GWAN BIG UP UNNU SELF ! XOXO

Stellar welcome beautiful people. I am chef beef you're new to this channel, welcome waguan, make sure you are subscribed down below in today's video, for this style, of course, we're starting off with freshly washed hair, and i did stretch my hair overnight using a blow dryer. Now you don't have to use a heat type of stretch. You can use heatless type of stretching like just washing your hair, then braid it and let it dry stretched like that, but um. I just wanted to make sure that my hair was stretched enough so that my natural hair can blend with the different texture of braids that we are about to do so that it is tucked in real nicely now. We will be doing the elastic and crochet method for this style, and what i like to do when i'm using elastic band is to put a type of oil on top of it. It doesn't have to be any type of special oil. You just want to put that on there so that the elastic band doesn't tug on your hair and it slides, and it has slip and also i don't know, but my elastic bands have never popped when i put oil on it. I don't know if it's because my elastic bands are just super strong, you know i don't know but yeah, so that is the whole purpose of it. That is also completely optional. You don't have to do all of that, but i prefer to do that now. For my parting, i always start with two sections so that i can make clean even parts, and i do have a mirror in front of me and behind me, so that i could see what is happening in the back now i'll, be using the shine and jam Magic fingers to clean up and make sure my parting is neat. Now some people say they have experienced flaking when putting products on their hair in the roots for braiding, and i'm just gon na tell you that it depends on what you have in your hair. Prior to applying the product, so you might have leave-in conditioner that you put in your hair after you wash it or a type of oil or different type of stuff that just doesn't mix well together. So for this style i did deep condition my hair first, but i did not use any leave-in this time around because i didn't want my hair to flake while in the braid, so i didn't put much product in my hair at all. So this is the only product that i'm using, and this is a type of conditioning gel per se. But it's not really a gel if you all get the just what i'm saying, but it's real conditioning, meaning it leaves your hair real soft while using the product. So in total i have about 19 partings in my hair, so that's 19 braids that we are about to do so. Once i finish putting the elastic in my hair, i'm just going to check to make sure that you know like you. Don'T have to do. Neat partings for this style, but you also want to make sure that the partings are clean. You don't want them to be too jaggedy because they are slightly a jumbo size, so the partings will show in the back. You don't want it to look all crazy at the end of the day, even though you're doing your own hair, you want to still look kind of professional now. This hair, that i'm using is the passion, water wave 2 from oatrey, and it is in 22 inches and i'm using the color 1b, and i bought six packs of this hair for this style. Then i use the expression braids, and this is the pre-stretch braid in 42 inches. So you want to make sure that you get a pre-stretched braiding hair, because at the end of the day, blending is important now for the passion, water wave, hair for each parting or for each braid. I use about five pieces of this hair and it also depends on how thick you want it. Sometimes i use six pieces. Sometimes i use four, but mostly i use five pieces for each braid for the thickness that i was going for now. The purpose of the expression braid is to add fullness to it, because with water wave hair, when you plant it or twist it it gets, it looks a little bit thin. If you know already know how passion twists are so by putting in the expression braids, it gives it a little bit more of a fluffy fluffed up, fuller, look now! This is how the process of crocheting goes so first, i use three pieces of the water wave hair because i can't use all five on the crochet hook together and also i don't want the hair to knot at the end. Now, i'm not going to lie this hair. This water wave here is slightly annoying because the ends tend to stick together ish. So you want to be careful when even taking it out of the package, because i did have one package that was like completely tangled up, because i was mad, aggressive and pull in the package. And then i go in with the expression here and again. How much expression here you put in depends on how thick you want the hair to look. Also, you don't want to do more past, more expression here than passion, passion, water, wave hair, because you still want it to look distressed and more like a passion braid, as opposed to just a regular braid, now use the moire's beeswax for my ends, so that my Natural hair can blend perfectly with the braiding hair, so this is what i use and also again why you don't have to use a lot of other other products before doing this style is because you're using the shine and jam, and also the beeswax, which is both Conditioning type of products, so i'm just braiding regular at the roots, so you just grab three sections and then you start braiding. This is perfect. For my girls, i don't know how to feed in and you want a braiding style. You don't know how to braid properly. Like this style is perfect, because there's nothing neat about it, it's an unkept type of distress, type of situation going on. So you don't have to be perfect, so i did braid it a little bit tight from the roots going down to the end of my natural hair and then once i pass my natural hair and it's tucked in properly, i just start braiding freely. I just start just going with the flow i get a little bit messy because that, at the end of the day, that's the style of the hair. There'S nothing neat about it like you can just be erotic, while planting going straight down to the end of the hair. So i do a little bit of pulling like. You know that um passion twist type of technique where you pull the hair up a little bit. Just to get it to look a little bit more distressed, so there's nothing perfect, there's no special technique to it. It'S just moving freely with your fingers and plus i got nails on so i wasn't even trying to be perfect with it or nothing. And then i don't braid all the way to the end of the hair. Once i reach a desired length, i will be creating a knot that you guys you guys will see in a second. So, by creating the knot, i basically secure the hair so that it doesn't unravel. So all you got to do is create the knot and then leave it, as is some people like to braid all the way down, but i'm going to leave a little bit of curly hair at the end, then this is the other part i go in and I pull the braids just to give it a more distressed, look and also to make sure that the water wave hair is the main look to this braid. So just pull it to create the distress and also to fluff up the hair. And i'm just going to repeat the process again so that you guys could see how the entire thing is done now again, as i told you guys, with the knot with this hair. Also, if you want like an alternative zuri hollywood has a water wave here. That is like a super great blend with natural hair. So if you want to do that water wave here and it doesn't tangle as much - you can try that, but the ultra water wave here is so pretty, but the ends just stick together. I don't know why. But all you got to do is just take your time. Just run your finger through it each time you braid, so that the hair stays separated until you get to the end uh. Now i'm just going to take a scissors and just cut the loose ends or the part that's stringy. You know just to knead it up, obviously, and also to make sure that the ends don't get raveled or stick together again. So also when you are pulling the hair, you want to make sure that you don't pull where your hair ends, because you don't want your pulling the braid and then your hair sticks out of it because you pulled it loose. So you just want to be mindful of that as well. Uh uh now it's time to do the edges and i'm not going to do anything extra and also you don't have to do all of this. But you already know how we like to do the soup to the dupe and um. It'S not going to be like nothing crazy. I just like i like doing my edges and now you can buy edges in the store and ish like we're living in a whole new world. You feel me so i'm just gon na take this edge control and i'm just creating a little bit of swoop, or until i get like a desired look that i'm going for i'm going for some carefree type of soups. You feel me and yeah again optional. You ain't got to do all of that and that's it. Okay, y'all know this is the final look. Yes, girl and i even went outside, and i went on a date and all that good stuff, even before finishing this video, so it went outside and everything like this isn't even the fresh thing you feel me but girl this hair is everything came out better than I expected i'm not gon na lie. I was a little bit nervous when i did it, because this is not the typical method of how people usually do the passion braids, but you got to take ownership of certain hairstyles. If you know you can't do it like how someone else do it, you got to do it a way how you know how to do it or your own version and create it into your own type of thing. So obviously you see this style looks a little bit different than typical passion braids, and that is all that i desired. I was confident that i could do something. It was a little bit frustrating trying to actually get the look to look how i wanted it to. I did this hairstyle in five hours. I know it was long but um, you know you got ta have faith in it. It was a trial and error type of thing, but at the end of the day the hairstyle came through, and that's all that matters you just keep trying have faith that you can actually do a style and not go into it. Thinking that you just can't do it at the end of the day you understand, so this is all that i have for you guys today. If you haven't, subscribed already go on ahead and subscribe i'll link the hair down below again, i use six packs of the water wave passion here and i use one pack of the old tray here that has three bundles in it. But you always want to get an extra pack just in case, because you know sometimes you got to redo stuff. So keep that in mind and i'll link the products down below as well don't forget to subscribe again. Okay, you made it thus far. Follow me on instagram, snapchat and twitter at damn. That'S chef and i'll see you all in my next video go on big up in yourself, bye, guys everything heavy. When we step up with a gun, yeah everything check come stella. Let me
