Hello, everyone will come back to my channel.. It'S your girl, Genny and today's video is gon na, be a hair tutorial featuring my pretty friend Share, so I'm gon na be showing you guys how to do the ombre box braids. If you haven't subscribed to my channel. Please don't forget to hit the subscribe button and also the Bell button so that you don't miss any of my uploads and also, if you like this video, don't forget to thumbs up comment as well and share so now, let's get straight to the tutorial. So this is my expressions braiding hair. For this ombré box braids, I divided the black, that's one for the root. I divided it into four equal parts and then I'm dividing the gold - or I don't know what to call this color more like gold into five equal parts. You know just to get a the length that I'm gon na be achieving in this tutorial, so I'm just gon na pick this pick this pick this and just to make their ends really pointy and give it a very nice look at the end of the day. After which I brushed it, this is the black one that I divided into four equal halves and I plucked it. I mean I pulled it as well and so yeah, let's get started. So this is my friend's hair Shae. All I need to do right now is to cut the hair. That'S the first thing, of course, you're going to be doing. If you wan na see a detailed tutorial on how to braid this roots of the hair, then my last two videos will be the best for you right now and I'll definitely put a link to that in the description box as well. So I'm gon na cut the hair after cutting the hair, I will go in with my expressions braiding hair. I normally use basically all the time and expressions braiding hair, like I said you just basically yeah braid it, and so, if you want to see the detailed tutorial feel free to please click the video in the description box. So I'm going to start braiding and I will braid it all the way till I get to the tip not like to the end but like close to the end, so I kind of in the end, but not in the end. So you get the thinner part of the braid at the end. If that makes sense, now that we are getting to the end of the hair, you wan na grab the gold hair, you don't want it to be too big, just exactly the size. That'S gon na match up or pair up with what you're already doing so you attach this like you're doing the feed in braids. If you don't know what the feed in braids are, I'm also gon na put that in the description box. So you can check that out. So you just bring in the hair, you put it on one side and then you just pull that to braid it and then take the other half of the gold and then take it over to the braid and keep braiding. Because you don't want you don't want to just like get the hair and just attach it. If not, it's not gon na look like neat and it's not gon na, really look natural. It'S gon na. It'S definitely gon na. Look like you attached something, so you want to make this as smooth as possible. You want this transition to be as smooth as possible, so that is why you basically have to use the feed-in braid method for this. So, like I said I'll put a detailed video to feed-in braids down in my description box, for you to check it out. If you don't know what feed in braids are so feed-in, braid is basically like you, adding the hair, but like the hair, will not be showing that you added it. If that's the word yeah, so that's basically all I kept doing in this video. I did it a couple times just so I could carry everyone along and yeah, so I hope you guys enjoyed this video and thumbs up if you did

Abigail K: I think you've done an amazing job! You could make the blend less harsh by adding smaller bits of blonde earlier on. Then there will be a more gradual blend and it would maintain the thickness throughout the braid aswell. Very well done though! Xxx

Adanna Madueke: I am too excited to be sharing this method with you all. Let me know what you think and if you like it, don't forget to thumbs, comment, share and join the family by subscribing. LOVE YOU SOOO MUCH

carlye hall: You can blend two pieces of hair. A piece of black hair that is shorter then the white hair. After blending the two pieces, the hair should look kinda like ombre with black on top and white on the ends.

Danesha B: You're amazing! This is so clever!!

Tasha Scott: Your braiding technique is amazing, thumbs up to that. Next time, start your feed in a little early so it can give that clean uniform ombré look.

Audrey French: YASS I need these braids in my life sis!!

Life As A Human: Thank you so much for telling how many sections to cut each color. Thank you!!

Jenelle Steven: You did such a great job about how long did these take you to do?

Knowing Nia: I love how you are having fun with this!!

Olamide: How many packs of black and gold did you use?

Barbii Nye: every time i do my ombré braids i don’t like how u can tell where you looped the hair to add a different color and i thought it was just me but unless your adding the hair a lil at a time your gonna see the loop where u add it

Kendra Nicholson: Looks nice but your definitely making adding the hair way harder then it has to be. Add a piece in the back of the hair between the right piece and middle piece. Also makes a smoother color transition.

Rachel Babes Skits: It's cute u did a great job

Happy Harriet: That isn't the neatest because it shows where you added the hair. I recommend a pack of hair that already has the 2 colors

Cortnee Farley: I’m sorry I’m a hair stylist this is not cute it don’t blend it just starts into blonde ? The braids it’s self are truly beautiful

Shonnie Visa: neat hummm add the hair from the back of the braid small pieces at a time to blend better stylistiam

Racquel Whitous:

Jamie Mitchell: I like this because my daughter just wants a pop of color

zayda: lmao this isn't ombre ml. but it's really good sm i would do.

G u m m i: I think you start the ombré too late

Monique Wright: You do know they sell the umbre braiding hair

Dark Beauty 33 Frederick: Do u live in Florida
