How To Cut Your Own Hair | Straight And Blunt Hair Cut

Hey guys, here's a super easy tutorial on how I cut my own hair to achieve a short blunt haircut! Enjoy :)

Hi everybody, sorry, my lighting is trash right now, but that's beside the point i'm dia nice to meet. You welcome to or back to my channel. So if you click on the video, then you probably want to know how to cut your hair by yourself or you probably just want to watch me to see. If i'm going to get up, which i don't know we'll see, i'm cutting like an inch off because the last time i cut my hair, i don't know i feel like i could be shorter. I could like three inches off and for credibility purposes. This is how the back turned out, but yeah i'm going to show y'all what i did to cut my hair and, if you're interested then keep on watching. What you want to do is section your hair, i'm going to do bigger sections, but if you are very new to this, please do smaller sections, so you want to pull the hair taut. Okay, so i'm gon na be cutting like this much today, hi guys. So quick little disclaimer, i'm not a professional, but if you're looking to save some money or um, basically just money then watch the video, because i do have some helpful tips and tricks that you might benefit from so first, you want to take your hair and, like I said: make a base layer, section part whatever you want to call it and that's going to be your foundation for your entire, like shape and length of your cut. So you take your hair or you take your fingers to pull your hair really taut and then go all the way down to whatever. However much hair you want to cut off and then use your fingers as like a guide. I guess like i'm doing here and then you take the hair next to it. Do the same thing except cut that the extra length off to match the short pieces and y'all do not don't do this? What i'm doing right here, because if my scissors were sharp enough like it would have messed up the haircut but um yeah and then you'll see me like here. Okay, so you see take your fingers taut and the leftover hanging pieces, like you just cut that off and the good thing about doing this and taking your time and doing like layers is you'll have less of a chance of messing up and you just yeah. It'S just easier because once you part and bring more hair down um, you already have the base layer to follow. So it's easy from there. You just really want to make sure your bottom layer is straight and the rest is easy. So and i'll have the scissors linked down below, i forgot to say that um i got them from sally's. I got the cheapest ones too, but just make sure you're not using craft scissors, because your hair will not be cute. I promise also you might want to have another mirror on hand like i did, because the back is a little bit hard to do, but a good little tip for the back is like pull like i'm doing right here, but pull the hair out to the side. So you can actually see it and yeah. This is just a quick little video, i'm gon na stop talking, because i don't like my voice but yeah. I hope you guys enjoy, and i hope you learned something from this and i'll see you in a second at the end of the video, and this is pretty much the final result y'all i feel like it turned out pretty good and when i was doing it, I was like uh, this is hideous, but now that i'm watching, i feel like i did a good job.
