Hi, and welcome to my channel! I am a Beauty Addict and love to create how-to beauty tutorials for short hair and hairstyles, makeup, and lifestyle in general. I try to make my videos informative, creative and most importantly entertaining. Sometimes it may be dry humor. I warned you.

I love interacting with my viewers. Let's get to know each other.

Love, Milabu #milabu #braids #shorthairstyles

I love my lovelies and a welcome back, I hope, you're all having a good day today, I'm actually going to do a hairstyle for you. I know today's hairstyle of the day is going to be a three strand. Pull-Through braid, that's probably one of my favorite methods of a braid is a pull-through braid, because it stays in place all day long. It is stunning and it's perfect for shorter hair, especially if you have layers just because you have clear elastics. That kind of hold everything in place, so for today's video you will need some clear elastics and these are the ones I always talk about they're pretty much in every single video of mine. I always had them linked because it's probably one of my most asked questions dealing with hair style is, what's your favorite, clear elastics, and these are the ones they're elastic you. I get them on Amazon, they're, an amazing price, and then you will need maybe one or two mini bobby pins and my favourites are better grip and then to hold everything in place. Some kind of hair clip or hair crock clip. I get these also on Amazon and maybe some texture spray or a dry shampoo. I'M gon na use a little bit of texture spray. This is by the AG haircare tousled texture. My hair is pretty clean right now at the moment. So, that's why I'm going to incorporate some texture spray? If you don't have texture spray, just incorporate some dry shampoo to give your hair a little bit of grip, because we are gon na pull the hair apart a little bit. So you want your hair to stay in place and I just fall down and fall flat. That'S what usually my hair wants to do. First step create a ponytail, I'm grabbing, like the top section of my hair kind of like where my fringe is once you clear, elastic and tie it off and then before I move on to the second ponytail, I'm gon na take a little bit of hair underneath The first and wrap it around the clear elastic this step is optional, obviously, but it just kind of gives a more prettier finished, look in my opinion and then to secure that little hair, I'm gon na take a little bobby, pin and just secure alright. So I'm gon na take this first ponytail out of the way and create a second ponytail right, underneath it alright. So this is how you create to that three strand: pull-through braid, so the first ponytail you're gon na divide it into three equal sections to help myself. I'M gon na take both of these outer sections and just get it out of the way for now and then the second ponytail you're gon na split it into two. Just like that, and then you're gon na bring that middle section of the first ponytail you're gon na bring it back. I'M gon na hold these two of those and you're gon na bring those two sections in the second ponytail up. Now you have all of three sections together from the first ponytail and now with those three sections we're gon na create the third ponytail. I have to go turn the AC on because I'm sweating and I apologize if you can hear it a 30-pack, so it really helps me is because my hair is shorter, so I need extra hair clips. That'S why I mentioned it in the beginning. So what I'm gon na do is the next section. You divide it into three, so you have one-third section on this side, so we don't worry about it. So now we have that third section: that's in the middle, you take that middle section and you bring it through the split ponytail underneath and then you take those split ponytail, the two sections and you bring them together and you just take them out of the way And I'm gon na take these out, and now the ponytail is back together again. The three sections so having three clips is good. Alright, so now I'm just gon na continue and it make another ponytail when there is no more hair to add into the ponytails. I'M just gon na finish it off doing the exact same thing, tying the three sections together to create a ponytail and then the top section split into three at the bottom section. To two, and just do the exact same thing - and I just finish it off with the little ponytail at the end and I'm not sure what I want to do with it just yet, just because my hair is a very awkward length stage at the moment. It doesn't really look good with the ponytail. It doesn't look good with rolled-up. I don't know we'll figure it out alright. So now what I'm gon na do is pull apart. The pull-through braid, I'm gon na take the outer sections, pull them apart and then the middle section kind of pull it apart. If you need more texture spray, you can add it to the braid, to give it a little bit more grip as well, or you can add, hairspray or a dry shampoo, I'm gon na add a little bit more of the texture spray just to the entire braid And I'm gon na start off slowly, just to make sure my little hairs don't fall out now that the braid is pulled apart, I am gon na go in with a little bit of hairspray just to kind of tame with some of these shorter pieces, I'm using This brand Karina organics, and this is their fast drying hairspray just so nice all right, I think they're Canadian branch, I believe, North in Vancouver BC. It'S a really good hairspray all right so because my hair, like I mentioned, is at a very awkward length. I'M just gon na leave it as a ponytail, but I'm gon na take a little bit of a ribbon and just tie it off just to hide the clear elastic and just to give it a little bit of some fun to it. I don't know you can wrap some here around the clear elastic. Also, you can add some cute little hair accessory down there. You can create a cute little bun if your hair is longer just finish it off with a really nice braid or just leave it as it is like. I am a tiny little ponytail, that's pretty much non-existent, and that completes this. A three strand: pull apart or pull-through, braid knot pull apart its pull-through braid. You know what I'm actually gon na try to create a little bun out of this just show you guys what also would look like if you have shorter hair like I do all right. I'M gon na take a tiny, little teasing comb. I don't know where I cut: that's probably Sally's or Amazon, one of those and just tease the ponytail, just to give it a little bit more texture and volume, and this is what it looks like with a very messy, somewhat doable bun, with whatever hair. I have leftover. Obviously you can make it a lot prettier, but this is kind of what it looks like. I want to show you guys another option which one do you like better the ponytail or this weird-looking bun? Can we even call it a bun? So there you have it. Thank you guys so much for watching. Let me know which look was your favorite. I hope you like this video. Let me know your thoughts down below, but for now thank you for watching and I'll see you in the next one bye

Barbara H.: I just found you about 3 weeks ago. I have had very short hair for the last several years, but I’m now growing it out. My favorite hair style is the Milkmaid braid, but my fingers get all mixed up. Back in the 80’ and 90’s I had long hair and I could French braid my hair. I’m 75 next month and I sure love many of your styles. I’m glad I found you.

Hollie Belle: Ok, so. I had brain surgery two years ago and my whole head had to be shaved. I have been watching your videos since my hair was about two inches long. I FINALLY got my pony tail back!!!! Just on time for summer!!!!!! It makes my heart happy! Pull through braid was something I really wanted to learn so I could use it. I’m not sure if my hair isn’t long enough still or I just suck at it but i can never make it look right. I have holes and they are NEVER even.

nmus: Definitely ponytail for me...looks super cute with the ribbon!

It_me: I saw the thumbnail in the notification and was like "Wow!". This looks really good. Thank you!

Andrey Burykin: Your pull through braids look super!

Celine Barrera: Super cute as always!!!

Laurie: I just cut my hair your length that’s the only style that I can handle besides a pony tail . Thank you sooo much . I just ordered the mix it shampoo and conditioner . Should be getting soon . What a great idea . My hair very dry . Love your channel

gigi curls: I love how her shirt says texture and dimension! Classic Milabu..... PS can u do a vid on how to grow hair faster?

Julie Colleran: SO I did my hair this way today, but I had to watch the video over and over! I laughed every time you would say, "I'm sweatin!" I don't know why, but it just made me laugh! :)

Noelia Núñez: Good, I love your videos, thanks to them I have learned to be able to comb my short hair. I love the braids and there is one that I can not get out, could you make the famous caterpillar braid that has been so fashionable? All the videos that I see make it to another person, but I want to see one that is doing it to oneself and with short hair. I would love for you to do it and be able to practice it with your video.
