Ombre Crochet Braids| Easy Protective Style For Natural Hair| Crochet Braids Tutorial

Wan na see how I achieve this, looked for less than $ 40 stay tuned, hey guys! Welcome to my channel! So today I'm gon na be doing a protective hairstyle and that's gon na be crochet braids. So normally I get my braids from a beauty supply store, but because of everything that's going on, I had to turn to the next best thing, which is Amazon, Prime and that's just because normally I like to go and really see the hair of clothes before I Order something - and I wasn't able to do that on Amazon, so I had to rely on reviews, so this hair got pretty good reviews, which is why I chose to go with it. I'M gon na put the link to this hair in my description box um. Let'S get into the hair, I'm gon na show you guys what it came in, so it can in this white packaging. Nothing special. This is the pack of hair, so it's an ombre. It goes from dark brown into a lighter brown. It came with a crochet hook and then also some great jury to put in afterwards, and I'm just gon na show you guys what it looks like outside of that plastic. So this is the hair. It is very pretty I like it. So far. It comes with 22 braids on each one of these loops and a pack of six, so I'm gon na be putting this in if you're interested, please stay tuned, make sure you like comment and subscribe, please um and let's get into it, no more wasting time. So let me show you guys a closer look of my braids. I decided to do a braid pattern. That was just straight back cornrows and I did not intertwine the braids just because I don't like the bulky look that it gives so I'm gon na show you guys how I disguise my braids with the crochet braids later on in the video alright. So let's go ahead and put some of these in so I'm almost halfway through, but I wanted to show you guys what it looks like so far just so you could have a closer look so far. I am so happy with this. The color is so good. I'M just gon na show you guys how I put these in. So you go ahead. You take your crochet hook, I'm showing you guys a loop, so you're gon na put your crochet hook open the latch. First, pull it through your cornrow latch on the hair, close the hook and pull it through after that you're just gon na open the loop you're gon na take the braid through and that's it I'm gon na. Repeat it again. Just so, you guys can see it, and this is just for anyone who is not familiar with doing crochet hair. So once again, you're gon na take that crochet hook through the cornrow latch on the hair. Close the hook, pull the hair through and then pull the hair through the loop on the braid, and that's it it's pretty simple. So I'm going to continue doing this. I'M gon na show you guys what it looks like I'm gon na speed it up a bit and I'll be back. So I'm finishing up this look, but I just wanted to give you guys a better look at how these braids look on my corn rolls. I am very satisfied with how this came out. The color is beautiful. I do feel like I needed one more pack of hair to make. This look look perfect. However, I'm unable to buy one extra pack, I would have had to purchase six more packs of hair because that's how it was sold. But overall, I'm pleased how this came out and I'm gon na turn around. So you guys can completely see this look and then we're gon na go into how I'm gon na disguise my braids into this look. Okay! So let's get into the blending, so I'm gon na show you guys how I disguise my hair into this look. So this is a completed braid and I actually sold the two braids together. Yes, I saw my hair onto the crochet braids, just using needle and thread, so I'm gon na take the hair. That'S looped onto my end of my control and I'm gon na take a needle and thread, and you want to make sure that your thread is black you're gon na start at the top and work your down into 20 of these two rates together. So here is the completed braids and I just want to get a little closer, so you guys can really see it. These braids are perfectly intertwined and they are not moving from each other and once you put the other braids around it, you really cannot tell that. Your hair has been left out, but you still get that flatter effect of your hair. So I'm gon na show you guys one more time how I got there. So you're gon na loop, the two braids together you're gon na, take a needle and thread you're gon na start at the top, with your black thread and you're gon na work. Your way down sewing the two braids together and, of course, when you first start, what I like to do is pull that needle through the two opening of the thread. Just so it's secure and it doesn't move and then, after that you can just do the loop motion of pulling the thread in and out and then you're gon na knot it at the end. Here'S what I'm gon na show you guys how I not off the end of the thread. So what I do is I bring the needle through my braid and then I create a circle with the thread around that needle and I pull the needle through and that just creates a knot. So I'm gon na show you guys one more time and sorry guys for all the fumbling. This is hard to do without looking in a mirror and looking into a camera, but here's the knot and now I'm gon na show you guys it all done so. Here'S it blended into the hair. You guys can see those braids that I have attached to the crochet braids, but they are blended well and I'm gon na. Let you guys see it from the back and, as you can see, they're all blended so now that those braids are hidden away. I'M gon na show you guys what I use to moisturize my scalp, and this is a blueberry omit t, hair growth and scalp treatment by curls. This is so refreshing. It does feel minty fresh on your scalp and I'm tellin. You try this. I'M gon na also put this in the link below so here is a full view of this finished hair. I also went in and added some of that jury that was inside of the packaging.
