4 Jumbo Braids W/ Kanekalon Hair ( Cheap & Easy )

I used about TWO bundles of hair per braid . I started with one and a half bundles and then kept the extra hair on the side to keep the braid thick , long and juicy as I made my way down. The secret is to keep the hair THICK as you go down the braid. You will end up using about 2 FULL bundles of briaidng hair !! If you are using expression, start off with a JUMBO amount of hair, enough to make one LARGE BOX BRAID.

Hi guys alright, so we are back to the basics back to the beginning, and i'm gon na show you guys how to go from this. To that, please come here all right, so you want to make sure that your hair is completely stretched out for the style. Okay, i blow dried it a little bit. You don't have to blow dry but just make sure that it's stretched before we begin, because you want these braids to blend in like butter. You want it to be very, very smooth. You don't want any flyaways, you don't want nothing sticking out. So in order for that to happen, you have to make sure that your hair is nice and below your right. Okay. So the first thing that i'm gon na do is i'm going to grab my handy dandy brush and my handy handy-dandy comb and i'm going to start parting. My hair we're doing four big braids. So we want a braid here, a braid here, a braid here and a braid hair. That means we're going to be parting, our hair into four sections, so i'm parting down the middle and through the side, all right guys. So when you're done, you should have four parts, one right here, one right here, one right here, one right here and our section should look nice and crisp. Try your best guys! Okay! I know we are not professionals on this channel. We are just girls who could do it ourselves? We are diy girls, okay, diy game game. Don'T worry if your parts are not straight like arrogant. Okay, like don't worry just as long as it's like you know, as long as you tried, and we could tell you tried, that's all that matters okay. First, yes ma'am, so the first thing that i'm gon na do is i'm going to slick it up into a nice ponytail, okay, so we're gon na stick it up into a ponytail and then we are going to braid that section so to slick my hair up. I'M using the one the only shine and jam like if you don't use shiny jam for your braids baby, i'm here to tell you you're doing it wrong. Okay, you're doing it wrong, so we are going to grab the shiny jam and we're going to slick our ponytail up. Okay, we're also going to leave some edges out just so that we could do a little razzle dazzle add a little flavor to the style. A little flavor, so i'm gon na start with a good like a good chunk of hair, because, like i like my hair jumbo, i like it big. So you want to make sure that you get a good amount of hair because our braid needs to be fat. Okay, like i don't, this is not for skinny braids. This is for big braids like if we only gon na do four braids in our head. You want them to be micro. Braids, like you, got to make sure your braids are nice and thick. That'S what makes the style so like ali and, like you know, that's what makes a style of vibe so make sure you grab a good amount of hair. To begin with, it doesn't have to be super huge, but, like this amount is fine, so i have my braiding hair and what i did was i wrapped a rubber band around it. That'S because we are going to tie this rubber band to our actual ponytail. That way, and we're back and we're back and with the thicker band, so what i'm gon na do is the same thing that i wanted to do the last time, which is basically wrap my band or, like my rubber band around my actual pony. That way, we could just give our hair a really good grip for this braid okay. So your hair should look like this yep. You should have your hair here, your fake hair here and your real hair right here. Okay, so now we're going to begin the braid. What i'm going to do first, is i'm going to grab a good amount of shine and jam, and i'm going to shine and jam my real hair up like really shine and jam it up. We don't want any flyaways. So, in order to have no fly-aways, you got ta really, you know, fly them away like get your gel and don't be stingy, because that really makes or breaks the style. So i'm splitting my hair into three and since the braid is already tied to my ponytail, i'm going to begin the braid don't be afraid to add more hair. The secret to getting a nice thick braid from top to bottom is adding hair. Whenever you feel the braid getting thinner to finish off the braid, make sure you rubber band the end and make sure you leave a good amount of hair out for the curly end. So first thing i'm doing is i'm grabbing my shine and jam and i'm going to use it all over the hair. I want to make sure that i leave a good amount of space for like edges yeah. You always want to make sure you leave a good amount for your edges and now i'm going to shine and jam this baby up. You don't want it to be like super tight, but you want it to be slight now. What i'm going to do is i'm going to add some shine and jam to my hair. That'S in the ponytail. I just want to make sure that my hair is fully immersed in the shine and jam, because, if it's not like you're going to have a lot of flyaways, you don't look like you. Just came out of avatar like you're, not doing it right, it got ta, be yu-gi-oh! That'S how you know you're doing it right. That'S how you know you added enough shine and jam if your hair is giving you yugioh vibes. Okay. So after you got your yu-gi-oh vibes going on we're gon na split our hair into three and now after our hair is split into three. It is time for us to grab the extensions. I'M gon na grab a jumbo piece, a really good juicy jumbo piece of hair wrap it around. My ponytail split our braid hair into three combine and then just start reading. Whenever you need to you want to make sure that you're, adding hair like don't be afraid to add hair, we are getting our braids, nice and thick we're going to add. Hair gummy cube yummy cute. Now i'm going to add my perm rods at the end and we are going to dip these babies in hot water, hot water, okay. So these are the perm rods right over here and they're, so easy to install like if you know how to put on flexi rods, you're gon na know how to put perm rods on. So you just grab your perm rod right here and i want to say i'll, probably add about three perm rods to the braids per braid. So you make a small section just like this: make sure that it's nice and straight and then all you do is you put you grab the perm rod and then you just wrap it around, make sure that it's nice and tight wrap it wrap it around wrap. It around nice and tight, and then you just grab this other end and then you just seal it. You see, you see how that was loose. You want to make sure yours is super tight, like tight, the tighter it is the better your curl girl, so you want to make sure that it's nice and tight, so this one's pretty good, all fruity. I look so fruity next grab a thick towel, get some boiling water in a cup and we're going to dip the perm rods into the boiling water to set our curls make sure you are very careful because with boiling water, it's really easy to get burned. Y'All. So while my perm rods dried, i went off camera and did my makeup important step. Y'All, you want to make sure your porn. Rots are completely dry before take down like if your perm rods are not completely dry and you taking them down seals your curl about to be crazy, crazy, bad, so make sure your perm rods are completely dry before take down, and this is the finished look with A nice pretty curly, end nice and long and gorgeous
