Want fabulous, crochet braids like these, but don't know where to start continue to watch, to see how I braid my hair for these hairstyles, but first don't forget to subscribe for more videos like this. I always start out with clean and moisturized hair. You want to make sure your here is tangle free, so I'm going to go through with some oil to seal the moisture in and then I'm going to comb my hair thoroughly. So let's see I love a middle part, but I also want to flip it over. On the side, so I carefully choose where I want the most precise lines and that's where neatness is going to count and while we're talking about neatness neat braids are usually in the type of combing you use. You want to use a comb with like a rat tail or with very fine teeth. They can get through and make a precise part if that counts to you all right. So let me just show you one braid and then we'll talk now for all mine on burgers out there. Cornrow braiding is basically best described according to me as outside, under outside under, but with a twist, it's basically using three pieces of hair and always bringing the outside piece under the rest and so on. But the difference is you have to grip the hair, not so much tightly, but you have to use those three fingers very close to the hair and hold it firmly. Not tight. Also note that the only finger are really moved. Is my index finger. So I smooth the pieces with my index finger kind of like a come-hither motion, but flips so outside under grip, firmly outside under grip. Firmly - and you see my index finger is the only one that's moving. It'S smoothing the outside portion under and in-between the rest of the hair, so I just keep doing that and for your first time it's totally fine. If yours don't come out as neat or as tight, that's what learning is for my first time wasn't great either. So don't be worried about it. Just keep practicing just do them over and over and then all of a sudden you'll know how to brace and if it helps feel free to play this video over flip. It reverse it whatever until you get it now, depending on your learning style, you can mirror what I'm doing on yourself as I go through it, you can slow the video down in your video settings or you can play the video and so you're comfortable, we'll try It you can play it over and over as many times as you like, and, of course, if you know how to bring it already, you can just skip this part or just see how I do the back of my hair all right. The next step in braiding. Your hair for crochet braids installation is a zig zag, the back until you're all finished. Now I chose the most simple method, as was the method. That'S going to give you the best results. There are different ways to do it. You can add a little bit of braiding hair to make your braids more secure for insulation. You can braid your hair straight back, which I have done in the past, so in some of my videos I'll show step by step with the braiding pattern. So you guys can rewatch those as well. I think my favorite thing about the braiding pattern is knowing that it doesn't have to be neat at all, because one the hair is going to cover all of the braids, so you won't even see it and then number two. You can't see the back of your hair anyway, so it's totally fine. So the last thing that I do when my hair is all braided down, is I tuck the end or ends away depending on how you braid your hair? So you can crochet it. You can sew it, however, you want to do it. I wrap the tail end of the hair around the latch hook and I pull it through another braid and then I just continue the process until all the ends disappeared. Congrats, you guys, you made it past the hardest and the longest part, which is the rating pattern and for the record I will say this: if this is not working out, just call your cousin, she'll braid, your hair, for you call your best friend just get it Braided and then you can install your crochet rings, so that's it guys! That'S how I braid my hair to install my crochet braids. I'Ve done so many styles. You can choose one of them. I'Ve done curly, hair straight hair, invisible part whatever so check out my playlist in my other videos. Thank you guys so much for watching

Like I don't know how to position my fingers or something so that the braid is sturdy enough for the crochet at the roots of my scalp. Every time I watch this video it seems like I'm doing the same thing you're doing BUT for some reason my cornrow braids always seem loose at the root and tighter in the middle and thick at the end!
