Hi everyone Emily here so today I am going to be cutting my long walks and getting rid of it for something a little shorter. I just needed a change and it just gotten really heavy because it is so long. I also have super thick hair. Half of my hair is like more than somewhat will be piled on our entire head, so this is just how my hair is naturally, and it is just has a nice little wave to it and yeah. I just needed a change, so here we go. I want to create a more of a longer a line Bob and most of my ends were pretty broken inside anyway, so it just this time, I'm going to be using weather scissors, some thinning, shears and a razor to do this. I am light no way shape or form a professional at this. So if you have some critiques or anything just be kind and courteous in the comments, please I'm just doing this to show you how I created my longing line Bob. I part my hair down the middle and then I go ahead and section off into three sections one of each five. I split it right behind my ear, just because I have so much hair, but you could do it at your ear and then I go ahead and put the back into one ponytail and I'm using two ties here. I'M going to pull the first one down a little bit longer than I want, and this with the second tight on there, because I'm going to be donating, my hair, so when I cut it off, I want it to all stay together. So this top one, which is I'm just going to pull this down to the desired length that I feel like I want it, and I'm going to go just slightly longer, just to give myself a little leeway in case. I want to trim it up a little bit further in the back is once you cut it, it's gone, and then I have the two front part. So here I'm just taking my scissors, I'm just slowly cutting at that with through the layers, because I have so much care just take your time with it, and this is all the hair that came off two loads of hair, such a weight lifted off of my Head seriously and then this is how it will look once you cut it off and it's not going to be completely straight because obviously then cut it straight, and so it's okay we're going to wrap that back up into the ponytail and then again just pull it Down to the desired length that you want it, and I'm going to take my electric razor and clean up the ends. I just found this to be easier than the scissors and also make sure you don't pull on your hair from the opposite side. That way, you don't get in them even cut in your hair. So again just take your time be extra. Careful because, like I said once it's gone, it's gone you're not going to get your hair back and until it glows again, and so you just want to be nice and straight and smooth and as you can see here, it's a little bit longer on the sides Which is what I want and I'm going to take my size nail and just go down in a nice angle. This is just the rough cut and creating that a line and depends on how drastic you would like it to be so here you're just going to. I like to pull my front hair forward to get both sides, and then I cut a nice straight line. That way, I know, are my guide is for the length and it keeps both sides at the same length and so from there that I'm going to start creating my angled cut and you just take your time. I start just by running my fingers through it and just getting all the longer pieces that maybe I've missed, and then I will go in with my thumb after that one side is usually easier than the other for you. So if you feel like a little harder, it's okay, it's normal. This is the rough cut of it, and here I'm just going to take my scissors and go ahead and texturize the end, and you could also use a razor. I don't own one. No, I need to get one and a lighter on one and then I'm going to take my thinning shears and do the same thing a little bit higher up. Just because I have such thick hair. If you have been hair, do not use any shoes. I want to suggest that this is how it looks I like it. I think I lightened up going in a little bit later and giving it more of an evil, but I have seriously no ponytail left. It'S weird is super light, which is really nice and I've already like missing the hair, but is this all the hair? I will be donating and most of the size cut, and then this is the mess I have to clean up. This whole process took me about 45 minutes, but I will probably end up trimming it up just a little bit shorter in the back, but I'm loving the way it looks. I am so happy with the change. It have a lot of volume, and I always use a pony tail cause otherwise i cant do anything (it end up in my face, covering my eyes), so I was thinking in giving myself a 70s fringe, sorta like hair metal bands, so I can use it loose....i dont have the guts tho
