bundles each. So i end up having six bundles of hair. This is the hair straight out the pack. It is very, very long, take that off so for the first bundle of hair. I am going to be so right now it's cut in half, so i'm going to be prepping the bundles for the very back of the install, which does not need to have hair as long and the very front or the top of her um head. The top of the install, so the hair is already split in half. Instead of cutting it straight down the middle. What i'm going to do is i was gathering my scissors. What i'm going to do is take a little bit more. I don't even know how many inches i would say this is, but i'm going to take a little bit more, so maybe like a fourth or so of the other side, and then i'm going to cut it there. So this is a shorter bundle. This bundle is going to be the one that i use for the very back of her head and this bundle is going to be the one i use for the very, very top okay. I like to do it this way, so i don't have to like stretch out the hair or anything, because we don't need um. We don't we're going to be burning the ends, so it doesn't matter that the ends are blunt, so i just do it like that. For the other two packs, i'm going to open it and split it in half okay, so we are starting off with blown out hair. I know y'all seen her in the last video. She had a number 1b in 30., so her stylist taylor, hair by t angie on instagram, has um dyed her hair, this burgundy color, so we're gon na go with burgundy, although burgundy is like really red like when it comes to hair, that's burgundy, but i feel, Like the packaged burgundy hair is like really burning, i feel like with this one we probably should have went like a 99 j or something, but the package said burgundy. So that's why i got burkitty anywho. So the first thing that you want to keep in mind when it comes to um doing bob box braids is the length of the person's hair okay. So you want to make sure that the hair is long enough to braid, of course, but short enough. You see how i'm checking the length of it short enough to where it will not mess up the client's hair when creating the bob effect. Now there are people who will like if a person's hair is like too long they're like pre-braided and folded, i'm not doing it. Okay, i'm telling you right now, i'm not doing all of that, because, if we being honest who gon na pay for that, because if i charge you twice for doing twice the work, you know what i'm saying i have to pre-bray, that's like kind of like not Doing full, but it's in the same family as like the faux locs. You got ta braid the base and you got to go back so normally i see people like braid. It then like crochet it to tuck. It then go over the braided, that's too much. So for me, if your hair is not short enough, i personally don't even do it. I don't want to even have the problem of possibly messing your hair up, not me all right, so you want to make sure that the person's hair is short long enough to braid, but short enough, so that you can create the bob effect when it comes to Burning the ends, you never want to burn the ends. Well, we'll get to the ends alright. So what you see me doing here is i'm going to create about three braids at the very back of her hair. Excuse me of her head. Creating these three braids does two things: one which is like the most important you've seen the length of her hair. The length of her hair is too long for the lint bob that she would like. Okay, so one is making sure that her hair is completely secure. Okay, none of this hair would be braided that i'm braiding into these um cornrows right now is making sure that her hair will not be damaged from the heat from burning the ends of the hair of the actual braids to create the bob effect. One two y'all know how sometimes it'd be like real. I mean just real bumpy in the back like super. It'S like somebody put they cuff their hand and put it in the back of the braids like it'd, be so puffed out like it's not like a clean straight down bob, but instead it's like a hump in the back that helps not have that ugly ugly hump In the back, so those are two things to remember: making sure that your hair is not going to be damaged when we are creating the bob effect and two is very sleek and not bulky in the back. So that is why i create these three um braids in the back and the however many braids i created in the back or cornrows really just it's normally about three, but it just appears. Excuse me it's five o'clock in the morning. It just depends on the um. The length of the actual client's hair, you know, am i able to get it into this braid. Basically, it's all that it is. You know what i'm saying. We know the nape sometimes to be shorter, so can i get into this braid or not so it'll? Be about two three to four braids really just depending on the length of the client's hair foreign. Over the years i have learned like with doing my box braids. I used to do it like right at the ear like right when um you're about to come all the way around starting at the front of the head, all the way to the back, i mean not the back all the way to the other side so, like The under the temple literally the very front you know when you're creating like a cornrow going straight to the back, so i've learned to for disguising purposes of those braids in the back, to make sure that i have enough room to make one solid row before i Go around so that just helps continue to camouflage those braids but still helps keep it full and we'll get um even more into that as the video goes along. So what you're going to see me do? Um after i have completed the braid, i'm going to go ahead and um spritz her hair with some roots mist and then i'm gon na go ahead and oil. It because i'm done with this section right or i will be done with this section, so i'm gon na braid, her hair, all the way down, i'm going to do the little moisture routine in the back and then when i finished that you're going to see me. Take the crochet needle and crochet her hair into her braid. Okay. I do this so that it don't move. You know, i don't want her to have to think about that. One little piece - that's possibly coming out and you'll, see the way that i crochet it helps to keep it confused so that um, even if she does a little hard scratch or something it won't really disturb that braid. That'S back there, okay, even when it comes to washing this stuff, like this, so having it crocheting in the way that i do um helps it to stay in place until they are absolutely ready to take it down. My so all right. So, as i just mentioned, i like to have one roll before going all the way around um of braids. This helps with the again camouflaging those braids in the back and the more that you braid the more that the back will be camouflaged. But you do have to make sure that you don't put away too much hair. But you have to put enough hair away um for the two things to make sure that you um whenever you're, creating your bob effect um. I said it yeah, i'm not gon na repeat myself, so anyways keep on braiding keep on braiding. I find myself rambling sometimes so i just decided to stop all right, so i'm braiding and i'm braiding. Now, when i braid, i do like to go down a little bit further than i know the bob that i'll be creating, so i'm braiding on braiding - and you even see me like stop right there, um, i'm really. What i do hold on is. I take a clip and i clip it so this helps with time this helps for keep having to like go back. Let me stop getting ahead of myself. Okay, i'm sorry y'all it's like early and i'm just trying to get this done before somebody wakes up all right, and i literally just heard one of my sons so yeah, so i'm braiding and i'm braiding and i use that clip to kind of hold that into Place um so that the hair does not unravel so i'm installing my knotless box braids, like i normally would i braid down and i braid past um, where i know for sure i'm going to be burning the ends so two things that you have to remember. Whenever you are doing this part - and this really helps me um for this - so you have to keep in mind where the client's hair stops and i like to do all of this stuff as i'm braiding, so that i don't have to go back and remember so. I don't have to go back and look. You know i try to make sure that i took the ends of the client's hair, so i want to make sure that um, i'm not going to be able to see exactly where it ends like. I have a roundabout and i kind of remember like when i stretched your hair, but i want to be for sure i want to be for certain, so i braid the hair down. I take that clip and i just clip a couple of braids together. However, many braids will stay in that clip until i'm ready to um remove that clip to set it to go on to the next couple of braids or so so, yeah braiding pads, making sure i'm braiding pads well past the client's hair. If you have a client's hair, who is just as almost to where you want to create the bob, you want to make sure okay, you braid and you're braiding your braid, you pass at least and tell them if it's your client, if it's yourself look at that, Mirror and say: listen, you don't compromise your hair for a style okay, so you want to make sure that you braid at least an inch at least an inch past, the client's hair, okay. Putting that clip there helps to like for the hair not to like unravel you know, because i'm not braiding it all the way down to the ends. So it helps it to not unravel something to know that it will unravel a little bit. It'S because it's not set, you know what i'm saying so it'll still kind of loosen up a little bit, which is why too, i try to go really really fast, um, where i know that i'll be also burning the client's hair. So this i'm probably going to go up like half of that to even create the bob effect right. So yeah you just want to make sure of those few things. Once i get to the point where i can't add any more braids to the clip, i take a rubber band and i go ahead and i rubber band that section again to kind of help, keep that together, so that it doesn't unravel. I try my hardest to not have to go back to re-braid now. What i will say is, i always seem to have to you know just a little bit, even with um, with these braids or with doing bob box braids. But for the most part i don't have to go back and before i'm going to burn the ends, re-braid a whole bunch of them. So, depending on how far down you braid the hair, you won't have to worry about that at all so braid down, you know a good amount um to make sure we're covering those things that we just discussed. If you need a reminder, rewind um, so yeah. So i'm going to literally do this for the um entire install as i'm working, and i am right now using the shortest bundle i'm using the shortest bundle, because i know that i will not need a lot of the hair. If i were to use this bundle in the front or even in the middle, i would really be um coming to a problem of, am i going to be able to um create the boba fett? Am i going to have to add some more hair in? There? Is it going to be nice and sleek the thing i love about bob box braids, you don't really have to like stretch out the hair prep of the hair, because you never need the entire length, but that makes the hair extremely um consistent throughout the entire. Throughout the entire um install, so there's no thinning there's, no none of that. It'S just straight just thickness. The thickness at the top is the same thing. That'S at the bottom. It helps keep it extremely extremely full. You don't have to worry about too much of a cleanup and we'll get more into detail when it comes to that too much of a cleanup at the end um. So yeah i'm going to let you all continue to watch that as i braid and then we'll come back. My oh it's about to be good y'all. I had to go and put some blood on my hands for this one make sure my hands went ashy as i revealed this life hack that you're about to get okay, you think it's not gon na be burning. You ain't got ta worry about that constant flickering! You know of the lighter and dealing with actual fire, but you are going to be able to create the bob look. So i have all of the hair sectioned off. You know pre-sectioned, as i was braiding it um, and you can kind of see how it's like loose towards the ends of the braid. So that was that's. What i was talking about. The braids are kind of going to unravel a little bit, so my hope was to get it. You know braid past long enough to where i won't have to re-braid. But again i i'm going to have to erase some um some of the ends to make sure that i'm that the bob is where i want it and how i want it. So i'm just sectioning off everything that i'm not using to the side and boom a flat iron think about it, y'all a flat iron. It gets so freaking hot. So this is a flat iron that i have i bought from like stein mart. When i was working there like six seven eight years ago, it only has an on and off which lets. You know that it gets hot af, it gets so hot and it doesn't matter you know, because we're working with weave hair we're trying to burn it. So i feel like this actually was like the best one like it's like the best alternative to use that flat iron was like 20. You don't have to get there. You can go to like sally's they'll have like 20 little small 30 ones that don't have like a temperature gauge um. I don't use my other flat irons because i use those for like hair, so using this super cheap. One is literally specifically for burning my bobbins and i've had this, i'm telling you like six, seven or so years, all right, so i am going to undo my rubber band and i am just going to find exactly where i want to place her bob now. Her hair ends about right there, so i, as i told you, i want to go down to make sure that i'm not um disturbing her hair or close to it at all. Okay and another thing you have to think about too: sometimes people hair at the top is longer, so you have to make sure, when you're starting your bob, that you're making sure that the hair, the client's hair isn't longer than where you're creating your bob. If that makes sense, so i knew that her hair was all about the same length, which means that laying down standing up is the same length. So laying down is going to get shorter and shorter. You know that's just because how our head is shaped, so anywho y'all. I was really sitting up here like okay. Why is this not working so when i turn my studio light off for some reason, those outlets, some of the outlet? Oh, i just realized. Why they're two different outlets so because i was like, why does my ring light still work, but nothing else like i'm really up here like? Why is this not working? Why is this not working, but my light was off so that i could like zoom in or really focus in with the ring light um. So i had to turn on my light to turn it down manually, so i can still get about the same effect. All right so now that it's going to be on it's gon na get really really really really hot. I'M telling you i love using these um little 20 ones because, like i said it doesn't, have a temperature gauge, which means that it gets extremely hot. You know what i'm saying so you know what's going to get the job done, so all i do is let it sit there. One and two. I like this small skinny one. Instead of a big fat, one um like a regular flat iron. We use to do a silk press on our hair because and it's still heating up too guys um, because i can see what i'm doing i can see what's going on, i don't need to flat iron that whole little section. You know what i'm saying. I only need this one little part, so i'm holding it there you're gon na see how fast it actually goes with when i'm doing the um other braids. Once it's heated up, so i'm holding it there, i'm trying to make sure that it's going to be um hot enough to where i can just kind of when i cut it. I can just pull it off when i use my scissors to cut through. I can just pull it off now or i'll get there when i get there well i'll say it now, so you want the hair to be melted, so you see how it's like basically melted. I can pull at it a little bit right. So that's how i know it's ready to be cut, so i burn it enough to where, when i cut it, i'll still have some burnt ends at the top of the the top of the burnt part, but which is actually the bottom of the braid. So the part that i'm messing with right now so that i can still have a little burnt in right there. You want to make sure that when you're cutting you're not cutting off too much of the burnt end part okay, so i'm getting all of these together and i'm lining it up with the braid that i just did and i'm actually i don't know if you can Tell right now, but i'm bringing them to um to the back, so i'm making sure that they're lined up with the one that i did. I i don't think i'm explaining that very well, or at least let me say right now - you're not able to see what it is, i'm trying to explain so yeah. I just continued to do this and what i will say is i recorded the whole me creating the bob for the whole head. I know that's something for me that i like to see. You know what i'm saying, because for whatever reason i may have a question. I may have you know, um or something i feel like i need to, or i have a question about something. If i can see it, you know what happens when you get to this side. What happens when you get to the top? What happens when you get to the front? How you do that? How you do that? I know that sometimes with youtube videos, it's almost like they skip that one part you really want to know, so i try to um i'm gon na try to make well doing this. I hope that you can see every single little thing, so you can go to. How does she get the front to do that? Well, how does she you know or whatever so yeah i have all of those together and i just use my scissors to kind of clip away whatever i don't want it's best to do it. When it's um, it's melted. It gets a little harder, but it's definitely not inevitable at all to um clip it if it gets hard if it gets really hard like if you're just creating the bob and you're leaving those like leaving them together. Like say, i'm doing these two and i don't go ahead and immediately cut it. You'Re, just gon na have to put a little bit of back into it. That'S all! So if it dries on you completely and it's not like loose and gunky you don't really have to, you know worry about it too much. I just like to go ahead and do it because i can create go ahead and you know pinch those ends and create that um the ends how i want to as opposed to letting the ends. You know, i guess kind of create themselves, so i try my hardest to keep it very aligned, but i'm not necessarily um. They don't all have to be exactly the same limp. So my idea on it is, you know how sometimes you'll see um people or stylists. Instead of doing a blunt cut like they're having their arms or hands horizontally, and instead it's vertically and they have their they're clipping the ends because they want it blunt, but they also don't want it like to blend cut. So to me, this just creates a little. Not worrying so much on it creates um, make it a little bit more edgy. For me, i personally like like edgy, i don't i'm more of the the bump ends are cool, but i like pretty much like me. I, like more of the straight ends, the edgy. Look and you'll see what i'm talking about. I mean you've seen the beginning video when i showed you the end results but um. If you like, follow me on instagram, if you've seen like my bob or even my bob when i've you know been on these videos um, i like more of the straight edgy look, but with this you can also get the um the plump look like the bob. The curled ends. Look, i lose my worries so much when i'm talking anywho. So i just every time i just take one of the sections. I make sure that the braid is super straight. I place it over um the row that i've just did. I try not to skip like any rows. I try to make sure i'm doing it in some type of order. I burned those, so i'm able to get those little four in that and that one swoop you see, i have those four braids in there. It just helps it just helps section off, so no i'm not doing every individual one you can, if you want to this, just makes time go by faster and it helps you know, make sure that most of them are cut at the exact same length. If that makes sense, so i'm just going to keep going and i'll pop in. I guess when i feel like i need to say something, so you guys continue to watch but also continue to listen, because i may have something you know what i'm saying to say. I want you guys to know okay guys today. I want you to write down a goal all right when you write down this goal. I want you to think about what steps you're going to take to achieve this think real long and hard, and then i want you to think about the kind of obstacles that you're gon na face. How do you overcome those obstacles, then we're gon na show what we got. Okay, guys is, mr pennington. I hope you will it's been forever. Since i see you you, the dope is still. I still see you vivid the way you drew out on pictures. The way you taught was descriptive, you made me feel, like i lived at the moors and battles them ships and shackles, your awkward appearance. Now i ain't this and i missed it down from your hoodies to your colorful socks. You taught the past. We gave my future all these colorful thoughts, but since you left, it's like that, color been dark. Don'T like that color a lot - and i don't want you out here - thinking we mad, but we think about you daily man. We missing you bad, don't feel the same when we sit in that class. Now, i'm just sitting at the past. I wrote this email to ask man. Will you ever? I know your music is? Is mr pennington? I wish you well. My son told me you leaving. I don't believe it's real there's, no way you walking out when you see that they need. You is no way that you leaving school man. I beg - and i plead you reconsider, try to remember when you was a youngin out here, acting foolish, who came and changed the world and even challenged how you viewed it now. Imagine if that teacher never met you chasing music, and i know that sounds bizarre, but from afar that's what you doing, man, how many kids you inspire! How many faces you light up, how you glow, brighter and brighter you touch they soul with good fire. They self-esteem getting higher you putting gold up inside. I miss coming down to the wire. Now your decision is dire. How many? U'S do you think that they gon na come across the future in your hands? I hope that you don't pass them off. I know it's really up to you only you know your heart, but stick around and be the teacher that i know is look. Every morning i told my students that they could have whatever they wanted long as they put in work for as long as they keep moving forward it's deeper than the white board and submitting practice reports. I taught them that, even when it hurts that they could still learn to solve. Mr p, what you hit for that's what a student asked me and i said to teach you a course. He said know what you here for you should be out there on tour. You should be on the billboard, i brushed it over. Then i thought on it more. How dare i tell these kids jump if i'm too scared to leave? I tell them reach for the stars, but act like they out of reach, i'm telling them to chase their dreams, but i won't move my feet to make that feed too scared of what it costs and i won't pay that fee. I have the leader finding me that i see lying deep within i quit teaching to teach myself that i'm worth believing in. I don't want the kids thinking that i turn my back to him. I plan to teach him more than i could in that classroom. All right, so this is a good one to show that sometimes you know you do have to braid a little bit more down but think about it. It did not unravel all the way up or even more than you know what i'm saying what it is now for me. I do like to go very very much past. You know what i'm saying so that i can um, so i can make sure i'm not worried at this point. I'M not worried about the length of her hair because her hair is nowhere near. You know where we're going to be burning it in. So i'm not thinking about that. Only thinking about do i have enough hair to create the super sleek um, seamless, braid, before going down um into the bob or while creating the bob, okay, so sometimes yeah. You may have to go back and braid down a little bit more, but you want the style to be nice and neat and put together all right. So another thing that i want to go ahead and point out, while i'm here you can see that braid that i even started is kind of like on the side of her head. But what you're going to see me do. I guess i would tell you there so i'm gon na you see me i'm taking it. I keep it as straight as possible and then i'm going to burn the ends of this. I'M going to do the same thing on this side. But what you're going to see me do is pull the braids back, so i'm making sure that they're flat, but i'm going to pull them back a little bit. So you see how that's on the side. Okay, i'm pulling them back, i'm keeping them straight, and then i'm going to create this. So what this is doing. This is good for people who, like so i'm doing like a soft um like a soft asymmetric bob, i'm not doing anything. That'S super long or like super super, so it's mostly blood, but it does have a little more length in the front that creates that additional length in the front so that it's not super straight coming all the way around. It creates a little more hang time once you get like to the sides and so you'll the sides of the front. You will see really see that come into effect, um well, actually, you've probably seen it at the beginning of the video. When you saw you know the turnaround, but you're going to see it again once i complete it, and actually, while i'm creating the bob, look you're going to see that like really form you're going to see that soft asymmetry like that soft, like line where it's a Little bit longer in the front you're going to see that form, so i'm just going to keep on going and again i'll pop in. If need be, oh so right there, you see how it's no braid like past, like where my thumb is. On my left hand, you can have a little bit of that hair there. It'S not going to hurt it's going to be burnt anyway. You just want to make sure that the entire the burnt end that the hair is braided all the way down. You don't want any of the like loosening that you see you see on the right side. You don't want any of that loosening before you create your before. You burn the hair for the bob effect. How many faces you light up, how you glow, brighter and brighter you touch? They show a good fire, they self-esteem getting higher you putting gold up inside. I miss coming down to the wire. Now your decision is. Do you think that they gon na come across the future in your hands? I hope that you don't pass them off. I know it's really up to you. Only you know your heart, but stick around and be the teacher that i know is. Every morning i told my students that they could have whatever they wanted long as they put in work for it long as they keep moving forward it's deeper than the white board and submitting practice reports. I taught them that, even when they heard that they could still learn a song. Mr p, what you hit for that's what a student asked me and i said to teach you a course he said know what you're here, for you should be out there on tour. You should be on the billboard, i brushed it off, but then i thought on it more. How dare i tell these kids jump if i'm too scared to leave example right, you see how it's um, there's no bulkiness, there's no um looseness and i'm saying bulkiness. There'S no looseness um right there, but i literally burned right where the braid ended and the free hair begins. So you see purty and just pull them apart. If you find them sticking together, just pull them apart. It'Ll be fine, hey, okay, guys! Today i want you to write down a goal all right when you write down this goal, i want you to think about what steps you're going to take to achieve this right think real long and hard, and then i want you to think about the kind of Obstacles that you're going to face. How do you overcome those top steps, then we're going to show what we got? Okay, guys? Mr pennington. I hope you will it's been forever. Since i see you you, the dope is still. I still see you vivid the way you drew out on pictures. The way you taught was descriptive, you made me feel, like i lived at the moors and battles themselves, your awkward appearance. No, i ain't this and i missed it down from your hoodies to your colorful socks. You taught the past. We gave my future all these colorful thoughts, but since you left, it's like that, color been dark. Don'T like that color a lot, and i don't want you out here thinking we mad, but we think about you daily man. We missing you bad, don't feel the same when we sit in that class. Now, i'm just sitting at the past. I wrote this email to ask man: will you ever come back just for a visit or something i sit and wish that you coming maybe just sit at our lunch and eat with us? I know your music is. I hope you get all you wanted, but do it all don't forget about us, then, mr pennington, i wish you well. My son told me you leaving, i don't believe it's real there's, no way you walking out when you see that they need you. It'S no way that you leaving school man, i beg, and i plead you reconsider, try to remember when you was a young out here, acting foolish, who came and changed the world and even challenged how you viewed it now. Imagine if that teacher never met you chasing music, and i know that sounds bizarre, but from afar that's what you doing, man, how many kids you inspire! How many faces you light up, how you low brighter and brighter you touch they soul with good fire. They self-esteem getting higher you putting gold up inside. I miss coming down to the wire. Now your decision is dire. How many? U'S do you think that they gon na come across the future in your hands? I hope that you don't pass them off. I know it's really up to you only you know your heart, but stick around and be the teacher that i know. Every morning i told my students that they could have whatever they wanted long as they put in work for it long as they keep moving forward. It'S deeper than the white board and submitting practice reports. I taught them that all right. So here is a better of me explaining that again, so i'm bringing it to the back right. Just soft, like you know, bring it to the back, and now i'm going to burn if you did want it to be extremely like long in the front, the further back you bring. It it'll create that effect, but you want to make sure that you're doing the same thing on both sides: okay, unless you are trying to create one side longer than the other, the key to creating um, not a super blunt, but a angled bob is to bring The hair to the back now, how much you want it angle is how far back you want to bring it. So if you know that you're going to want it really really really long, you know in the front then bring it further to the back. But the same thing you do on the right side has got to be the same thing you do on the left side. If you're trying to make it symmetrical, if you're trying to like get funky, then just do one side or do a couple or whatever the case but keeping the hair flat, but bringing it back helps you to create that hmm. I am and the words seeking a purpose and if they do, they turn shady and only cool. When you sit - and i know that filling in this worse, when you know you undo the same, that emmit is different. I know you box yourself daily fight with yourself on the red you boxing you win with that word. Maybe i know you tired of working for something you tired of slaving like haiti, when your world shook up it's enough to have you feeling shaky you walking on eggshells, no, your foundation, breaking emotions. Locked in your mind, you praying for combinations. You need some confirmation. You talk to god, but you just feel this one-way conversation you up with life digging at your soul is hard not to feel stuck. I see myself, i'm searching for my heart. How many tweets do i quote? So when all the hair is pulled back to the back, it's blunt, but when you go to put it to the front and you'll see this later, when you go to pull it to the front like after, when we're molding, our bobs you'll see that it's going To give you um it's going to be longer in the front, so it's going to give you some some ain't being personalities else 2020 with your life with pop inside myself, but it's no longer me searching. Locked in your mind, you praying for combinations. You need some confirmation. You talk to god, but you just feel this one-way conversation you feeling, but even then your steps is calculated cause shoot. You got ta make it. I know you hard on yourself. I see you never let up cause y'all, don't wan na, let down the people who bigging you up with life digging at your soul, it's hard not to feel stuck you so for these last couple, braids we did have to um. I did have to get a a little bit more hair, but, as you can see, it's the difference right. So when the hair is stretched out, i had some red hair that had been stretched for a previous install it like thins it out. It'S okay, it's the it's only a few braids, but i just want to show you the difference and then too, as you can see, it's a lot of hair that you're going to need to clean up like on those ends, but those are just the ones in The front so we have completed creating the bob, and so, as you can see, all of them to the back is super. Blunt right is one length all the way around and then, when you actually pull it on the side, it gives you a little more length in the front. So so it's very soft again, if you want it to be more dramatic, bring it back more in the back. Oh you see how the back is not bulky at all. If you would have had those rows back there, it most definitely would have been very, very clumpy in the back um. So when we go to create that bump look, it would have definitely stuck all the way out and that's something you do not want. So please please, please do those braids at the very bottom, all right, so the clean up for bob braids are pretty easy. I was trying to show y'all and i actually put it in um. Was it somatic mode? Where you can see, i was trying to show you all the little circles that sometimes the hair creates, but you can't really see it's so so small. But you know for us as braiders and artists and stuff we can see all the little imperfections so um all. I'M going to do is go through that and make sure that i'm getting those little circles that were created off of there and then those last three braids at the top um they're gon na have a little more tlc. Just because um you know, i did have to add a little hair or whatever so anywho, i'm just going through that with my scissors clipping those ends and i'm taking the roots mist i in every single style, um starting my client's, moisture, routine. Okay, so i make sure they miss their hair, really really well remember: water first oil is a sealant water. Is your moisturizer. My moisture mist has rose water with some other essential oils that help aid in blood circulation and encouragement for hair growth. Then i go in with my roots, hair and body oil um, enhanced that has in situ oils again that encourages the scalp and the hair and nourishes, and all of that good stuff. I make sure that i get the scalp and then i also put some on my hands to make sure i'm getting the length of her hair in the braids. No, you do not have to oil the entire braid, because the entire braid doesn't need um moisturizing. Only your hair is what needs moisturizing so remember that. Okay, i like to start my clients off again um on their moisture routine, so they two day three day four is when they go back to or their scalp every day they should be spritzing their hair. That'S at least my encouraging words um, but about every three two to four days, depending on the client's scalp um - and i really i just say three that every three days um to add the oil to make sure that it's sealing in that water. Okay, all right! So then i take my foam and i put it all over the end. I do this last after my moisture routine, because i want the products um to be able to penetrate the scalp and the hair before putting on the finishing touches. So all i'm doing is foaming her entire hair, all of her braids making sure to get that in everywhere and then you're going to see me um mold, the bob look create the ball, something that i tell all my clients is um. Your bonnet is going to help create that bob look. So whenever you go on to put your bunny on, i always say: wrap a scarf first around your edges. Then, when you put your bunny on it's going to create that super cooked um, look right! So the cup that i'm creating right now is going to help create that right. So it's going to be like effortless every night when you put that on and you take it off you're going to have the bob effect all right. So i'm just going to let you guys continue to watch, as i finish her style. I hope that you all really really enjoyed this video as much as i enjoyed putting it together for you. Carolyn Washington: Awesome job! Every time I see a Bob Install, it reminds me of how it’s one of my favorites.

Fiesty One: They turned out very nice. I use an old flat iron to seal the ends too. And it’s more safer for then a lighter. Good job. Thanks for another video.
