Two Lil Feed In Braids | Thick Natural Hair

REUPLOAD!

Welcome back to my channel today's video, it's going to be on braids we're gon na be doing two feet in braids, like two corn rows on each side, the hair we're going to be using this bobby boss, just braids pre feathered in 54 inches in the color 1B, this hair is very similar to the sensational Roo wah. I think that's a saying that I used in my knotless braids on video. I wanted to get that hair again. If I didn't have it in a 1b. You know supplies are limited during this time. So I went ahead and got this. It looks pretty similar to me, so I'm hoping it works out just well just as well, so what you're gon na need we're going to be using mousse, maybe at the very end I haven't decided or not, but I bought it anyway. It was like four dollars. We'Re going to use the pump it up super hold spritz we're going to need some shine and jam. So this is the one with honey in it. The jam with honey in it extra hold some even edge tamer some wrapping sheets and then your tools, which are going to be too fresh for you, edges, bristle, brush rat tail combs, the one with the really skinny in and then a regular one, and then why To comb as well um, so basically what I've done is wash my hair, so I wash condition deep conditioned blow-dried I put the as I am leave-in conditioner, as well as double buttercream on my hair. Before I blow dried it, and then I used my Tresemme heat protectant on as well and blow-dried it in sections, and then this is what it looks like now that it's completely done so obviously it's not like bone bone straight, but like it's pretty straight, so I Think I'm gon na do a side part for my braids. I want to oil my scalp first. This is the barrier hair oil that I've talked about before I think of one of my crochet braids videos. I ordered this offline, so I'm going to be oiling. My scalp, with this just kind of putting it in random sections that I'm gon na uh flip my hair over and then just kind of make sure it's really massaged in this smells really nice. It has like a fresh like peppermint kind of smell, and it has a bunch a bunch of different oils in it, so I'm just gon na massage my scalp, okay. Obviously, that part is optional. You don't have to do that, especially if you're not natural. I guess, but it's important for me to own my scalp so where to begin. I think I'm gon na do a part on this side, so I'm gon na go ahead and start that I was gon na do a middle part, but then I was like, I think it's kind of cute. If I'm like started back here and then have it come in the front, so I'm gon na do a side part now. This is gon na, be my first time doing a feedin, braids umm, well kind of like the knotless frites that I did. I would consider that a feed-in braid is just not a cornrow because you have to feed in the hair gradually, so you don't have a knot at the top, so I've kind of done it before, but I haven't done anything like to the scalp so we'll see. I think I should be able to do it. Oh, but I mean this is like more like a show-and-tell, not really I'm teaching you how to do it because I've never done it before so we're just gon na hope that they come out cute and then you just kind of want to look in the mirror And kind of go hear from your nose and then draw it up and make sure that you have a straight line. That is not straight okay and then once I've done this, I'm just gon na take each side and put it just loosely and a scrunchie so that it's able to still move. But it's like not in my face now. I have a lot of hair, so we're going to be using quite a bit of jam to kind of like in between the layers to really make sure that it lays flat okay. So once you've done this now, I'm gon na try to clean up my part with this and just make sure that it's really really straight. So just take your time with this, you can already see you like house. Look it's getting with that! Jamjam is good because it's like it's not an edge control, so you get like a large jar, but I don't know like its licks it down kind of like a gel, but it doesn't make it really revert with like too many waves like gel does, because it Has a lot of water in it, so I definitely recommend that you get this you're gon na be doing braids and then just use this bristle brush you, okay. Also, I have done the back part. So what I'm going to be doing is starting, I think, I'm gon na start with this braid over here. This is gon na, be the thicker side, so I'll go ahead and show y'all this one, so I'm just going to kind of start layering the jam. So you guys can see. This is a lot of hair right, so you're going to have to put the jam in between the layers, or else it's not going to be flat. So literally not super small sections, but you know pretty. Who knows, I might end up using this whole jar of jam by the time I'm done and, of course, be sure to flick it, your hair back and get this part as well: you're, basically molding your hair for the style. Okay. Now you don't want to take care of my tooth comb and just make sure that you can actually comb through your hair, because if you can't that means it's tangled in that area and it's gon na be hard to braid. So, okay, now, once you do that bristle brush, it looks like I'm putting the jam on a lot of my hair, but you have to remember that the braid is gon na, be here around your edge. So all of this area here needs to have Jam on it too, so that it's flat okay, you can do your edges before or after it's really up to you. I think I'm gon na, I don't know I'm making mine. Now, let's see okay, I'm going to stretch out this hair. I don't have one of those like braiding things, but I do have something that I use to dry clothes. I think you can kind of do the same effect, so I'm gon na grab that and I'll be right back or lay flat, so I'm gon na use this for the hair so that I can separate a whole little bundle. So this is one bundle right here out of the pack into 12 pieces, and I don't know if I'm gon na use, I might use all of that in one. I think I'll, probably one bundle per parade will be like the perfect amount for me. Of course, if your hair is thinner - and you want a thick braid, you'll have to add more hair, so we're just gon na start right now, I'm so nervous, because I wanted to be cute. So I kind of wanted to start my braid here, which I feel like. Am i this skilled to be able to do this? I don't know, but I guess we're gon na find out today, so you'd have to kind of like part it like this and then brush that forward in order to be able to do it like this, so, okay yeah. I know I'm not that skilled, because it's like an awkward way, it's a breeze. Let me just do a regular. Well, I don't know why I'm acting like this is not my first time doing this like I need to just do. Do it basic, not basic, but you know I'm trying to do extra stuff and don't have nobody skill. So, let's just start here and then I think I need to kind of push this back this way. Okay, let's speak in and I'll definitely be taking it. Taking my time with this, it might seem like I'm moving like really slow, but I just I don't want to have to redo it. So I'm trying to you know avoid that I've been thinking about us hobbie, they can enjoy hurting me. So bad! That'S hurting me! So bad for me to find myself, but you me so! Oh, Oh certainly you, Oh Oh hobby. They cannot joke around hurting me. So bad! That'S hurting me! So bad some need to find my Oh Misha James /. 4. You watch you to me. I think another thing I've been thinking about us thinking of it thinking hobby they can enjoy hurting me so bad. It'S hurting me so bad new farmers, but you hurt me so James over and try you too, to put your okay. Also, do you see this right here? It kind of got twisted up with me like adding the hair, so I'm gon na undo this just a little bit and go back to that piece and see if I can make it look a little more seamless. So because now we want the braid to be like this facing the front and no longer on the side, if that makes sense. So this hair tangles, like a little more than the sensational one. But let's see okay, that because it's right where I had added the hair in so you can see what has kind of happened. Is you can't really you can't tell in the braid, but you can see here. This has a lot. This has like nothing and then this has a lot, so I'm gon na try to fix that and give a little more hair. So this one without making it super obvious. So it's gon na take it and put it behind the braid and then continue. Okay, Dada. I'M gon na borrow a little bit too from one of them and see I can get them to be kind of even cuz, I'm pretty much done, I'm not gon na add any more hair and you guys can see how I had to flip my hands. Now. I'M braiding over instead of under so just take your time with that. That'S how you avoid that twisting piece that I had to redo. You know it's getting kind of skinny. I kind of want it to remain a little thick, so I'm gon na unlined just a little bit and add another piece of hair cuz. I want them to be thick and when I do that, let's see that leaves me with one piece left. So, let's see. Okay, guys so I am done. I think this looks really really good, like I'm actually extremely impressed with myself, so I'm just going to read some like I'm professional and do this little thing that they do and get it under the braid. I think this looks so good. I'M gon na go ahead and do the other side give you guys like a close-up, and then it's super long. It'S like to my waist like, so I am going to go ahead and do the other side off-camera, because this is already like way long enough, and this is really more of a show-and-tell. This is really not a tutorial, because I really don't know what I'm doing. I'M just trying so yeah I'll come back when I'm done the other side. So I'm just going to lay my edges they're pretty much already done, but I'm just gon na put some of my edge control on top. So I'm just gon na make sure they're, nice and swooped, and just our life mandatory for this style like if you don't let your baby hairs for these braids, like what are you doing? It'S just not gon na be as cute honestly. Okay! Now, let me just by just like move back a little more jam in some places: okay and then I'm think I'm gon na use ine moose, but I'm gon na use this spritz. So this is just going to like help the heart in the style, and I do spray over the front like on my edges. Then I'm going to take one of these wrapping sheets, wrap that, like around my edges and then I should get it tighter, nice and straight and then I'm gon na put a scarf on just a regular silk scarf and I'm gon na. Let it be tied down. If you have a dryer, you can sit under the dryer. I have like a bonnet dry or not the traditional like hooded one, so I'm just gon na. Let my hair sit probably like 20 minutes and then I'll come back and show y'all was how I'm gon na sleep too, by the way just tie this on and then put up on it on out for the end so yeah, that's it I'm gon na dip. The end in some hot water they are as equal as I could get them this one. I think that's just slightly skinnier at the top, then this one is a little thicker at the bottom, but, like I mean they're pretty close, and I think I did a really good job considering it was my first time so yeah, there's kind of dip, thins and Hot water and then I will come back and show you guys what it looks like after I take my scarf off, probably like a little over 30 minutes since I less tied this scarf on. So I'm just gon na go ahead and take it off and let me grab some scissors so cut these strips okay and we're done so. It looks so so good, it's flat, it looks. It looks great, like I'm actually like super duper impressed with myself, so show you guys the side yeah okay, so that is the end of this video. If you guys have any questions about anything, just comment down below um, like I said, I really just kind of want to share me doing this style with you guys. I don't think I can really explain how to do a feat in. However, if you want to see one like another one, you can watch my Nautilus braid video because that's basically a bead and braid, but just not to the scope um. So you guys can see that, and that will be helpful for like the bottom portion, because that's basically what you're doing is the same thing as like a knotless braid, so um yeah. Thank you guys so much for watching. My video don't forget to subscribe on your way out, and I will see you guys in my next one bye,
