Hello, my beautiful friends its me me here today and I'm so happy to see you today, I'm gon na show you how to create this beautiful yourself called the mermaid braid. Actually, my friend actually showed it to me and I thought it's absolutely beautiful and I wanted to recreate it right away. She got the idea from a different hairstyle YouTube channel. I believe it's called confessions of Shaba, not confessions of my hairstylist, I'm gon na link it down below, so you can check it out. So I'm gon na do this on myself, which is a bit more complicated but still doable. It looks absolutely beautiful and it's perfect for the summer, so let's get started. Okay, first things. First, as always, we want to brush our hair and make sure there are no tangles. So I'm just going to start from the bottom and brush my way up and, as you guys can see, probably I'm wearing my lucky hair extensions. Today, I'm wearing the ombre chestnut set in 20 inches. So once I brushed my hair, I'm going to turn around and show you what I'll be doing in the back. The first thing I'm going to do is separate this section at the top of my head and I'm going to quickly brush it back and then I'm going to hold it together, just a medium sized section and put it into a ponytail right at the top of My head, once I put that section into a ponytail, I'm just going to go back and slowly and carefully pull out the sections just to give some volume to that section. Now. The next thing I'm going to do is just quickly create a regular three strand. Braid all the way down this section once I've raided the section I'm just going to also secure it at the bottom now on to curling, I'm just going to start grabbing medium sections from right or left it doesn't really matter. So it's just going to be a medium section and I'm gon na put it on the curler and curl it away from my face now, once the sections curl, I'm just going to give it a few seconds to pull off in my hands all right. So the next thing I'm going to do is I'm going to twist it towards that braid one side twisted this section, I'm just gon na grab certain sections in the twist and pull it with pulling dots. It fans out. This section makes it very pretty and very romantic, I'm not going to pull out the ends of the sections, I'm just going to continue twisting them, and what I'm going to do is take this section and pull it above. The base of the ponytail that we created and I'm just going to pull it through that base and then pull on that section under the base, and now I'm just going to be doing the exact same thing on the other side. So I'm going to first start with curling my hair away from my face. Then twisting the hair now pulling on this section to make this twist big and fancy, and then I'm just going to continue twisting the ends of the hair and pull it through. The opening. Above the base of the ponytail, now moving on, I'm going to continue doing the exact same thing, all the way down this braid again grabbing section from right or left curling. It then twisting it pulling on the section and then now what I'm doing differently is I'm going to be creating an opening inside of the braid starting from the top of the braid, and then I'm going to move down foot first, the top and I'm just going To open the braid and pull that section that twists through the braid and then I'm going to do the exact same thing on the other side. And then I'm just going to continue doing the exact same thing going down the braid and I'm not doing it into every single section of the braid. I just kind of sporadically put it into different sections, going all the way down the braid and, as you can see, it creates this really pretty effect of multi-dimensional sort of a twist braid. It'S like this really cool thing that you can't even tell what exactly it is alright, so I'm just getting to the bottom of the braid now, so I'm just going to create this. Last twist after I curled the hair and pull it through the braid one more time, I'm going to do the same thing on the other side, nails and then pull it through as well and we're almost finished and I'm not quite there yet now. The next thing I'm going to do is just grab a hair elastic and pull all the hair into a ponytail right at the bottom of this massive braid. Once I put this into a ponytail, I'm just going to create an opening about the base of the ponytail and grab my ends and pull them through the ponytail. And then I'm just going to grab on the sides of the hair and pull them just to hide. The elastic a little bit now I'm going to go back to this massive raid and see if I need any pulling or fixing this would be the time to do that. Also, if you're going to be walking a lot or doing any kind of dancing or exercising while I have this braid on, then I suggest you definitely spray your hair with some hairspray, and that is it. This is the finished beautiful, mermaid braid. That is it for today, my beauties, thank you so much for tuning in today.
