Here, my next haircut, what we're going to be doing here is we're gon na leave the fringe from tier long we're gon na let this grow out, I'm going to blend it in, but we bringing up her legs right, hitting the shoulder. Maybe a DAB, long, really cool old sleek through and I what we gon na do who's going to take a lot of weight out throughout the perimeter to make it a really really swinging very good. So here we turn the Cape around the usual okay. You can hold here, bring it at hair down and you can see it. This is a ton of hair, okay, just a lot of hair. The K long Couture is made out of the most durable Japanese steel available. E-Every share has its own serial number and we added latest polymer glide possible right here at the pivot and we're gon na cop here straight through so actually give it a swing to it. Here already that's a very cool length and what I'm going to be doing now is I'm going to bring up the length in the end a little bit again as well like to level it off completely. But I'm gon na do that after I take all that weight out because she has so much hair and it's actual thick hair, so I'm gon na take pull that weight out alright. Here we are again so, let's start actually right here in the the back of the hair and I'm using my K T slide. Royale first, are you see Katie? First, my most aggressive texture sliding shear and I am taking a vertical section just like that, and you can see these young. Ladies we've got a ton of hair and the thick hair. It'S a lot of thick hair and there's. Actually people is a lot of thick hair, so there we go - and this is what we're doing here is taking all that weight out. As you can see here, just take step section by section: pull it straight out, they're going closer than just pull out. It'S really nice great way to eliminate all that bulk and add a lot of movements. You know how can hair move when it's all heavy and solid, she won't light hair. You want to have a curtain II. Okay, it's why I always say every hairstylist should have texturizing shear Center blender, shears, sculpting, shears curve, Cheers precision, blade all sorts and that's how you can make you no hair at this length, which you know maybe has a tendency to be maybe a little bit more On the you know, a little bit more on their not so wild side rides actually can add that fun factor to it. When you, you know, have a nice light perimeter and again we're getting to hair prep, so we're actually going to bring up the length and hitting that most likely right around the shoulder. So I mean that nice and airy. This is so much. I tell you someone with so much hair like this young lady hasn't so thick hair actually welcomes it too, like if you actually take weight out Lobster sorry, there's still another caller shriek in here kind of thumb. Excellent! So now we're going to bring up the legs again yeah and then we're going to go back in and give them the finishing touches around the face as well, because I haven't done that yet first I'll level, it out. So why don't you stand up against Lee here? Bring up the legs a little bit so are we gon na turn her around and we gon na turn their Cape around again right here, very nice stance, so nice lovely and again just for just a reason why I turn the Cape around. So don't have these flaps in the back. You know bothering me so here I bring up the Cape here, fantastic again with Mike a long Couture, but because now we have less weight on the hair. It'S much easier for me to sculpt it and to hate the Lang's perfectly. The white on the Cape really is nice because it gives you a good contrast and you hold it over here quickly. Very good here. Are we going to have a look over to the side so that lengths folds over the shoulder like this or thanks, don't move? Thank you, and this actually gives me the guide here to connect to the back, got it nice and plump. That'S why we're using the K, long Couture and then here you can look as well over to this side and then have the same thing fall over, so we can cut and blend this nicely excellent super looking good so far, awesome so now, just kind of looking Quickly from the front, we still have a little bit more hair on this side than on the other side, so we're gon na level that and we're gon na blend. This is kinda in, but we're nothing particularly cutting the bangs shorter. So we just kind of make it level right, also their lightness off the hair from the front to the back. Alright, cool we're going to move to k-b, slide, Royale, wonderful tool and right here, just take nice wide section comb it straight towards me and slice this out, and now you see you have that length when you add that certain pizzazz to it, which is really cool. So that's what I'm doing here! I take the slice out here. Protocol sections again, another big deal for my shears to cut through the sliders same thing on the other side right here around the face: calm them straight out: team zing here too few pieces of hair. Here, sister really just a few pieces here - I'm actually gon na yep. Take this here sideways here and just so. You can slide these nicely on III, tilt them sideways so when they fall on the left and on the right, the same okay, here right, taking a little bit of a bigger triangle. Okay, as you can see - and again, this is for around the face as well. Make it nice and soft now to grow out you see like the blend it blends in perfectly same thing. On the other side, it just blends in ok just make sure here the perimeter is nice and clean and you're good, yeah, perfect excellent. Sorry about that cool outline here, nice and clean excellent see how light it is on the air and that's really when, when you're gon na add the product, when this comes in very handy, to make it fun and also again, the growing out part is going to Be absolutely paradise because it's going to grow out just so smooth, you know just at the ends. The ends are light just slide here. Excellent. So here as well see you can even use it just reach the point, because we have all flat tips here. You can just go in and literally sculpt it out turn around there. You can hear right here, push it in at the hair end to get that separation to make it now see that that's the trick. Okay, and also you have to use very little, but do you see now how this helped, how that becomes alive by? We have Chokin all that weight out through the perimeter, and this is exactly what you need to make this to make this cool. That'S how you can like at a really nice textured, separated, look by just still the same amount, rub it in your hands and motion in motion in excellent throwing up the face as well. And then here. If you know more volume, which is going to give a little bit of a head massage right there and then to do you, have this really cool textured? Look there you go Fantastico Grande

Colleen Dutton: Mike!!!!!!!!!!!! I have been doing hair for 25 years and I'm a cutting specialist. I, however, have SUPER DUPER thick hair and I've never had a cut that gave me the movement I wanted. This tutorial CHANGED MY LIFE. I had my friend come over this weekend to assist and I love my hair more today than I ever have before. Thanks and gratitude!!!!

lepeicious: so true my hair is thick not straight but not super wavy it has so much body when I actually get a stylist who knows how to layer convex and take weight out, i love that you have brought attention to this and such a beautiful cut!!!! LOVE IT you are so talented!!!

Saleena: This haircut is amazing, as someone who also has thick Asian hair I have had bad short haircuts and some good ones. It's all about understanding the person's hair and how it's going to look completely un-styled.

jenmarie1276: Great cut! Very helpful video to those who battle so much hair like myself! I'd like to ask only bc I see my stylist using thinning shears but going much closer to my scalp. I see you did not do this. I feel my hair although is thinner is still too much volume. Is she doing this incorrectly? Thanks!

faeraven363: I would love to be taught by you. You have a very calm and friendly manor about u. I’ve been qualified for 3 years and still so much I struggle with xx

Rara Avis: Man, I want a stylist, who has the guts to thin out hair like that. I have like double the amount of hair, most people have and it's thick and wavy on top, curly at the neck. It's a NIGHTMARE to deal with. I've even resorted to getting undercuts, even though I don't really like them.

susan gunn: Very classy length. Great thinning job!

Selena Rosadilla: Gorgeous the way you cut it’s like butter what a pro !

Asha Livingston: Is there a list of stylists that have been trained by you somewhere? NO ONE I have encountered does thick hair as well as you. I need this level of precision and skill in my life.

blackestcat1111: What did you look to separate her hair at the end? It looked great - I want this haircut great job

Aleen: if that's thick... it's official guys, i am a mammoth in disguise

dcdddddd1: Nice haircut but her long hair was so beautiful.

Deborah Whatford: I have thicker hair than this lady. It's difficult to know what to do with it. Some salons I've been to are baffled by what to do with it. It's embarrassing.

병순: I like it when you first cut it and maybe a little texturizing scissors to eliminate some bulk but keeping it looking nice and thick. But that's just me. Good job.

I'll buy that For a dollar: I have her kind of hair and this is the only style I can get stylists to do. I just want to have long laters with looking like I have shelves in my hair and apparently that’s impossible

Luann Nielson: Wow, I love the haircut! You are the Best!

T K: OMG, Mike, what a difference. Beautiful job! Wish you were closer!! Are you ever in CT?

Samantha: Can you do this with normal cutting scissors?

Imar: I love this haircut i have lots of hair and i cant have my hair free because of that... i have afraid to the thinner scissors...

Melk Tert: I wish you could cut my hair. I once went to my hairdresser she cut my hair in 2 layers. My hair is just as thick and many as this lady, but its frizzy aswell. It was the worst day and hairstyle of my life
