In today's, step-by-step, quick and easy hair tutorial for beginners, I'm going to show you how to headband braid your own hair to create 3 casual, braided half-up hairstyles for short, long, or medium length hair.
In this hair tutorial video, I'm going to show you how to do a knotted headband, a knotted, faux waterfall braid headband, the popular Pull-Through braid made into a headband plait, and how to make a double rope braid, faux waterfall braids on yourself.
I love headband braids because anyone can create it, whether your hair is curly, wavy, straight or is layered. Moreover, these look beautiful on all facial shapes - square, oval, diamond, or on a round face.
Braided Headband updo styles became hugely popular when Jennifer Aniston started wearing it. Today, headband braids can be seen on teenagers and busy moms because it's an edgy and fun hairstyle that take about 5 minutes to do in the morning. Great for those running late days!

And today we're going to create three easy but unique, afem, braid hairstyles that anyone can do in five minutes here. I'M going to use some dry wax because have a lot of layers and begs to you can also use some hairspray. Instead, if you don't have a hair wax at home and I'm wearing my hair extensions here, but this is an optional step. Alright, so the first attempt bridge is a knotted faux waterfall braid and we're going to start this by making a chain of Maude's grab some hair on your side part and make some knots by pulling the hair back away from your face. Watch my arm position here. Don'T do this with your arms in front of your face and the most important part about this hairstyle is to keep the hair steady. So you don't twist them around, or this cute naughty hairstyle is gon na turn into a gigantic nut mess. Hairstyle then, this far before would be the difference, and I knew about four to five knots then added in some hair from my back to secure it with an elastic band, and I forgot to mention that when you make the knots you have to make sure to Knot it in the same direction, each time or again, it's going to turn into a knotted mess. Now you guys could always just wear it like this. It'S simple and cute and quick right or take some hair from the front twist it slightly hairspray so that it doesn't get frizzy on you in the hot summer months then pull the hair through one of the links then hairspray again because the summer and you got To think about the humidity and just repeat, let me know by the way which hairstyle you like best to say the comment. But if you don't know how to make this yet we're going to prep some hair on your apart and make a ponytail and then clip it out of the way then make another ponytail blow it release the top ponytail and split it in half and hairspray. Each section, because it's summer, so you can pull the bottom ponytail through and over it. So after pulling the bottom ponytail up we're going to clip it out of the way as well, and this is where it gets a little different instead of using the same size section as above we're going to add it only half the amount of hair into this. This is so that you don't end up with lying in the back. Basically, we're doing my version of the lace Pulu braid after adding in the hair, we're going to make a ponytail with it and we're just going to repeat under the top ponytail and split it in half. So we can pull the bottom ponytail up. Then we add in hair from the front to the hair and make a pony - and we finish this by clipping a crown away. So we can tie piece of hair to the braid, pull out the edges of the braid to make it more voluminous, and this should give you a Dutch braided look and the last one is a full waterfall double rope. Braid. I like this one, because the two twisted braid looks like a four strand: rope, braid, okay, so first we're going to make two rope braids and, if you're new, to hair styling. This is how you make a rope braid we're going to take some hair and split it in half then take both sections and twist it towards the face and to combine it. We'Re going to take the section closest to the face, a way to wrap it. Yeah everybody hey it's time to wake up already things are gon na shake up. I can't eat it, feel it on the inside nothing's gon na. Stop us nothing's gon na stop us now. Oh, we can always reach a little higher. Finally, a little fire turning up and ever I know nothing's gon na stop and once you secure, then we're going to pull our bangs through both of these braids same as the first hairstyle be the best me now, I'm moving on look back, you know and never Take it, you know not now the girls down, we never been this close, and this is how you finish this, take two rope, braids and twist them together and then tie the braid to a piece of hair in the bag to secure it, and we're done.
