How To Box Braids 360 Degrees | Entrepreneur | Spectra Hair

What'S happening guys, it's your amazing sister again, the entrepreneur today, i'm gon na do box braids for my fantastic customer, um she's a queen, so i'm not gon na show your face, but i'm gon na show you um when i'm doing the hair. So it's sunday today, that's the day before valentine's 2022, and this is what i'm gon na be using to my clients. Today, i'm gon na use this fantastic, easy bread. Oh you can hear the prince asked me in the background. What are you doing honey i'm going to be doing your mom's braids box braids, so we're going to use this fantastic hair today, it's from spectra. So it's already done. It'S been pre-pulled already and i'm going to leave the descriptions of this hair beneath this video yeah and where to get it well, you can go online or you can go to the shops yeah. So it's six packs already. You might only need just one pack of it yeah, so it helps and um you don't have to pull up okay, so i'm gon na start the process. So i'm gon na show you my client's hair. So i'm doing a freestyle recording today, um, i'm not gon na. Do that much for editing, because this is all real. So i'm not gon na show you her face. I'M gon na show you the back of the hair, beautiful afro hair and then i'm gon na show you as time goes on how i am ready box spray, so she's gon na have 360 degrees full box braids. Today, let me show you her hair fantastic. This is it see this is nice and soft and all ready to be braided. Okay, i'm gon na get cracking all right see in the next clip. So this is what this hair looks like. It'S really really soft. It'S basically like expressions, but it's kind of really really soft. So i just want to show you the look of this spectra braid. So um i'm guessing it's um, it's 25 inches 25 inches, so we're gon na use that to start braiding all right, hey guys so um! I just want i've just done the first braid here at the back, so i'm gon na do the second one. So remember i'm doing box price 360 degrees, so i'm gon na just show you how i'm installing um the braids. So this video is going to be like, i don't want it to be more than 10 minutes, so um, i'm just going to kind of like do this first row and when i get here, i will just show you how i'm progressing yeah. So my assistant is just going to zoom in see how i install the braid, so i'm grabbing the extensions. So yes, this extensions came already pre-pulled yeah, i'm gon na leave descriptions beneath this video, my client body's somewhere, so she's gon na give me the information. I'M gon na put everything in that video, so this is all you need, so you can always use your thumb and your index finger finger to feel the weight of the um, the extension, so i'm gon na install it now. So this is my own method. Some people do this kind of method like so or i don't do it because i don't like the kind of like nuts you know to the roots i like when it appears natural, like it's growing from the um for my own hair. So this is i'm installing it so, instead of taking three i'm taking two, so i divide it like that. So - and i already got this - this is my third section and i'm just gon na use my index finger and my thumb to grab her hair and the extension and then use the other thumb. For my left hand, an index finger to grab it. So i'm just going to follow the same sequence like so so it's just the same secret when you've done like two or three and then you can turn your hand on this side. Like so, and then you just you just braid, so any excess hair. You can just take out and then you can add on to the sections as you go along and this is it you're braiding. I know i'm quite fast because i've been doing this for like 15 years now, yeah 15 years. It'S amazing! Isn'T it so guys. So this is so far with what i've done. As you can see, i've done them in boxes. Well, that's why it's called box braids, so i'm just gon na carry on now, so i'm just gon na carry on and um continue all the way to the crown section and i'll probably get my assistant to just kind of like zoom in to see how i'm Installing get in there, so this is how it looks very luscious, beautiful and nice all right guys. I shall see you shortly all right, guys we're back so um basically, and this is how far we've gone, so this is um what it look like. So i've got like the crown left and um like i was saying: i've done them in boxes, so the whole idea is to do it like 360 degrees, so she can have like um as many styles as she wants. So i'm gon na now just show you guys how um i'm installing it to um the crown area, because i didn't get a chance to show you fully when i was doing the back. So i'm just gon na probably just take a minute or two just to show you. So this is how you partition. It'S always good to get like a very accurate pin, tail comb, so i'm using my metallic painting cone so that they actually just align um the angles properly. So, if you're good with mathematics. So one thing you have to remember your horizontal and your vertical lines have to be very accurate. You know, so it doesn't matter the shape of your of your client's head. It will all fall in place by the time you're done so. I'Ve just partitioned it like this, and i'm just gon na use my band to just hold this the rest of this section together. So i'm going to take a little bit of my blue magic because the scalp is a little bit dry and i am going to just measure so you can use the next set of hair below to get the actual measurement. So that's it there and i'm going to use a piece of that piece of this and use my thumb and my index finger to get the actual volume of it. So you can have a piece you can always tell if it's too small or too big by doing this, and i'm just gon na use my usual method, i use two. I don't use three and i'm just gon na divide the hair like so, and then use my thumb and index grabbing her hair to get out the extensions and use the right. The left arm, thumb and index finger grabbing the hair with extensions, and then i just follow the same sequence so when i've put it like three or four times now, when i turn my hands around like this, while my fingers run like this sorry and then i Just start to braid, and then you just spray it all the way to the end. So it looks like i'm really really quick, and this is just um. You get used to it as you go along, so so you just braid all the way. To the end. All the way to the end, so the reason why everyone is going very about box spread is because they're unique and also once you get the angles right, your um, the customer will be able to style it in in like 1000 different ways, as opposed to. If you are partitioning the hair randomly, so that's why box braids are king. So i'm just going to finish off now. So if you're wearing like, if you're running out of a piece of fake and just use the next section and add on - and you just try um to finish it beautifully like so yeah and you just drop - see how it drops drops beautifully yeah. So i'm gon na finish the rest of this crown area and when i get towards the end, i'm gon na do another one. So i can show you again trim it and do the whole thing all right guys as you can see, i'm nearly there. So i've only got the last bread, as i promised, so i'm just gon na finish up. I just want you guys to see how i'm doing it. So this is my method, so i open when i open, divide the hair into two and then use that section to grab it together with her hair, using my thumb and my index finger and i just follow the same sequence when i'm ready like um, two or Three, i just turn my hands um like that, and i just continue braiding. So basically, this is 360 degrees box braids, which means she has the center part, and she has the side parting. Whichever side she wants, you can go like a lower side with a section. She can put it all up in a bun. She can do like boxer braids with it, so the lines are accurate, so i've done both horizontal and vertical lines, so it doesn't matter which angle she style her hair. It'S just going to look so neat and fabulous. So i'm just finishing this up now, so we started like i can't remember if it's like, just after 12 or so after 12, we're going to one. So we had just a few breaks because we've been chatting as well about all the stuff and um she's been a wonderful client. No she's always always been, you know patiently. So she wanted the box braids and she's got it now. So, let's see that's finished and um this is it guys so fantastic, so i'm gon na do the three min and um put it in her. What i just wan na thank my videographer. Thank you. So much i've done a freestyle video today. So, look at this amazing box braids just look how amazing this is so this is beautiful, beautiful! You know beautiful, so i'm gon na dip, this in hot water trim it and i'm just gon na show you the um, the finishing how it's gon na look. Well already right: there does it be, lighter, not heavier as usual, all right, fantastic, okay, guys, cheese shortly. Ah, yes, guys we're finally done and i'm such a drama queen, but i'm very very pleased, so i'm just gon na show you i've put in hot water, and this is just how amazing it looks. So this is um the hair, fantastic, so 360 degrees i'll show. You the back so guys as i was saying so the way i've done it. She can have it, she decides. She can flip it to that side. That'S why this is why it's called box braids, so she can have it like that kind of side. That kind of side there so showing like the um the lines and the back is just everything is just uniform, so she can have. She can have it flow, whichever way she wants.
