Yo good morning guys it is 933. So, as you guys could tell by the title I'm getting great today and I'm actually gon na be vlogging it speaking of vlogs. I don't know if you guys have been living under a rock or what, but you have a vlog channel. So if you guys are interested, then I will leave it right up here, but I wanted to vlog style just because I feel like I don't know. I get tired, I don't like the same style of video. You feel me and I want to start using my vlog camera more frequently anyway. So but I don't know if you guys want to see like more vlog kind of videos on this channel as well - and you know comment down below - I don't know what the hell I'll be vlogging on this channel, considering I have a whole separate vlog channel, but I can make something happen. Like always in my appointment. I scheduled my appointment for about 11:25 and it's 9:00, its 9:30 5:00 right now and there's still stuff. I got ta do right now. I don't really have any product in my hair yeah right now. I don't have any product in my hair, but I still want to wet it and then I got ta blow it out and all that stuff, and then I mean there's just stuff I got ta do and the lady who's doing my hair. She lives about a good 20 30 minutes away, but yeah okay. So let me just give you my little spill. Well, let me explain why I'm actually paying someone's do the same thing that I can do first of all um it's the summer and I don't know if you guys have really noticed or not, but I touched up on it in the past, maybe not so much On YouTube, but on my other platforms like snapchat, I was very hard time managing my hair in the summer or like during hot and humid temperatures. I also feel like I've been experiencing like a lot of breakage. Well, not a lot, but I just feel like I'm having a hard time retaining length, so I kind of want to just give my real hair a break. What I want is like triangle, box braids. You feel me. I'Ve never done that on my hair, it's usually just regular old box braids, and I noticed when I do braids on my own hair. They don't last as long. That'S because I'm using all my real hair, like the roots, just froze up easier. My ends just kind of like it kind of underground in the braids. I don't know it's just like it looks. I don't think I've had a problem with my actual braids, but I just noticed that the braids don't really last all that long and because I have a diva cut, which diva cuts they're good for when you want to wear your hair curly. But terrible when you want to do any other type of hairstyle, so my hair is like at very uneven late. I hit her up, and so I basically want synthetic braiding hair added so that all my braids with the same density on the same length, I'm gon na, be adding about an inch or two to the back of my hair. I just want my braids to have a more polished and professional look this time, because I plan on keeping these in, for I want to say at least like for the whole month of July, but let me just quit talking and let's, let's go to the bathroom. Sorry, for how dim it looks in here, I need to get the regular add a light bulb, so it looks really yellow in here and I need it to be nice and white for filming purposes. I'M just gon na be in the shower, like wetting, my hair. Maybe putting some conditioner in it, but I don't really have any product, but when I get out, I'm just gon na use this on this leaving conditioner to do a full video dedicated text. Your ID, it's just. It'S gon na have to wait for a while, because you've always gon na be having braids so okay. So now, since I no longer look like a [ __ ] peasant um yeah, like I said, I'm just gon na blow on my hair and I'm gon na be using the Revlon reverse air dryer. You guys have seen this before, oh and then also I'm gon na try to trim my hair. I just picked up some more hair shoes yesterday, because when I moved, I think I threw my other ones out, but I'm gon na try to trim my ends. Just incase they feel a little rough yo, so I'm here at on the lady who's gone by here, I'm here at her place. Well, I'm in the complex I'm still in the parking lot, I'm just waiting for her to text me back and got hot. So quick! I'M just waiting for it attracts the best give me the okay to go ahead and bring all my [ __ ] up cuz. I got I got my ring light and then my camera, I should have like put that stuff in some bags, make it easy to carry, but I don't have the time for that. You, oh you, that's all you have left you just I mean. Do you think that would look alright like have a tapered look? It is so freakin hot for any of y'all who actually like summer, wear that y'all asses belong it'll, but not. I also really [ __ ]. This is what the finished look is looking like. I'M glad to ask her to see if, like the ins are supposed to like be curly like that, I mean it doesn't really bother me, but I'm just like curious, the braiding hair she used. It was like basically natural hair, texture kind of braiding here. If that makes sense - and I noticed when I was like doing my own braids with my real real hair - my real hair would do this too, like it wouldn't stay straight. So maybe that's the look. She was going for I'm about to die and I'm running off like three hours of sleep, I'm doing no water today and it feels like it's. A hundred degrees is 93 degrees, but it feels like it's a hundred. The humidity is terrible, so yeah, I'm just gon na I'm gon na grab something to eat and i'ma head back to the crib, and I'm gon na give you a like. Like a better view of the braids, you know like a 360 cuz. I forgot to do it for the yarn to us. I'M gon na make sure I get my 360 in for this video right. So, okay, I just made it home and had it get my smoothie if you watch my blogs, you already know, but I'm gon na boil some water and then dip my ends in the water because they're starting to like I don't know, kroff a little bit too Much I kind of want it. I didn't mind the curl at first, but I think is doing a little too much right now so and put some water in a pot, and then we go fry. These ends. Okay, you guys. So this is what they look like. I dip them in the water. I got to keep the camera over here to see. I can't see how I missing my room is how my dictum in water - and this is how they're looking I actually I really like these braids I did - went like skinny or skinnier braids, because mine are always like a medium thicker kind of lame. I'M sorry about look like [ __ ], I'm running on like two hours of sleep and it's hot outside. So I know my face is greasy as hell, but and also um ignore my my hairline. I know it looks crazy, but it's just because I haven't brushed it down. My hairline is curling up but yeah. If you were in like the North Carolina like Fayetteville area, then I will leave on the info for the lady who did my braids. I think she did excellent job like I said I do want to keep these in for at least a month. So we'll see how that goes. I will say this: braiding hair is not as comfortable as the yarn at all, but aside from that I mean I love it. Yeah, if you guys like have any tips for like braid maintenance. If there is any braid maintenance. Let me know I mean I was told that you didn't have to do much at all, but just in case, because I want to keep these looking crisp for as long as possible. Don’t mind me: Loved the video and the braids! If you want them to last at least a month, spritz your scalp every morning with a water based solution and some oils (eg coconut or almond) to moisturise your hair and prevent frizz. Also, you should wash your scalp at least once every two weeks- you can dry wash by using dry shampoo or using a damp cloth and some shampoo and I find that this is easier than normal washing as braids can get really heavy when wet. Make sure to protect your braids when you sleep (satin or silk bonnet/scarf). As long as your scalp is clean and your braids aren’t frizzy, then you can keep them in as long as you want to!
