How To Style Layered Micro Braids + Using Claw Clips + Y2K Inspired Styles...

The boy is mine, one two: three: let's go hi guys and welcome. Oh welcome back to my channel. If you are new to my channel, my name is michelle and today's video is going to be how to style, layout braids, and this video includes a few styles on how to style. Like braids like mine, that i like in steps, if you know you know outputs because of my hair on the screen, my hair was supposed to be guys. My hair stylist, you know messed up the baby, but it's still kind of giving layout anyway. So this is what my hair is. Looking like, like i said, my stylist did not get the layad braids style correctly, but you know i'm going to just make duty because i do not have the energy to redo this hair. But you know it's a given. They add anyway. If you look at it and then this as i'm about to show, i do not know if you can do them with regular braids, we can go ahead and try your look with it. So for this house, i'm about to show you're going to need an elastic band like this or you can use rubber bands, but i prefer an elastic band because it's way more secure. In my opinion, you're also going to need some claw clips. You can use any type and any style you have, but these are the ones i have. I also feel like you need big ones, especially if your braids are thick so that i can hold your hair in place, and you may also need bobby pins if your layers are shorter than mine. Okay, now for this first style, what you need to do is just pick out the pieces. You want to frame your face. If you don't want pieces to fit your face, you can put everything back, but i always just have pieces out of my face because i feel it just makes the style look ten times better. When you pick other pieces, you know just hold your hair back and just see if you like how it looks if you think you need to add more strands and whatnots okay, so now for the next step, what you need to do is just pick out two Sections from the sides like this, this is how the back of your head is supposed to look when you know cut out the two sections, and what you're going to do next is just push that middle part down and hold those two sides into like a ponytail. Make sure you don't get any of the ones in the center just to avoid it looking bulky and making it hard to hold and put in a ponytail. So then you get your elastic band or bands whatever you're using, and then you just want to tie it into a ponytail, make it as tight as you want. I usually make mine really tight, because i just like it's tight, i feel like just makes my face. Look more snatched okay, so this is not the end of the style, because i want to show you guys you can also carry it this way if you want. This is also a really pretty style for these kind of beads. Okay, so for this next part, what you need to do is pick out some strands from the pieces we left and you're going to wrap it around the elastic band. The purpose of this is just to hide the band. If you don't have a band, then feel free to skip this step, and just you know, put in your clock clip so then i'm putting in my clock clip to hold it in place, and you know secure this style. I make it have that 90s eddie to thousands kind of look and just arrange it how you like, so it doesn't look. You know out of place and crazy, do okay, so on to the next style, you're just going to have your hair here, it's essential then pick out different pieces. You know cream your face. Simultaneous next step. You just want to like grab all your hair into your face and make it into a ponytail. This is a very basic style. I just wanted to include something simple and easy for that. I know busy girls. I don't like you, know too much going on on their head, so i'm just going to hold it and just make it as tight as you want, or as soon as you want. I don't really make mine tie, because when i make my ponytail style, i have a headache, but that is how it's supposed to look. I really love how this style looks, and you put me so. I just feel like it's very easy, very cute. It'S very summer very pretty girl, okay, so get into the third style. I don't know this is the start that most of you are here for, but i couldn't make it the first style, because once you guys watch it you're really going to leave this video - and i couldn't have you guys, leaving this video at two minutes in but Yeah, okay, so what i'm going to do is pick out the pieces and frame our face. You know, okay, so into the next step. What you're going to do is just hold your hair back into like a blue, ponytail and you're going to leave out some few strands, like you see here very few, not too much you're going to be essential for the style later so just going to hold down The hair into your ponytail - and i would not recommend you tying it - really really tight, because you also going to still put a clip right and making it really tight can just give you like an excessive headache and you might end up taking out the style in Between the d, so just you know make it like just grip it, but don't make it too tight. I can't breathe okay, okay, so once you have your hair in your low ponytail with your strands out, what you're going to do is just use the strands to wrap around the band. You may have to do this a couple of times, because, honestly, this style is not so easy to do and it's hard to manipulate, but don't give up, and you eventually get the hang of it they're just going to twist the hair like twist it just grip. It and wrap it. You get what i mean then use your clip and just hold it in place. You have to do this a couple of times like i said this style is not easy to do. You don't expect to get it at your very first. Try! Okay, so once you have it secured like so, you know push the rest down and just arrange it. How you like you know, look at the mirror, make sure it's not looking crazy at the back. Okay, i just wanted to show you guys quickly what i meant by you many bobby pins for your style, because, especially if you want you, like your hair, everything to the back with this style, the front pieces may be too short i'll not be able to get Into your style, so what you need to do is just you know, push it back and use bobby pins and hold it in place, but this is what i usually do when i want everything to the back. Just use bobby pins - and i like this hat because just you know, gives you that clean girl look which everybody is trying to go for these days. Okay, so now for the last style, what you need to do is just pick out a side part you can make it as deep as she wants. This is how i, like my side, part looking when i'm trying to do this kind of style. So just pick our side part and not just stay, how you like okay, so now for the next step. What you're going to do is pick out a section like this from the side and you're going to repeat the exact same thing on the other side, where your bank is but don't forget to leave the bank alone and just pick out the pieces, you need to Put in your ponytail key okay now so when wrapping your hair with your head, what you're going to do is just hold your hair and wrap it as many times as your elastic can go through mangles up around about like four times so in the fourth loop. What i do i take that loop and i put it under the hair and then i pass the hair through to loop. That'S under, and i formed like a bulge of hair, and that is just like the mean mean thing of the star. If this bulge isn't really formed, the style is not going to then come up going to do is just push this bulge down as fast as possible, just so that it looks good here's what the start is. Looking like, like i said, some of these stars are not for everybody. Okay, if this is not your style, just keep moving because never work.
