Hey beauty, queens welcome back to my channel. I am going to be doing a braided ponytail in this video. This is my model. She is freshly washed conditioned. I put two leave-in conditioners, one from revlon and one from karakia. I will leave the information in the description box just in case anyone is interested. I love love love both of those. It is great for all hair textures, so i'm just blow drying her hair, i'm not going to be doing a flat iron. I only flat iron. Her edges um just to get those straight for me to lay her baby hairs down, but other than that nothing else is going to be flat. Iron. Also, i use ag firewall. That is a heat protectant i'll, also leave that in the description box. For you guys, just in case, you want to purchase that it's really really good. It'S lightweight. It does not weigh the hair down. That is also something you can use on your clients, um and all hair textures um, because sometimes with heat protectants, they do not really protect like they're they're, liquid um, they fry your hair. This one is really good. Like i said, it's lightweight, it does not weigh your hair down and it leaves a really really nice finish and you can use it on all hair textures. So i'll leave the information for that in the description as well. So i've put her hair up into a ponytail. I'M using gossipy freeze spray to keep the ponytail in place, get all the phrase away and it gives it a shine once you've gone up over it with your heat. Now you have to be really careful. You do not want to burn your client, so you must angle your blow dryer to a in a diagonal position, so it is away from the head. You cannot put it directly on there because it will burn your client, so just pay attention and be really really careful, so you're just gon na spray. You have to make sure that you keep pushing the hair in the upper direction. The way you want it to go and put the heat on it and it will stay in place. I don't know who remembers the infamous control edge control. But if you follow me, you know that this is one of my favorites and it's by a really really really good friend of mine. Seven knows i will leave the information for this in the description it comes in black and it also comes in clear. The advantages of using black is it gives you coverage. So if your client's hair is thinning on the edges, this will give them more coverage to make them look like they have a fuller hairline. In this case, she has really good a really really good hairline. I just like the black edge control better. It'S just my preference, but they both are really good and also, if you're using. Let'S say you have a client whose hair is really like. It may be like a 1b um and you need it to be a little bit darker. You can use this or not even a 1b if their hair is a little light and you go over with the black edge control. It will be black, so that's another advantage of using the black, but, like i said i just like the black, so i always use the black for the most part. It has a really really good hold um. I will leave the information for this in the description as well, for you guys um, so i'm just doing that baby hairs with that, and then we are going to move on to the next step so tie around the rest of the ponytail. While you do the actual ponytail, so when you buy any type of braiding hair, it always comes split in half, but it comes with a scrunchie or a rubber band in the middle. So you're going to take that and you're going to split it in half and you're, going to add one side to her ponytail and you're going to leave one side out. This is going to allow you to blend your clients, hair and being that we're doing a braid. It makes it a lot easier. You do not have to worry about getting the hair like super straight or, if you were doing a regular, ponytail and you're wrapping around and you're trying to get the hair to blend in with the ponytail. This is more much much easier so, like i said, one half is going to be to the front and the other half is going to be like you're, attaching it to the actual ponytail and then after that, you're going to flip that front piece back and then Everything is going to go together before you start to do your braid you're going to do your wrap around now. If you were doing a regular ponytail, your wrap around is last, but in this case the wrap around is going to be first. So you take away the section that you're going to be using to wrap around this. Here is really really long, so our braid is going to be pretty long. So i'm going to make sure everything is neat, straighten it out and i'm going to start wrapping it around. You can use more got to be spray to help you flatten the hair itself, so that it looks neat as you go along, but just make sure you're pulling. You know so that there's no flyaways or anything like that, so that when you lay it down, it is neat now for the final step, we're just going to get the hair separated into three parts so that we can do our braid. The hair is in the middle, so as you're braiding you can just camouflage the hair as you're going along um. You do your braid and then after your braid is done. You can fix like. If you have any flyaways, you can cut them off um. You can use your spray to also get the flyways down and to use your blow. Dryer is completely up to you. You may feel like braiding it on the inside it's easier to camouflage, as you can see, i'm doing an inward braid. It'S still going to look the same. It'S just that it the way her hair was. It was easier to camouflage going towards the middle, so you guys can do that, but to each his own, whichever one is suitable to your liking, so we're gon na just braid. This all the way down to the bottom, and then you guys will get to see the finished product do. I finished it off with some argan oil by organics, it's a finishing mist, um, it's very lightweight which is really really good. Also, it leaves a nice shine and it's also good for your hair. Argan oil is good for your hair um. This is the final product. This is what it looks like. I hope you guys, like it um like comment share and subscribe. Follow me on instagram. This is a cheap, cute style believe the braiding hair is about 2.99 somewhere between 299 and 4.99. Don'T quote me on it. I do not remember anytime. I go into the beauty supply store, i'm always buying a bunch of stuff. So i can't recall exactly how much this pack of hair is, but it's not expensive so get into it. Quick and easy braided ponytail.
