Hey guys so in today's video I want to show you how I create my long pigtails, and these must make braids it's pretty much the same style in one look. You can do it back and forth and it's really easy. So I want to show you guys how to do it got a lot of questions on Instagram about it. So I'm gon na see how I keep this look. Keep watching this video, so the first thing you're going to do is will dry your hair. If your hair isn't already naturally straight it is the best thing to do is to just straighten it so that it can match the hair that you're going to add. I don't like to put a lot of heat in my hair, so I'm just doing a quick blow-dry, I'm not like going in too hard on it. I just want my hair to just be a little bit straighter when I add the hair. The next step is to part your hair down the middle, so you want to make sure your part is as straight as possible. So if you have to bend to part the back for you or use a mirror just to make sure it's straight all the way down the back once you have a parted, you want to just add the gel, I'm using the equal style gel and I am Putting a generous amount on my hair so use as much as you need. I like to use more to just make sure that my hair is nice and flat now, it's time to add the hair. The first thing you do when you take the hair out of the bag, I am using a whole pack of hair just for one side, so you'll need two packs. You just want to make sure that ends are not even you want to just pull down on them, so they're uneven. So when you braid it down, you won't have a blunt end. Then you want to braid the hair into your pigtails, so you're just going to wrap it around your ponytail one time and then you're going to start the braid. I'M going to show you again on the other side. You just wrap it around and then you start the braid and, as you start the braid, you can split the hair into three. So now you have three strands of hair and can continue the braid all the way down to the end. Then you just want to brush down your hair, make sure it's nice and smooth. You can add a little gel at this part if you want, I just like to add a few bobby pins just to make sure my hair is nice and flat. Also for the sake of filming, I didn't do this part, but usually I'll sleep with my hair, wrapped I'll put a scarf around it, so that it's really flat and nice and fresh in the morning, and you also want to trim the ends. So I have extra hair on the ends, make sure you're trimming them so that the grades are even. You can also boil a pot of water and dip the braids into it. That kind of helps just tame any flyaways and the braids and make them a little bit nice and fresh, but that's pretty much it so then, once you have the braids done just to do the milkmaid braid you're just going to wrap your braids around and pin Them it's really super easy and that's all there is to it.
