Hey what's up YouTube, it's your girl, Kym Joseph, and I am about to show you how to do these jumbo got sprays. So hopefully you can see it. I'M using my stand. I don't have any recording, but I'm gon na try and get all those angles for you, so that you can see how to do these jumbo goddess braids yeah. So that is my youtube link. Make sure you guys subscribe so that I can keep these videos coming. Youtube-Dot-Com forward-slash see for such hair signs and please give me thumbs up if you've learned from this video - and please share guys. Yes, so we're in fast board mode. But that's only because I'm just doing a part down the center of her head and separating one side from the other. Okay - and this right here is my favorite to use it's maari's edge control. You cannot use too much because it will leave white residue, but it's perfect to use to define the center part. So I use it only in my parts only in my parts and so once we apply it. You'Ll see that I am going to go through with a fine-tooth comb and push one side of her hair from the other side of her hair and it's gon na define my part and leave it like that as I braid so yeah. That'S what I'm doing now. So, as you can see, she already had um edge control around her edges is nothing that I did. I do not use edge control around my clients edges, but this is something that she already had on her hair, which is fine, we're just going to work around it. So the brand that we're using today is the spectrum pre-stretch braiding. Here, it's not my favorite, but we can use it so I'm real picky when it comes down to braiding hair. However, if it's pre-stretched hair I'll work with it, so this is the spectra hair that we're using pay close attention to this part, because this is where it get tricky. So I'm sectioning her hair off in three different sections, of course, on this right side and remember: it's two sides: the left side on the right side, we're solely dealing with the right side right now, so we're going to separate the little triangle part that you've seen In the front, and then we're gon na split it going down the middle, and this is makes it far easier to braid all right, you're good, so we're gon na take this first section. We'Re gon na bring it up and over the top portion of the bundle of hair and we're going to keep it in two different sections fold over from the left and then we're gon na fold it over from the right. I'M trying to make sure you guys can see so yeah we're gon na fold it over from the left fold it over from the right and then we're gon na follow the same brain and pattern on down. You might have to watch the way that I started. This off a couple of times, but after you get the starting off part down, then you'll be able to master the whole braid. So the hardest part is starting it off so make sure you zoom in or do whatever you have to do so that you can see how to start this braid off and then, after that everything should be a piece of cake. Hopefully we get better angles. I'M sure we will, but, as you can see as I go down side to side, I'm adding in some of the clients, hair and I'm continuing on with the braiding pattern, and one of the main things to remember is watch my thumbs. You'Re going to use your thumbs to brace each each strand of hair from side to side to make sure that it does not unravel and see I'm adding the clients hair in and what I do to one side I do to the other. I try to make sure I keep the same amount of hair. I add the same amount of hair and I go down I'm using those thumbs every time, I'm adding hair into the clients braids and then I continue on we're still separated off into three different sections. As you can see up for it, you have the blue triangle already, because I am gon na curve. This braid a little bit. I put a part going right there, as you can see right up the center of our ear, and now I'm going to section this off. It'S on my two different sections, so one side going to the right and the other words of, and then you have their little triangle up front again we're using the spectra bright in here. I don't think that I told you guys before I am using one and a half bundle parade, we're doing the same thing as before: we're taking the first portion and putting it up and over and we're going to go from left to right and the clients here. In every time and we're going to go on down with our braids same braiding pattern so from left to right side to side, add a little bit of the clients hair in and braids. Hopefully you can see it a little bit better from this angle. I am going to continue this pattern all the way out to the end of her braid. If you notice, I am going to continuously grab her hair and add it in with each strand and keep in mind. One of the main things you have to do is make sure you have a firm grip, it is a lot of hair, and so you want to have a firm grip, otherwise the braids will slip, they will unravel, and you can't just pick up where you left Off you would literally have to start the braid all the way over whoo. That was a lot of bread, and I know okay so now that we finish that what we're gon na do is go in and sew the two braids together. I try and tuck my thread away, so it's not as visible. So as you can see, you can barely see the braid and I use one of the really wide needles so that it'll go all the way through the braid, and I use black thread. That kind of camouflage the thread so yeah I go through in and out a couple times just to see, secure the braid make sure the thread doesn't come loose because after all, these are big braids but yeah. It looks much more neater and nicer and the braids last a little bit better than when they're together when they're apart the hair kind of frizz in like in the middle. So now for my favorite part, we are about to lay her edges, like I said before. She has a little bit of edge control on here, so that's just fine we're using a cream of nature, gel, not black, it's more of a 10 yellow, looking girl, and so it doesn't show through on a client's skin too much so that is my favorite kill. I do use different products, it just depends on the texture of the clients, hair, and you know how it is. She has a good perm, so we're gon na use gel on her. He was a fool: they don't ages girl and I'm not gon na. Do that much around her edges just like a little light finger, wave, texture and some sideburns and that's all the braid is already a lot, so we don't want too much going on on her edges. This is simply stay and, like I said, the edge control that she previously had on her hair prior to getting her braids. It'S not causing a big problem. We'Re gon na do the same thing to this side. We'Re using the same gel we're just gon na lay it down a little bit, not too much but enough to hold it. As you can see, she has edge control on this side a little bit more so kind of in excess on this side. But it's okay, we're gon na work around it and we're gon na lay her edges, and you have just one on how to create jumbo caucus braids.
