In this step-by-step video tutorial you're going to learn how to do a classic French braid start by sectioning your hair at the top and split it into three equal sections, take the right section of hair and cross it over the middle one. Now this section stays in the middle now take some hair from your left side, combine it with the left section and cross both of those over the middle section. So now that section is the middle one. Next combine some additional hair into the right section and again cross both of them over the middle and leave that in the middle, that's pretty much. It continue this technique all the way down whenever you're doing any hairstyle in the back of your head, we recommend to just get a second mirror and continuously check your progress in the back to make sure that you're happy with a way of looking when you get To the nape of your neck, you can bring the rest of the hair to the side and finish off with a regular three strand. I have two daughters and although they are grownups now, I always had other people to do their hair when they were little. I have tried to french braid several times before, but I am all thumbs and the hair get all wrapped around my fingers. It just becomes a disaster and I get discouraged, however I would still love to learn how to French braid. The model in the video has very beautiful hair by the way. She makes it look so simple as 1 -2 - 3.
