So you're going to need a spray bottle, a few hair clips, any kind you have will be fine. A standard, haircutting comb I get mine from Sally's, be supply and you're going to need a sharp pair of scissors. It'S important not to cut your hair, cutting scissors on anything else, except for your hair or your blade will become dull and give you bad haircuts. So, let's get started you're going to make a part in the center. You can use the nose as a guide. Okay, so you're gon na spray with the water, and this helps to control the hair when you're cutting it. So the first thing you're going to do is you're going to make a vertical parting down the center to get started, and I'm going to angle the hair at this point so that I could figure out exactly where I want my first initial cut to be so. The first thing I'm going to do is I'm going to cut the hair so that it's all one length and some people might just go for it and start cutting the hair and at an angle from the get-go. But I have always cut the length first and then the layer is second, everyone has a different technique. This is just what I feel easiest and comfortable, so I'm just going to connect the line, and I want you guys to know that combing, the hair against the exact safe shape of the head is extremely important and getting all the hair in place to cut right Here you guys see how I'm combing against the head and all this hair just popped out from underneath. So it's very important to comb the hair correctly. So I did one side and now I'm gon na go to the other side. So before I do the under layering, I'm just gon na share how I make everything even for those interested and please don't get mad at me, for when I move the doll head with my hands, I get so much hate mail from moving the doll head with My hands, but I got you guys I have to it's just unless she's possessed or something I have to move her head for her, so I'm so sorry, okay, so I'm going to even out the front first before finishing it up off on the side. This way seems to be a foolproof way for a very, even cut so you're going to take the piece you matched up in the front and you're going to cut and connect the last bit or some reason. This works really well for a really straight cut. For me, so I just wanted to share you, make sure the head is straight and even and just you're going to cut and connect, and I have one little hair. I forgot and I missed, and I'm gon na get it right there. Okay, so this is the fun part: we're gon na do the under layering now so now that we got the length done and that we like the length we're going to do another vertical section at the center, I'm using the clips to get the hair out of The way - and you don't want to make your section too, thick or too thin about like that and we're going to angle the hair so that the layers are shorter, underneath the cut yeah, I'm bringing my hand down, but I'm keeping my fingertips at an angle and We'Re just going to cut and see it automatically made the hair curve under that's so awesome. I'M always amazed by that and now we're just gon na get some of the cut section of hair combed, alongside with the uncut section of hair and we're going to copy by cutting exactly where you cut previously make sure every hair is in place of where you Want to cut it and going to see where you cut previous you're, going to angle the hair angle it and then you're gon na cut and you're gon na. Do this all the way around it's a really easy cutting day. So this is the beat for, and this is the after. I really love it. You guys. I hope you guys do too, and this is how the hair looks for straight hair, and this is the front or straight hair. I really love it. She looks like a news broadcaster, or something like that. I really like it real professional looking, and this is how the same cut looks for curly hair in case you like to change it up every now, and then you guys can see how it would look if you guys wanted to do something different and style it In a different way, so wondering what you guys like best curlier straight, let me know comments below all those who are interested and it's less expensive than the leading brand out there in salons. But it's actually better for your hair, because the leading brand has chemicals and other chemicals in it to dilute the actual argan oil. We'Re just going to place the funnel on the spray bottle and then we're going to mix the ingredients.

Lita LeVan: This haircut is so simple and the instructions are especially easy to understand.  Great job!!!

COPADEGO123: Well done, good teaching video—thank you!

Nightingale21: This was very educational, I feel ready to cut my grandma's hair now

Elizabeth Holloman: Great tutorial. Truly love it. I vote for straight!

BlancaJay: Great simple cut to follow, but it would've been great to see it done until the end.

Lori Jacoby: This was an excellent video. i feel confident to go ahead and cut my hair now. Thanks

gav: does this same technique work on long hair to make it curl inwards at the ends?

Cristine Viado: Thank you so much for this! Would this technique work with long hair? I have fine, straight Asian hair and want a blunt cut but with a subtle curve only at the ends.

Cheryl Stade: Thanks! This is so helpful.

antoinette metoyer: When cutting the sides, do you have the client tilt her head over the opposite way?

S T: Thank you! Helped me know the right terms to use when describing what I want.

No one Of importants (grit): I need a tutorial on how NOT to do this. Or how to undo it, every time I cut my hair it does this and I don’t like it

Eggles: Is there an easy way to grow this out? I asked the hairdresser for an edgy textured Bob and gave me this look, which was the exact opposite to what I wanted. It aged me about 10 years and made me look like a mom. :(

K_pop_Diaries: I was looking for this kind of video. But this type video didn't come to my feed. Actually found the video I was looking for. Thank you soo much for uploading this kind of video .

Sandra Mullikiin: I like the straight hair best. Thanks for sharing!

loveandletitbe: I find it much easier to hold the hair fingers pointing up. And cutting palm to palm. (Cutting down)

Sharon La Tour: Both look good! :)

Rainha Laureta: Would it work if I had to do it outward so it would make the flipped out hairstyle

7swordMary: This hair is full of lush wavy body. How d'yu make the same magic happen on fine, stick-straight, thin hair? Is the mannequin head adult size?

diana d: Thank you

Jael Jade: I hate you for moving the doll head!! Jk...who hates because of that! Jeeez. Thanks, nice tutorial :)

Denise Snyder: Are you a liscensed hairdresser? Or is this just a hobby of yours?
