Diy Braided Hair Wrap | Easy

Hey everyone, it's yocelyn and welcome back to my channel so for today's video i'm going to be showing you guys how to do this hair wrap. I have a lot of hair wrap videos on my channel, but i think this is the easiest one to do all you need to know how to do is braid and then other than that. This is going to be really easy. It'S fun for the summer time and you can decide to do whatever colors you want, but i decided to do white pink and orange and i really like how it turned out and i decided it'd be fun to do a video on it. So if you want to learn how to do this, then just keep on watching what you're going to need to be able to do. This is embroidery string, i'm using three different colors. You can try it with more than three different colors, the more colors. You add the thicker, the sections of embroidery string are going to be, but i just decided to do three so like i said these are the colors i chose and then you're also going to need scissors to cut the embroidery string. You'Re also going to need clear, hair elastics to tie the end of the braid. I have my string here and i chose three colors. I chose orange this pink that kind of changes colors. Well, it doesn't change color. The thread is just different shades of pink and then i also have this like off-white. So the first thing that i'm going to do is i'm going to get my string since my hair short right now, i'm just gon na do like wingspan's length. So that's like this and then it's gon na be folded in half, so i'm just gon na go like this and then i'm gon na cut it your hair is longer. I recommend using more string just because you're gon na have more hair to wrap it around, but i have my orange and now i'm just going to cut the other two strings the same length. So this is the pink one, i'm just going to hold it out and then i'm going to cut it and then i'm going to do the last color. I have the white one out and then i'm going to cut it. So now i'm just going to put all the colors together since i have them all cut, so i just put them together at the top and then i kind of just go down to make sure they're, not tangled and they're, not going to be perfectly even so. I'M just going to cut off the excess because it's really pointless to have like some strings that aren't the same length. So i'm going to cut this a bit shorter and now i have my string and, as you can see it's about wingspan's length, i prefer to cut the ends because, as you guys can see, they're not all the same, so i kind of just cut them. So they're all the same length, but i'm going to put that to the side now and i'm going to choose where i want to put it in my hair. So i'm going to lift up this section of hair and i'm going to do it like under here and i'm just going to braid this you're going to want to do a tight braid. So i have this section: it's really not that much hair, as you guys can see, but i'm just going to braid this i'm using the camera as a mirror. So that's why i'm like staring into the camera, but i'm just going to braid this okay. So i braided it all the way down. Now i'm going to get this tiny, clear elastic and i'm going to tie it around the braid, so it doesn't undo you can put the braid anywhere you want. I decided to put it right there, so you're going to grab your string again and you're going to want to fold it in half. So that's why i said if you have longer hair you're going to want to make it longer than wingspan's length, just because you're going to need more, it's better to cut more string than less, because if you have too much, you can just cut off the excess. But if you have less, then you're gon na have to start all over again, but you're gon na want to put this under the braid and you're gon na want to make a tie at the top. It'S just a regular knot and you can kind of move. It up if it's too low, so as you guys can see, i made a knot at the top, but then i'm going to go under and i'm going to make another knot. Just go like this pull the string through and then i have another knot. Then you're going to want to tie the knit i just made sure i had no other hair that i was accidentally knotting into the braid now you're left with two strings and your braid and you're just gon na braid. This. How you normally would with three sections, so i'm just gon na start braiding. It now super easy. It'S just a regular braid. These are just imitating like two sections of hair. Once you start reaching the bottom, you can get another hair tie like i'm going to take this small hair tie that i put on earlier and i'm going to take it off and now i'm going to get another hair tie and i'm going to tie it. But with the new string that i just put, if your string's long, this is how much string i had left, but i'm just going to cut off the excess just so it's easier to tie i'll cut it a little bit longer. Now i'm just tying it with the clear elastic and you can use two hair ties just in case one breaks, but i have this and now i'm going to cut it the same length as my hair and that's all you have to do for this hair. That was how to do this hair wrap. It'S super simple to do, but it just adds something to your hair done a lot of different hair wraps. I think this is the easiest one and i honestly really like how it looks.
