Okay, guys so in this video I'll be showing you how to cut your hair into a bob. You want some really good hair scissors and a ponytail holder so I'll be taking out the one that I have in my hair and you'll. Basically, if you want like an angle, bob you'll separate the hair, like from your ear, pull out the hair from your ear and in front of it and keep that out. Everything behind your ear is going to go into a real low, ponytail and, depending on how short you want, your bar will be how high up you are put your ponytail, you, okay, so you want to take your ponytail hold it very tight and you're going to Cut vertically don't cut horizontally, you want to cut vertically, and it's not all going to cut it once so. Just make sure you keep your hand, steady and keep cutting all the way down until it's done as the ponytail starts. Getting cut off your hand will want to move right or left, don't let it move, keep it in the same place and keep cutting otherwise you'll have an uneven bob. You ok! So now, it's time to even it up now we're going to blend in the front to the back and I'll be taking the hair scissors that I, where did I go? Ok I'll be taking the hair scissors again and a comb and you'll put your fingers at an angle and start off where you left, where the, where you cut it, when you cut the ponytail off, basically is what I'm trying to say. So you want to go on an angle and you want to go down if you don't cut at a deep angle, is going to turn out short and cut little bar little. You you, okay! So now you want to repeat what you did on the other side to this side now and it might be kind of tricky, depending on what how you write like if you're, right-handed or left-handed but anyways. Just repeat that step you you, okay! So now what I'm doing is kind of blending out the front a little bit and you want to take it and slide your fingers back, but you want to bring it around to the side of your hair. I mean to the side of your head yeah. It kind of like thins it out a little bit and it just if you do it in that way, will help your hair fall in that particular direction or something I don't even know how to explain it, but just follow that. Okay. So now what I'm going to do is create a little side. Bang, okay, so now you'll need a mirror. This is going to be so you can cut the back. You don't need anybody's help, it's very easy, just to cut the back of your bob. So, looking in another mirror um comb, the hair straight down and any pieces that you see that are not in that line, you're just going to snip out it's so simple, you really don't need any help. I cut my Bob's all the time and one thing that I do to help stabilize the scissors is rest, the scissors on my neck, okay. So now, what I'm doing is I'm just going to take a little bit of weight out of this and add a little bit of layers? It sometimes I'll stack it which will be basically holding it like that. But you have like the entire back area of your hand. I mean your hair if you grab like the entire back and hold it just like that and cut it at once. It will give you more of a stack look, but this is just the technique. I chose to do right now because it's just what I felt like doing: okay, so now, you'll want to apply some heat, protectant, serum or spray and flat iron. Your hair is desired or curl it. Whatever again, my visible part was what I learned from Latorre is tatted YouTube page, so y'all can check her out. So I hope you know this tutorial was very informative for you, so you could cut a bob and I hope you enjoyed it and I will see you guys later. Bye,

Tess: I watched so many hair tutorials, yours was the best!!! So easy to follow! I watched twice, now have my scissors ready and I'm going to play it while I cut! THANK YOU

Mrs. Averyhart: She did a great job!!! It's funny how alot of people have so much negative comments about it...I'm sure she don't give a damn but she also did it herself on herself so even if there was flaws she did a hell of a job!!! And for all you hairstylist who had bad things to say, when cutting natural hair and weaves there are completely different ways to cut the hair!!! Your not gonna cut a weave how you will cut natural hair and at the end of the day to each its own!! Remember that smh again great job love.

Vanessa Carney: Did this yesterday and it worked beautifully! Fairly simple too, except my arms got a little tired. So glad I saved all that money!

Megan: I actually think it looks really good. I admit I didn't like it much when it was straight and there was no volume, but you styled it up quite nicely. One of the best tutorials on an a line bob if seen yet!

Lavida Loves Coils: Cute bob! Tip: holding your scissors properly will allow for a more precise/ less stressful cut. Your pinky should lay on the tang and your ring finger and thumb should be in the shears. This will also allow you to palm the shears while your combing.

TA L.: just cut my hair like this...following your video! Thank you so much...it turned out great and you saved me money this week from paying for a haircut. I really appreciate the video tutorial...don't think I will pay someone to do it again...it was sooooo easy!!!!

Lou Stacey: You're a gutsy young woman! Good for you! I wish I'd seen your video before I cut my ponytail horizontally. Once I start cutting my hair, I just chip away at it for weeks. Your hair is lovely, so smooth and swingy. Thanks for the tips and inspiration.

Nicole Peach: I loved it you made it so easy hun!!! Forget the haters its beautiful ♥♥

Sarah Robinson: love it. I want to do this so badly gives me a Lil more confidence to do it myself. great video, thank you

Midgley Howe: As a hairstylist makeupartist this is a complete no no! A for effort though. Lol

Angelica Bcruz: Love it!! I'm about to try to do this on my own.

Kendra Onley: I thought the back was layered very well, the two tone color was also beautiful. Thanks for sharing ,bobs are pretty hard to cut ,but I am slowly learning.

beauty28brains: The blending of the colors is FLAWLESS!!!

idratherbe_inspace: Very detailed instructions! I totally want this hair style now :)

Agodis Femi-9: You did a great job, Lexi. Love, lOvE, LOVE it!

Budafly25: Looks Great!! Its actually the best cut i've seen in a while.. Good job.. It really does make a difference when u cut the ponytail from top to bottom..

Lovey James: I really like your technique, simple & affective. Thanks for posting.

DaNica: Very cute! I see my next hairdo coming soon!

Tammy Marie: Thank you Lovee. Your video was so helpful and I love my new bob that I cut myself.

MsVintageVisage: Actually ty for this! !! After cutting my own bob people stip me all the time to ask where i get my hair dibe even professionals say it looks good. I've had people offer to pay me to do theirs. ...this video has a lot of gems in it. I've used other tutorials and ended up reversing this method..basically I would do my cut, chop off back etc..then go back after front was done, tie a small section in the back and cut it just the way you said.... down not across!!! If you are brave enough to do your own hair you will learn your hair is UNIQUE there are no universal methods...people's heads are different with time you will learn your hair, it's growth patterns and just how a slight angle in the scissors can make a difference in failure or success. Don't ever be afraid to learn your own body and be able to take care of it WITHOUT a professional. I know myself best at 32. It's to the point now, everytime I get lazy and go to a "PROFESSIONAL" with all their little certificates on the wall, I walk out with mullets or gummy hair...I'm done lol...there are some good tips in this video!! Ty for sharing! !!

Carmin Johnson: Omg as a hair stylist I cringed watching this video! This is NOT how you would do a swing bob, I hope the girls who watch this dont try do mimic her! But I will say she has some guts wearing that in public and that includes how she laid her tracks and color!

unique Presley: Thanks you made it so simple!!!

Zulu Child: Sooooo cute! One of the simplest and easy techniqes I've come across

Darla Spinner: i love this bob cut!! You did an excellent Job!! big ups!!

April Lambert: GURL PLEASE!!!! WHAT AWESOME JOB U HAVE DONE! BEAUTIFUL IS WHAT I SEE!!! LOVE THE CUT!!!

Michelle K: I think you did a good job, I love the colors!

Nicole Slater: I've been cutting my own hair for over a decade and my method is really similar to yours. I think it looks great and great on you. If people don't like it, then that's their Que to not do it themselves lol its simple logic people. Don't get bitchy and make yourself look bad by leaving a rude comment. It only reflects who you are, like you're putting yourself on blast. Content people don't get rude, they have no reason to.

Bridgette Ignatova: Great video!  I thought it was a great way to do it yourself.  For me, hair dressers always screw up, so I'm forced to do it myself.  I have curly hair, so should be even easier I hope.

Katalin Szabo: I like it so much! I gonna try, in my experience the professional just screwed up my hair allways for a lot of money. If it is not going perfectly i dont mind, I got really wavy-curly hair, and I want to wavy bob style, so who care. Thanks!

sheeklady77: Ms scissor master...you have inspired me..I am going to try and cut my hair today..no Bob though..baby steps..I will try to even out my hair all over..thx 4 the vids

BrownSkinnedBeautyyy: A razor comb would have help out a lot because that way u don't have to have any blunt cuts and you can clean up nice with it and easy to use

Geniece Jacobs: It would have looked less choppy if you used clippers to cut the ponytail upwards instead of down. Especially for simple bobs

Christine Walters: best DIY bob I've seen yet!

Lexi Morales: Besides the curling it looks good to me good job boo

April Wines: great job..thanks!!

tori: it actually came out good! i couldnt do it tho lol

dancegirl17: To all those people saying she did something wrong, or its uneven, or shes holding the scissors the wrong way, get a life. Do you expect everything to be perfect. I actually think she did an amazing job. It is also a tutorial, why watch it if you arent gonna try? And have you tried? Maybe it turns out flawless.

NothingGirl101: I'm still intimidated ! You did a great job though. If you were closer I'd pay you to cut my hair like that.

Krystal Fox: I still don't understand how it's a 'fail", it looks pretty good to me and I'm loving the colours. She just needs to flat iron it in the right direction. Well done babe!

Brittney Malone: When she was trimming the back it looked like the left side needed to be even with the right but bobs aren't really that even anyway:) but this tutorial was very helpful and the style is cute:)

karrizma johnson: You did really good was very cute

Chezney Nicole: Oh my goodness... if i ever had a client leave my salon looking like this i would probably cry myself to sleep for a staight year. I hope nobody tries this at home

brownsuga298: nice video thanks for the tips in cutting bob.

Dizzy Daisy: It's really good just go to a hair salon and let them fix it alittle bit

Fremantle88: Great job.  It looked good to me.

Alvie EK 143: YOU DID THAT! I like the color too...

LydLuna& JettieKey Music Page: yes the ponytail is a awesome tool ty !

Raeshel Calhoun: Well on the bright side if she ever messes up she can always buy more weave and her hair will be good as new. I think that's how weave works...

Mary: If she didn't take her "wig" off to cut it, it's obviously not a wig✋ So stop telling her that and just watch her video! Her bob was great, and most of the people commenting negative things are haoles so stop✋

Carlota Wichmann Tejero: That looks pretty cool

Kay dinner: Perfect

kittykaboom: I use that comb too lmao can't use anything else to do my hair

Dawn muah: Cute(: i Iove the colors in ur hair!

TierraJhe15: How did you get it so thick in the back?? Did you lay the tracks extremely close together?

AblessedQueen: the colors are very pretty......nice job.....

Raven Dimambro: Ladies please do not do this to yourselves. Pay for a professional to do this for you so it is even and fits your head shape properly.

Ria Rain Designs: Lol thank u. Hope it works out for you.

Cecil rose: im a cosmo student at dorsey the bob is the first haircut we learnd and you cut your hair so wrong and uneven you dont put it in a ponytail you section it in 4 two on both sides then you angel the hair at about 90 degrees so the hair falls in the right place and the layers are even
