What'S up y'all, so, as you can see, somebody got a new hair, color new hair, who it is i mean who, who are you raggedy ann liu, dallas, young chucky out here in the street? That'S why i put this t-shirt on over my shirt because i just didn't want any kind of a mess. None of this red orange color to like get on my shirt and ruin it. I'Ve never dyed my hair before and i just wanted something new and i also gave myself a hair cut. I know i know i keep cutting my hair, but it's fun i'm about to wash it and style it and everything and definitely don't judge it in this state, because baby girl is pretty dry. I'M trying out the coral ray, braids, she's kind of known for him. She wasn't the first person to wear them, but since she wears them all the time, it's kind of been the koi the ray braids, i think that's her name. I hope i'm not jacking her name also because of that hair color. You know your hair is automatically drier than normal, so i'm trying to wear like a lot more protective styles to protect um, my hair, so that it doesn't break off and it stays like you know, a pretty good shape. Okay. So since i just washed my hair yesterday, i'm not gon na wash it again, i'm just gon na. Do a hair mask! That'S what i've been planning to do so, i'm using the moroccan clay and shea butter hair mask by african pride. It'S actually heat activated. This is actually a restorative hair mask, so it's designed to remove any improv impurities impurities from your hair hydrate, your hair. The shea butter actually strengthens your hair. So it's a lot of good benefits, so the directions that you're either supposed to sit under a hooded dryer for 15 minutes or you can clip on a plastic cap, in this case a plastic baggie and then put a warm towel over your head. So that's what i'm gon na do for 30 minutes and you know get this mask activate it. Okay, so my hair is freshly washed. Now i'm drying with a t-shirt, so i don't suck all the moisture. I don't know that old, but goody, tip hair feels super soft super soft, all right, let's get on these braids okay, so this part is pretty much straight. Well, not really make it straight up straight okay, so i'm just gon na put it into four sections yeah. So i'm applying the hydrate and whole styling gel to my hair, the aloe and the coconut water gives you that moisture that you need in a gel to keep your hair soft and like really moisturized and protective styles too. Not just for like twist outs and braid outs and stuff like that, it helps cut down on the frizz and like fly aways like once, you braid it and, like the end, is gon na have that curl. So i will actually need the definition for that part. So it's a really good product, a combination of defining and moisturizing and i'm using the aloe in coconut water and styling wax to get that smooth slick. Look you know prevent um around my edges. Just really have a slick defined neat protective style, i'm gon na brush. It a little bit go ahead and like leave the baby hair out yeah. So i'm just gon na make one right here and then i'm gon na actually do two at the top okay and then i'm gon na leave some hanging and roll a little bit like that. Like so i did give it some moisture. You always have to sit with some kind of oil to keep the moisture light in and i'm just using avocado oil taking some of the hair wax i'm going to leave a little piece out to make like some curly tendrils, more goddessy. Looking now once i done so go ahead and take these rollers out they air dry, so they're not gon na be perfect. So thank you. Thanks for watching my hair feels moisturized and it's like define where the curly tangles are and it smooths the braids like. It looks it looks good, it's my little coilovers and, of course, y'all. It'S not going to be perfect because it's my natural hair, it's not going to be like when you use gray hair, but i still think it came out. Like really cute, though make sure you go to africanpridehair.com to learn more about the miracle moisture line all right. Well, that's it make sure you love yourself, love, others, forgive yourself, forgive others and always try to find a way to give and be of service. I'Ll see you all later.

hoodvogue: So I first started watching you 6 or 7 years ago, I was in the sixth grade. It was also around that time that my mother moved and my dad won custody of me. I had been living with my mom all my life up until that point and she always did my hair for me. I never even washed my own hair she had always done it for me. So when she left I didn’t have anyone to help me with my hair. I would see my mom almost every weekend and she lived in a different state. So she would do my hair in cornrows most of the time because that’s what would last up until she could see me next and re do it but I started getting bullied at school for still having this kiddy like hairstyle, so my mom started getting my hair pressed every weekend instead but then it starting breaking off (been natural all my life). So finally I got sick of being unhappy with my hair and I watched one of your videos and I was like “I wanna wear my hair natural and out”. Fast forward to 2021, I just graduated high school and my natural hair journey has evolved. At this point in my life I’m locking my hair.
