Hey guys, it's done, yeah, looking crazy, I'm to apologize, but I'm just out shower - and I just threw this on when you from earring shoes that is neither here nor there. This video is about my crochet braids and how I maintain them. So I just washed my hair Cole watch it. I do not try to do anything fancy with with synthetic hair. My crochet braids use synthetic hair. I don't put any of my can to nothing. No, it go nothing like use all the Chiefs up with their synthetic hair, because I feel like it's a waste because those products are made for natural hair. So right now I have on my towel towel towel. It depends on what part of the country you from how you say, but I have this microfiber hair towel on and it is from luxe beauty, essentials and um. I really love this town because I'd like I just threw it over my hair. Once I got off the shower, I did like a few squeezes and guys, like my hair, is basically almost dry and up on the edges on for a hot 10 minutes. Um, it's really soft. I know a lot of people use t-shirts to dry, their hair, that I've never tried that because t-shirts are thin and I'm like that is not drying here. It'S soaking up some moisture, but it's not really drying your hair, and so this is not um as damaging as a terry cloth. Towel it's microfiber. It'S really really soft um, like I said it's soaking up a lot of the moisture and now I'm good to go with my styling. So this is from Lux beauty, essentials I'll, leave the link below it's really affordable. It'S really a good alternative to using your old t-shirts and it's good to have a towel designated for your hair yeah, I mean so it's a little special um. This is my hair co-wash. I use the Tresemme advanced technology, touchable softness conditioner. This is the smooth and silky time with Moroccan argan oil, so I just used a little bit that I probably went to pass-throughs with a conditioner and just rinsed it through. I don't do a lot of you know. None of that. I really just kind of go through my parts and put it in and then you know put it on the ends and stuff. Now I do have a lot of tangles and matting, and so I will show you what I do with that. If I do not wash my hair, I do like to wet my scalp a lot I feel like that is, you know, really essential the kind of natural rope you need to UM moisturize, your hair and your scalp as much as possible. So I do um use a conditioner and water mix and just spray my scalp down, if I'm not washing okay. So since I did just wash I'm going to take my on black Jamaican black, castor oil - and I am going to put this on mascara and it's stuffed is massive but okay, guys I'm just let you know, I'm not a fan so yeah, I'm just gon na. Go through with that and I'm gon na do the whole thing on camera because you get the gist, so our just moisturize, my scalp with that um, because I want to take care of my hair underneath Wow, I'm protective styling and for the actual hair. I honestly this is the model model on water way thinner and I honestly think it does really well when you gosh it. I, like it, I like, when you wash it so what I'm doing now is I'm taking this lusty organics olive oil gel it's. Basically, it's basically a fake version of the Eco styling gel and it is from Dollar Tree. So this is a good and I, like I said I want to use the cheapest of the cheapest and I'm synthetic hair, I'm not using expensive products on missing Medicare guys, because eventually this hair is going to die like state. Basically, like you can't use all of these fancy products on this here and just expect miracles. So what I'm doing is taking some of the gel and I'm just going to try to tame some of the fridge and kind of try to separate or not. I need to grab my scissors okay, so I'm just going through with the gel and kind of just where things have gotten a little frizzy and crazy-looking, I'm just trying to tame. You know get it back to where it's supposed to be. You know and then in some areas where it's just like stringy and you know, there's no bringing it back just snip it. It'S not a didn't, feel guys. You know you just snip off the networks and um honestly. I kind of feel like it's time to take this down, but I really wanted to record this video for you guys and show you what I've been doing to maintain it. But I've had this for a few weeks now so um. If it wasn't for you guys, I would have to take these down um, but yeah. I just go through with this gel. Try to pull it apart. So is not like mad. I hope you can you see this. You see our like crazy, dead. Okay, see you just like finger combing, but we're in jail snip them. I mean this grand last up here, not a few, but maybe like a week more. This part, of course, the back of any weed or anything you have installed. The back is going to get really ratty, because it's rubbing up against your back and up against your clothes just going to snip that off just cut it and keep them over here, I'm going to try the jail first, give it it snip away this stubborn little Hair yeah so, like I said, I've had this for a few weeks and um. When I watch it, I honestly like it a little better, and so this is all the hair of snip. So far, I'm gon na expose my secrets, but I'm so lazy like I. Never look at the back of my head and ain't no telling what would be going on back there, but we've got time to go, get a have a beer and because I know that I just really try to make sure like it. It feels cool and it doesn't feel like you - can see any of my parts. Okay, so that's that now what I'm going to do is take some of my edge wax Murray's all right. We want to close my window, but I'm gon na take my mary's edge. Wax and I'm going to take these edges cuz, I know y'all looking at is my girl, and normally I don't do this. I did this. I went to a wedding last weekend and I did like my head is down, but normally I don't because honestly, when you're go shake it's old, you know you get new rope and you can't detect the parts anymore. So it really looks natural as it gets older. It'S all just never like my edge down. That'S helping me laugh about it. This is my hair. Now I never lie to people yeah. This is crochet. You need to hear about it. Okay, I can make you a wig or something crap, all right. So I'll lay my head down. Take my handy dandy scarf tie religions like every other black. So this is how you would revive your crochet. You trim co-wash to help kind of get the frizzies under control. You add a little cheap gel to bring the curls back to leg over your scalp really pay attention to your scott. When i first started wearing crochet, i was never washing my hair really like never paying attention to my scalp and my her didn't fall off a break off or anything, but I feel, like I missed a lot of growth opportunity. You know okay, so I will let my edges delay and that's about it so at night, when I do it pineapple, I take a hair tie up, pull it up at the top of my head and just put in a loose ponytail and then tie a scarf Around my edges, and that is it guys - that is how I maintain my crochet um, with proper maintenance for this hair. You could stretch it to about a month. I would not go past a month unless you are really unless you like, are putting a bonnet on and like treating it like gold um. Here it's gon na like get nasty, it's synthetic, so you didn't pay a lot for it anyway, girl um. So I hope that helps. I hope you do not mind my bare face. I'M sorry, but I just got shower. I just didn't feel like it was appropriate to like try to beat my face and show you all what I do but um that is about it.
