Hey guys and welcome back to my channel today, i'm going to show you how to do a pull through braid in your own hair for beginners, remember to subscribe and like this video, if you find it helpful and let's just get into it. The first step is to take a section of hair on the top of your head and then, if you need it, smooth it out with a brush or just your fingers when the hair is smooth, then take an elastic and tie the hair into a small ponytail And i would recommend stacking two elastics on top of each other, because if one of the elastic breaks then the braid will still be intact. I'M only using one elastic in this video and the top elastic broke right after i was done filming and there was no way to save the braid so definitely use two elastics then take a hair clip and clip the ponytail out of the way. Then take a new section of hair and then tie the hair into a ponytail and you want the ponytails to be around the same size, so i'm doing 4 ponytails in total. But you can do more or less then take down the other ponytail. So you now have a top ponytail and a bottom ponytail then split the top ponytail into two halves and then pull the bottom ponytail through and clip it away with a hair clip then take a new section of hair and then tie it into a ponytail. But this time include the two halves from the other. Ponytail now take down the other ponytail, so you again have a top ponytail and a bottom ponytail then take the top ponytail and then split it into two halves and then pull the bottom ponytail through and then clip it away with a hair clip again make a New ponytail, with the rest of the hair and again include the two halves from the other ponytail. Then let the top ponytail down again and now you're, going to pull in the sides of the hair to fan it out and give it that braid look and you can pull in the braid as much as you want. It depends on how you want the braid to look so for the rest of the braid you're, going to continue the same steps as before. Except you don't add new hair into the ponytails, so take the top ponytail and then split it into two halves and then pull the bottom ponytail through and then clip it away. Then take the two halves and then tie them together with a small elastic. So before taking down the top ponytail, then pull in the sides of the hair to fan out the bubble of hair. You just created now split the top ponytail into two halves and then pull the bottom ponytail through and then clip it away again. Just tie the two halves together and then pull in the sides of the hair to fan it out, and you can also fan out the hair after taking down the ponytail. That is up to you again you're, going to take down the other ponytail and then split the top ponytail into two halves and then pull the bottom ponytail through and this time i didn't clip the hair away, which is also a way you can do it. But as you can see, it's more of a struggle to do it this way, and i would recommend clipping the hair out of the way so again just tie the two halves together and then pull in the sides of the hair to fan it out. When you can't reach further down your back, then pull the braid to one side and then continue the steps all the way to the end of the hair, and i had to do that in front of a mirror. So i could see what i was doing. So i did that off camera. So when you get to the end of the hair, then you will have two separate ends like you can see here, so just take an elastic and then tie them together. So you only have one end, so that is how to do a pull through braid on yourself, and if you like this video, then please give the video a thumbs up and remember to subscribe.
