Hey ladies welcome back to my channel today is monday, and i'm going to be showing you how i get four different styles with a short bob, so much fun. Are you ready? Let'S get this beauty started, i'm going to start off with the kyristos. This is my blow dry cream that i love using because it's long wear control it does have a heat protectant in it or i will go into dropping everything and use my jumpstart quick, dry, blowout serum from dry bar. This is really nice too. It'S not! It doesn't weigh down my hair, that's always a big thing. I look for when it comes to blow dry, creams or putting in any styling products in my hair, because i don't need my hair is weighted down. It definitely looks weighted down. So what i like to do first, is that you've seen me in multiple videos where how i blow dry my hair, i just separate it i'm just going to put up in a tie like this i'll work with the bottom half of my hair. This is going to be my style for a classic, smooth and polished bob. I use my four in one styler that you can see that i love using with all the hair. That'S always in it impossible to get out my gray hair in in this. I do my best but um i use this and i'm going to just show you quickly how i blow dry my hair. This is the last part of my blowout. This is like getting a salon blowout with the four in one styler. This thing is so inexpensive. I got on amazon and it really makes my bob look very stylish, very sleek. If i, if i air dry, my hair, which is what i did the other day, it just looks limp and it looks just so unkept. So i always have to blow out my hair, which is nice, that this is fast and it really gives me just a perfect blowout every time. So i'm going to just finish up the last part for you. So there you have this beautiful bob. That has a lot of volume and has a lot of life to it, and it's really from my little four in one styler, now a really big tip that i do. I don't dry until it's bone dry. That would be very bad for my gray hair. So it is still here, you can see a little damp, that's fine! I want it to be like that. It'S going to dry perfectly, but this is a beautiful style. This is my first easy style if you have a short bob, so say, you're looking for some more volume or you get volume after you blow dry, your hair, and then it starts to fall. This is a tip that i have. You know that i love my velcro curlers. I have resurrected them. I brought them back to life from the 80s. I found them the other day and i was like why have i not been using these forever? So i have been seeing lots of volume, so anyone that comes into my studio for my fierce aging series gets rollers in their hair. I'M like let me just pop in a couple rollers, so this is what's really nice too. I'M going to show you. I showed you this before in one of my other videos how you can get that stain power with velcro curlers first, so usually, this is what i would do when it's a little damp still, you can spray it with a little hairspray. If you want to, i put the velcro curler in my hair, i usually use the largest ones i can find for the front part of my hair here, just use a little clip and then i it stays in. I will spritz a little bit with some hairspray. Let it set and then have coffee or do whatever i'm doing and then i'll take it out. Maybe 15 20 minutes 30 minutes, depending on how much time i have when i'm getting ready. So now, if you really want stain power, you can take a heated curling iron, and i don't have this on very high heat, though, because my you have to be very careful. The kerastase this little uh blow-dry cream that i put in, has a protection heat protection. So i am protected still right now, but i still don't like to have a lot of heat on my hair, so i will take the curling iron and i'm just going to lightly curl it like this. Take it out, so you see that curl take the velcro curler and then i'm going to set it. So i'm almost like making a hot curler, but i'm using my velcros instead. So i find this to be better for gray, hair for um, fragile, hair, thinner, hair than to be using hot rollers, because those hot rollers come out and they are very hot. At least you have the curling iron you can set. I can set this from 310. All the way up to 400, so i put on the lowest setting and then i will just just get that curve to it and then wrap it with the velcro curler right away. So this is the second way to style. A short bob like mine is to be able to use the velcro curlers to get that volume, and when you take it out, you will see that you have some beautiful volume that you didn't have. This is really the way to go is with adding some heat to it. You'Re going to have this beautiful bend, beautiful, curl, that's going to last all day, so the fourth way to style, a short bob is going to be just taking it back slick beautiful. I love wearing this with black pants, a black silk top a red lip just very sophisticated. It'S very easy, especially when you have a little texture here. So what i like to do is sometimes all before i pull it back so say i just jump out of the shower i'll put the velcro rollers in it to give it height, to give it more volume and i'll just stick those in there. So i have that volume settling in before i start taking it back so then i will keep out these little pieces or i'll just take it all back very low ponytail, because my hair is undercut. So these little pieces will come out. So i need to be as low as possible, but i don't like it to be just a regular rubber band. I don't like it to be too slick because it is short it's not going to. I will have little pieces out, so i think it looks a little bit more natural, letting my shorter pieces come out. Maybe take a piece over here. Maybe i would take it. Oh, it doesn't seem to be too curly or it doesn't seem to be too like texturized enough, so i can do that. Let it settle it's not going to be as curly. I can take these pieces if it's too short and too heavy, and it's not really going with the look. I can still have that texture just take a bobby pin and i can put that back. So it's not going to be heavy in the front and just like that hide the bobby pin. They do have silver bobby pins, believe it or not, but that's a black one can go back like this depending on piece. This out take a little texturizing spray or a gel and work the hair. So you like how it looks just very sexy and messy, but there's a lot of ways to style, a short bob and it doesn't matter if you have thicker hair. If you have thinner hair there's a lot of options that you can do, i'm telling you, ladies i've, showed you this multiple times with the velcro curlers. They do add volume if you have thin hair. If you have medium hair, if you have thick hair like i do, they really work wonders and they are for all types of hair, and i like the fact that they are not aggressive and they don't damage the hair like if you were using really hot rollers On the hair, you can almost really kind of create breakage or too much heat on the hair. It stresses the hair, so that is really some really great ways to style. A short bob to have some fun with it. To kind of do different looks a sleek bob, like i first did, which is really my go-to being able to give some texture. I was going to show you an all slick back, look but that's kind of a given. I mean that's just putting your hair. Getting your hair wet and putting gel in it and it's a very simple, easy look. I thought giving you some texture and give you some alternatives and just some other ways to really style, a bob that you know are just fun and the volume the styling products are really the key. So until my next video i'll see you later

Barby Dailey: Your hair looks good pulled back!  I had been using velcro curlers for years, but recently stopped because (at 70) my hair seemed to be thinning a bit and I wasn't sure if I was pulling too much out. So now I use TP rolls, lol. Great tips! I'm growing my hair out from a pixie last fall and can't wait to have a one length bob again.

Edgar Walters: This is Paula Goins-Walters. I love your hair! I am still in the process of growing out. It's been 17 months now. Looking forward to my cut on the 23rd. It's such a long process, but I feel it is well worth the wait! I noticed in one of your photos that your hair was curly. Can you share how you achieved that look? You are such a beautiful young woman! I so appreciate your sharing your techniques with us. Blessings for a wonderful day!

Sandy Gereau: Love this video - I have been experimenting with velcro rollers and this has been a great instructional video (as always). I would be interested how you get the look in the middle of your pictures for the video. I am 59, before I went grey-white I had red curly Einstein hair but after chemo it came in white and straight as a board which really drives me nuts. However, if I curl my hair it will hold for days - which makes me look more like myself. I was rolling my hair wet but I will try it this way. I am letting my hair grow as it was mercilessly short for too long. Thanks for another great video.

Johanna S. Legge: Respect! I love that you're out there with grey hair. I fought my salon for years to go grey, but they insisted I colour which made me more insecure about going grey. Shout out to Game of Thrones who made white hair haute couture - lol. I get more compliments on my hair now than I ever have. Your amazing. Thank you!

Naioma: I loved your Short Bob tutorial! I just cut my hair in a long Pixie and can use these hair tips. Thank you.

Shelley Johnson: Always fun and inspiring beautiful lady! I’ve brought back my Velcro rollers too! Xoxo

Susan Demarest: Great tips especially for us with fragile grey hair, thanks for the tips

Suzyquzy 926: I have very very long highlighted hair. Been using this method for years. Absolutely works. Better than hot rollers imo.

⋉BumbleBean⋊: I'm 21 and I don't really know how to do my hair, especially now that I've cut it short. Thank you so much! I hate when it doesn't have volume lol it makes me feel like Snape if it's flat.

Peachykeen1: This is exactly the kind of glamour tutorials I have searched for

Terry: I LOVE YOUR IDEAS!!! I have very fine hair (thinning - thanks for nuthin' Menopause!); so I haven't used a heating tool for the last few years. Been so afraid I'd burn what little I have left, BUT what I think I'm going to try is to get a set of the velcro rollers and maybe instead of "warming" my hair with a curling iron, I'd use my blow dryer on a low setting on THE CURLERS, then set it in my hair! What do you think? It wouldn't be too damaging! Please excuse the run-on sentence but I'm really excited to try this! As always, I appreciate your wonderful videos! Lots of love and hugs from Louisiana!

Sharon La Tour: Gorgeous! Thank you Nikol!! I have fine, thin hair, these are great tips!

Welcom Welcom: I have a sleek bob that I adore. I've had long curly shoulder length but nothing beats a straight bob. In my opinion it's the most flattering hairstyle for all ages. My 5yr old granddaughter looks gorgeous with a shiny bob and people always comment! Thank u Nikol for new ideas and hairstyles.

Griselle CC: Love this video, great ideas since I have a bob as well. ❤️

Helen Nesbitt: I love your video, I'm 70 just went all gray, love it . Will try what you showed us since my hair is fine. Thanks for your great videos.

Bizi Souad: I'm proud of your beauty boldness, you're absolutely gorgeous❤

Suzi Q-zy: Always great info from Nikol. Amazon has the 4-in1 brush styler at s big discount tight now. I purchased the turby twist set, Conair roller set, and brush styler for &90 with overnight shipping. .

Linda Marocco: Great idea with the curling iron and Velcro rollers… I will have to try that… thank you so much, Nikol!!!!

Peaches Skin Care: Your an inspiration. I wish I could wear a bob. I am a long hair lady. I do love my silver sparkle accentuating my hair! Just beautiful Blessings everyone. Stay beautiful naturally Lisa

lmi747: Fantastic video Nikol! I love seeing your outfits too. Always so chic!!

Janet Coltin: I have always worn a bob haircut but with bangs. I have never stopped using velcro rollers but I have never tried using a curling Iron first. Question, what kind of gel is good to use for the slicked back look? thank you, Janet Coltin

Jan Mitchell: Great video! I have that same four in one styler - game changer. Question - do you use the cool setting or go all out with the heat?

Nancy Cook: Another excellent video! I do use Velcro rollers but I’m going to try your curling iron method to see if I too get more lift that stays.

Kaylynn L.: I have thin fine hair and for years I’ve been using Velcro rollers . I blow dry with a round brush and then place that section in a Velcro. This is the only way I can get some volume.

Ellen D: After watching another of your videos over the weekend I thought "I wish she could tell us how she does her hair" Voila! TY!!!

betty burns: Good morning! Nikol Thank you for your hair tips. I hope you an Amazing week.

TheGratitudeAttitude: Nikol, your curling iron + velcro curler trick is such a great idea for setting a curl! Have a wonderful week! ~ Maria

C Roldan: Fabulous ! Thanks for all that you do, Greek Beautiful Goddess .

OLGA GKINI: Dear Nikol can you do a video about sunscreen products??? There are so much outhere, anti-aging, gel, with colour, powder, sticks, I am totally confused and I really need your advice. Love the hair and the shirt!!!!
