Bob Box Braids (My First Time)

This was my first time doing this style. I think I did pretty good. Tell me what you think.

Oh yeah, hey guys, so this is the hair that I will be using today for this braid Style, and this is the product that I'm using. I usually use something else, but I decided to try this one um, it's okay. I think the other, my red one that I normally use. I have to show that later on, another video um. I think that one holds a little bit more, this one's a little softer, but it still did the job and it it got the job done. So I'm actually doing a box braid Bob, which I have never done in my entire life. I'Ve always seen them done, but I was always curious as how they get that bump. Look like it's been curled, like you know, an actual Bob um. So this is a friend of mine who um asked me to do her hair and she wanted a bob look. I did not tell her that I'd never done it before and I didn't know how to, but it looked easy enough and simple enough, so I watched the video I practiced on my mannequin like one or two braids, and I saw that. I think that I can actually do it so here I am doing it so I'm just starting off with a regular, not you know, box braid and I'm just braiding down um until the length that she wants, and so I've never actually considered myself to be a Strong braider, like I don't do it all the time um and I've always seen braiders, where they braid like how I'm doing here, but they flip their their fingers over and braid. This way, I don't know if I'm making anything to you guys, but I could never braid that way. So recently, I started trying to train myself to break this way because the braid comes out a lot tighter and neater. So I'm finally glad that I was able to train myself to braid this way and continue it because now I braid a lot better um. So I know how to braid and I feel like they look. You know they look decent when I do braid, but just when I see other braiders, they just seem more. I guess like it's just second nature to them and to me I feel like I'm not like the braider, that I see how well at least, if I'm, comparing myself to others um. But you know I I get the job done. I do a good job and again, like I said this was my first time doing this and I actually don't even like doing box braids. They they get on my nerves. I hate doing box braids, but since I didn't have to braid all the way like for a long time, she didn't want them, like you know, to her knees or her ankles um. I was like yeah. I want to give it a shot because I've never done it before and I'm always ready to do something new and something different that I don't run into every single day. So I had fun doing this and I actually wouldn't mind doing it again: foreign okay. So I've seen this method to be done with a flat iron instead of the lighter, which I think is a whole lot better, and I was really thinking that all this synthetic hair would melt off and ruin the flat iron. So I got on my old flat iron just to be sure, and it actually works like perfect. So I didn't burn my finger as much as I would. If I had to wear a lighter - and I felt like the process went a lot faster and I didn't hurt my thumb while trying to flick the lighter all the time so again, this is my first time doing it. So I'm trying to be cautious and I'm just doing more braid at a time and um just really trying to seal those in so they don't come apart. So I just did a little measuring a little bit more melting with the flat iron and it really just turned out perfect. So, if you're ever curious about this method of using it with a flat iron like it really won't mess up the flat iron, it works. Just perfect, thank you, and so for me it was easier to do each row at a time so after braiding, then I would cut it and sew the ends with the flat iron instead of waiting to the end, I know I see a lot of people do That, but for me, I like to see it progress as I go and that way when I get to the end, I'm pretty much done so. I like to just take one row at a time: braid cut measure and go to the next row, foreign foreign good. I was impressed by myself so yeah. She was getting really excited by this point, so I had to block her face out because she didn't want to be um shown on camera, which is understandable um. So I always ask my clients, if it's okay for me to record and if they don't want their face to be shown, I make sure I try to record just like their hair or the back leather hair, so that um, you know so their face, isn't shown. But this one I thought I could zoom in to block her face out, but I couldn't so I had to add something but yeah. She was getting really excited about this point because she could see the Bob really starting to form foreign foreign foreign. She was like, so when was the last time you did this and I was like um. This is my first time so she was happy. You know that was my first time and that you know it turned out good. So she said she was. You know she was a little lenient on me a little bit more Slack. So tell me how I did. I thought I did pretty good.
