Hello, ladies, my name is miss kaye. I am a hair stylist in lawnside new jersey. Today, i'm going to be demonstrating to you a short graduated bob with layers and feathered curls. This is where i get my ankles together, so i will know exactly where um my um, the highest point of my elevation, is going to be at so right now i did the um the quick method to actually do a graduation cut, um. Well, a asymmetrical bob by putting a rubber band um, you know, making you know putting a rubber band on here and cutting it with the clipper. The hair is damp so, unfortunately um it's gon na. You know it's giving me a little hard time going through so because i didn't blow dry, it first you're supposed to cut on dry hair with clippers so um. That was my mistake, but nevertheless i had to get it done much stronger than they will ever be. Don'T you know that you wouldn't just it's time to get to cutting um, so i have my guideline for the 45 degree angle in which i'm going to create my stack off uh my graduation, i'm sorry um right now, i'm just taking time to um. You know, move the hair out the way so that i can have a clean area to cut and i won't get confused because that's how my mind gets so i have to you know, make sure i section off: don't you know that you're here? Okay? So now that i have my guideline for my 45, my graduation - i am going to be over directing the hair to create my asymmetrical shape. This is how i do it other people do it differently, but um it works for me. If only you could see just the way, okay, so now that i got the um the structure that i want for the back, the nape i am now going to just go on and um define the shape so that you know i can get it the way. I envision it just the way is just the way we are just the way. Don'T you know that you're here it's time to texture, the hair, so um now um, i'm just going to take this razor comb and just go down. You know gently. You know razor uh just to to take out the lines to you know, give it a flow um. You know just make it. You know, give it body so um and also it it creates layers. So um, it's perfect for the style. You cry yourself to sleep and you are colder much colder. If only you could see just the way you are what they just just the way. We are don't let them sell you all of their dirt. It all will come back once much stronger than they will ever be, no matter what they say. Okay, so now we got to the um to the um lifting um phase. What i'm going to do is um. You know i'm going to do the balayage balayage that balayage balayage, i don't know, i cannot pronounce it just. Please excuse me, but it's the balayage b-a-l-a-y, i a g e. I believe. That'S how you spell it. Well, anyway, i'm gon na use that technique um to feather the um, the um, the the bleach in the hair. So i would like it to look blended and not have a demarcation line, so i'm going to use that technique, i'm not going to blind it too much. It'S not going, i'm just lifting it just a little bit to a nice little auburn, um, uh color, and then i'm going to tone it and i'm just going to leave it like that, so i'm not putting any color in it, i'm just lifting the hair. So it's just going to be natural and i'm going to um use olaplex as well, and also um. You know, put a strengthening treatment in afterwards. If only you could see just the way you are just just the way we are don't. Let them sell you all of their dirt once much stronger than they will ever be. Don'T you know now look how beautiful that cool tone of brown is. Okay, it's nice um! It'S it's! You'Ve got the depth. You know um, it's blended, it's just natural okay. So it's a nice little lift um. Now i'm about to curl the hair uh, so i'm just preparing putting it in sections. You know so that the little parts won't get in my way and um, i'm just about to curl it out and do the feathers and um that'll be it.
