Box Braids 101| How To Attach Hair|Slow Demo

Hey Friend! Thx for watching my video. So this tutorial is strictly about attaching braiding hair. NO, it's not about gripping the roots. Box braids are definitely not an easy process to learn. So, I feel like once you learn to attach the braid then you can practice getting a tight grip on the base of the braid. This protective will be so easy to do once you master attaching the extension.

Hey guys, this video is strictly about attaching Cantillon hair to your hair, our mannequins hair, if you're practicing or now who's ever hair, connecting the Cantillon hair to your hair. So it's not about gripping the roots or anything like that is just simply about attaching the hair. So first you wan na section off your person or mannequin, and then you want to make sure your cankle on hair is uneven. It'S stretched. It'S the way that you like it. Then you also want to go ahead and section your hair and make sure you're doing this on clean hair, and I'm doing this on my mannequin head. So because I wanted you guys to actually see because I'm saying they still can't see with my hands but and also the great thing about this video is that it's in slow motion, a lot of you have asked me: can you do a slow-mo video? So? Yes, I did you're actually going to see one that in regular time and then the next one is going to be the slowed down version version and then the last one is in real time. So go ahead and take your section and sectioning is important in this, and also you want to make sure hair is out of the way. So that's why you see those clips, so I'm gon na take some edge control for this mannequin, because you know this type of hair, it's really slippery and it doesn't. You know you can't can't grip it well, so that edge control is gon na help with that and I'm gon na take my three sections. This is how I attached this is how I attached the kanka line hair to the head from the scalp, the hair from the scalp. So I'm going to take my hair split it in two sections and make the two sections attach the two sections and make it into four. So here's a closer version and with this mannequin here's a tip. I want to make sure that I really have a good grip, so, if you're practicing on this mannequin or with someone put that edge control right at the base of the hair, the hair shaft bring it all the way down. Don'T just put it in the middle, like I did, first put it at the base and bring it on down you'll, get more control and grips that way so I'll go ahead and attach that hair those two pieces and fold them into four and I'm going to Take one the two becomes one, and then one piece goes to each section, so one on the first one on the middle one, the second and there you go. You just start braiding once you attach those like it's a normal braid like a regular like you're, not you're, just Brady from the scalp like that, and then you just start braiding and guys. If I'm not clear on this, I have other videos that I will link down below that you can watch in May and maybe those will help you out more. So here's a slow-mo video, so there's four, you take two on the end and make it one. That'S what I'm doing now and it all becomes three one. Two three. You see that so I'm going to take one piece and attach it to that piece, the next in the middle, attach it to that and the last on the end, and you see how it becomes just like regular hair from the scalp. You do that and then, however, you braid from the scalp to do it like that some a braid under heads, I may pray over hand. It doesn't matter as long as you get that first part together. You lay it on top of each other and then you go at it boom. Do what you got to do, then, I'm just going to braid my way and with this method it's easy to go under hand or over hand. It doesn't matter and it was actually trying it was hard trying not to have my hands in the way. So you guys can get a great view at what I'm doing. But now I'm just braiding down it's already attached and I'm braiding. So I think you guys for watching this is the slow motion version.
