What you mean you don't know panda she's dope, what you mean, what you mean, what you mean, what you mean, what is popping youtube welcome back to my channel, it's your girl, dope, ass panda and today i am doing half and half knotless box braids we're gon Na be doing purple and teal and, as you guys can see, my client's hair was colored at one point to mimic these two colors. This was actually from one of my most viral tic tocs, with almost one million views baby um. So i'm super excited about that. But i never posted the video on me actually coloring her hair and it is super super faded and grown out now. This color at one point was at her roots, um, so yeah. I think i still have the finish for that video. I might have to actually drop that if you guys want to see that video drop purple and blue hearts in the comment section below and i'll know that you guys want to see that, but i'm just jumping right into this video guys. I wanted to recreate this. Look with um the braiding hair. She actually always gets a combination of these two colors. It'S just purple. She'S like i can't even see myself with just plain black hair anymore. So i was super excited to do this, just because it's something different and we're going in with the large size, because she literally just hates small braids. This is actually my younger cousin, who everybody literally asked. If she is my daughter and i would need y'all to stop putting these old ass kids on me, y'all, i am 30. I am still young. I mean young tenderoni, y'all, think bria's. My kid y'all think she's, my kid um and they're old, i'm like damn. Do i really seem like a mama mom of like a teenager, so i always think that's funny, but no. This is um, my younger cousin and so yeah. I was super excited uh to recreate this look. So if you guys read the title, i know you guys are like wait. You use terrible braiding hair. Yes guys. I bought some of the worst hair off of amazon and this is not the first time this has happened to me, but i definitely want to like warn you guys about doing that. Um, i feel like i always buy different colored hair off of amazon. Just because, like look, how vibrant and popping it looks, and every time i'm just like ew, why did i buy this hair like this? Hair is trash, and so the purple hair is actually spectra. Easy braid and i love using their purple just because it's super vibrant. You guys know that i typically love expressions hair, but the purple that expressions has is a deeper darker purple and i really like the way that the spectra - easy braid, one pops. So i did go in with that. Braiding hair spectra is very convenient because it's pre-stretched they have a bunch of different colors. They have different ombre blends. It'S just not my favorite, because i noticed that when i braid with it, i get a lot of frizz, especially at the end where the hair feathers out and also their packs are not always consistent. If i'm buying pre-stretched hair - and i still have to stretch it because it's not you know proportioned evenly at the bottom - then i don't want it to like. I could have just bought regular braiding hair. So that's the thing that frustrates me about spectra but, like i said it is convenient um. They do have like a bunch of bomb colors, so i have been using it just for different color combos. Now this teal hair baby, i'm gon na link it in the comment section below, but i'm gon na tell you right now. If you are a beginner braider or if you are someone who has issues with gripping, this is literally not the hair, for you guys, like the okay. So this is the thing a lot of this hair off of amazon comes from china and you can find super bomb. Color combos, like you guys, have seen me, do a couple i'll make sure i link them in the top right section, but i've done like a fire. Knotless ombre color i've done like cotton, candy ones like i just have a bunch of different colors and i always get them off amazon and i literally always have the same issue. The hair is super spongy. It'S super hard to grip, and especially this teal one. I had talked about this before in a live, because i used some orange braiding hair that was similar to this, but the hair literally like shifts you see how you can see her hair sticking out. The hair literally shifts as you're braiding it, and it is so hard to tuck your clients, natural hair, because it's like as you're braiding it twists. It'S like a spongy type of texture that i can't really explain it like you would just have to really braid with it to know. So if you are not someone who has an impeccable grip game like this braid, this braiding hair is literally impossible to braid with and not only that when you go to dip it. It'S like it's water, repellent or something like i mean it dips and it seals. But it literally stays wet for so long and holds so much water. I'M just like what the what like you know, but i will say that i had to use this braiding hair because the color that she wants, i literally, could not find it in any other brand. And that's when i was like all right. Let me go to, let me go to amazon suck it up and just you know, do what i have to do, but at the end we actually decided to put beads on it. Just because this hair looked crazy like when we dipped it, it just was not sealing right and it's not even that it unravels. It just looks crazy at the end. So, yes, beware: when you're purchasing hair off of amazon, especially from these companies from china, i'm actually really happy, because recently i found like a bunch of different vibrant colors from spectra. So even though they're not my favorite, i'm definitely going to be trying those out. If you guys haven't already seen the pink ombre that i did then i'll go ahead and link that in the top right section of this video, so you guys can go ahead and click on that and then come right back. Um also expressions the pre-stretch hair that i typically use the three times um. They do have some bomb vibrant colors. Those those brands are just really hard to find when i need it. Um and i feel like i always have to drive like 30 minutes to get to a beauty supply that has it, but i'm definitely going to be trying those out because they have a bunch of bomb colors, but anyway, this color combo is just hidden different. I love it and um. I just absolutely love her hair. Like i said i recorded um the process of me actually bleaching and coloring her hair um. She had all purple hair and then decided that she wanted to add tail on one side. It was kind of like melanie martinez, inspired when the whole split die thing was going on this video. First of all, this video is actually old. It'S probably like from two months ago, and on top of that um we dyed her hair, like we did. The split die - i don't know it could have been like a year ago, but it was so funny because when i posted it, everybody was like. Oh my god, i love her color and i'm like baby. Her color is so faded. I posted a before picture um before i did a style before this one but yeah. If you guys want to see that video i'm going to see. Nik's Notions: I've found that with that hair off off Amazon that is not really big enough to be a whole pack that it's best to wash and condition it 1st bc it pulls HORRIBLY. Don't acv wash bright colors bv it will fade them a bit. But if you wash and condition and let it air dry it is SO MUCH better
