Hair details can be found here.

Hey guys welcome back to my channel, so today, I'm gon na show you guys how we achieved this gypsy look now. The reason I call it gypsy is because it is a combination of not less and goddess together, which makes gypsy and the hair we use is different, but the installing technique is the same, so yeah just gon na call. It gypsy. You know braids. So, as you can see, I'm doing the Box part. These are medium sized and I'm just gon na go ahead and tap right into this tutorial. So obviously you will start it just like you would start any other, like knotless brace, there's really not much difference in that aspect, so you start off with braiding your clients, hair and begin to feeding the braiding hair on to your clients, hair, to give a very Natural finish so I started to divide in her hand to 3 and take little pieces of braiding hair and I fit it into the hair and braid it just, as is when I'm fitting it into the hair. I'M feeding it in between my index finger and I'm just braiding the braiding hair onto my hair. It'S very easy. This is the easiest way I've found to do not list braids. Some people like to feeling do a different type of feeding technique, but this is just the easiest. We have learned how to do it. You know how to teach others and it's effective. It gives the same result and yada yada yada. So I begin to add a little bit of that curly hair into the hair. So when I place it onto the hair, I leave a little bit out because you want that kirlia to hang outside of the braids. So I just take a little clip little. You know metal clip and clip it out on their way and continue to feeding the the braiding hair onto the clients, hair and braiding. As is now, you can customize how you want your curly hair to be. This doesn't have to be by the book. Just depends on what look your clients going for. Some people just want the curly hair at the ends of their braids, someone it and all over their braids. This particular tutorial we're doing it all over the braids, which I think I like it better because it keeps that very. Like God, I see gypsy, look and just look they're effortless, it looks. It looks very beautiful you guys. So I really like that. Look but if you're not really much for curls, so maybe you just don't know how to maintain your curls. Then I recommend you just do the curly pieces at the ends of your braids, it's more low-maintenance and you know just it's not just all over the place. If you don't like that, Mesa, curly look, okay, so it's all about preference! So, just let that be your code of conduct as you braid or as you do your consultation with your clients, so I'm adding another piece of curly hair again now. The way I had my curly hair, when I want to do it all over, is that the piece that I hang up at first and when he drops that one needs to be. I wanted to end where the next curly hair starts so, and it's really just because the curly hair is quite short. Now, if I was working with longer pieces of curly hair, I would you know: do the lights of the adding of curly hair, because the hair, the curl, the curls, that I would add would already be super long, and I wouldn't need to do multiple steps of The curly hair, if you get what I'm saying so yeah, if you want to save yourself more time, just get some curly strands that are long so that way, your gon na avoid the hassle of stopping and adding curly pieces which takes time so keep that in Mind when you're doing this now in terms of pricing and structuring your price guys, I'm not even joking. This hair took me time almost ten hours, this hair, it's a time, I'm not gon na I'm, not even gon na sugarcoat. It you're doing not. Let'S braid, not nice, braids already takes time, okay and then you're not doing a goddess pretty technique on top of that, not let's breathe so you're gon na be there for quite some time. So when you're putting it your pricing structure together, take that into consideration do not lowball yourself. This is work. It takes time and yeah. You want to be compensated. You know appropriately for your time now for me, for this medium size, not less Katya, / gypsy book. I would charge like maybe 450 for a medium and I would charge 550 for a small for a large. I would charge like 350. That'S how I would price mine and of course some of you guys are gon na call me on a common goal, but I don't. I don't care if you think that's surprising, there's always a stylist for your budget. Okay! So don't come at me over my pricing. I know my time I know my food, my brand strong enough, and I know what I'm doing so. I you know I charge according to my skills, so you should do the same. Don'T argue people's prices under the comment section. A lot of you guys have a very, very bad habit of doing that. Please stop it's not nice in some calls for in nobody cares. So we are going to continue this process all over the hair and yeah just make sure you have a nice little show series with like one-hour episodes and 50 seasons going on, because you're gon na need something going cuz. I don't know about y'all, but I'm a very, very, not so chatty stylist I like to just focus on what I'm doing and get you out of here, like I'm, not really with the chitchat. So when I'm working, I always have a nice TV show going something to entertain you. My clients know this: they come, they bring their laptop, they work, you know they're on their phone, they bring their snacks. Do you I do meet so I can do your hair and you can go in the kindest way possible, but yeah. That'S just how I operate when I have super-long services with braids and stuff like that so cuz. I noticed when I talk a lot when I'm doing here I mean I'd like to talk to my clients. Don'T get me wrong, but not all throughout the service cuz. I noticed when I do that. I start to have a headache and I get really tired and it affects my work. So I just know myself and I just pace myself and I just focus on what I'm you know dare to do, and you know my clients really respect that, and I really really appreciate that and appreciate people like me: Mia hides a hard time about that um. So yeah that's pretty much the gist for this hair. Now the brand I use for the hair. I, like I said in my previous video. I will no longer be giving out free, shout outs to these companies on my videos, if you're interested to see the hair that I use for these tutorials, you can go on my only chance. I upload the video clips of the hair and additional information that you will need in tips so feel free to subscribe to that to get all the t, but yeah you guys. So I will see you guys when we get to the end or even the next portion of the next step of this look. Okay, so I'll catch you guys in a little bit. So when you get to the ends - and you want that curly-headed, you know to kind of be at the end and look very natural, just take a very tiny piece of that. Curly hair place it on the ends and then just braid down. As far as the straight hair would take you and then when you get to the very bottom or like not the very very bottom, you see want to give yourself a little bit of range with that straight hair. So you can tie it or not. So like something around is that area, so I'm gon na break down just a little bit more and then I'm gon na take just a tiny piece of that straight hair. The reason I take the straight hair is because the straight hair has more of a kinky finish and when I tie a knot, but knot is going to stay put now if I use the curly hair, because the curly hair has more of a silk finish. When I tell you not, it would kind of unravel a little bit, so I'd have to tie multiple knots and when you tell multiple knots becomes too big and obvious so take the straight hair tie one knot and you'll be good to go, and you have a Look just like this: you see how it kind of blend. You can't really see the straight hair anymore, but yeah when we go to the next step, which is dipping hair into hot water. You'Re gon na see that the ends are good. It'S gon na melts really really nicely with the curly hair making it. You know giving you a very, very similar finish, and it's not gon na be obvious that you have that straight ends in the hair and the straight ends. I'M not gon na need to cut it because, like I said, the hot water is going to merge the curly hair and the straight piece together and yeah you'll be good to go. So I'm just sectioning the hair when I, whenever I did here in hot water in general, I like to make it myself section so either I do three sections four sections or two sections here: I'm giving myself three sections for the middle section and one on the Left section and one on the right section, which gives me a total of three sections and then I just take a hot water, and I need to here into hot water, make sure that your cranks is properly draped. And you also have a towel to dab up excess hot water. That means flash on your clients or the floor. Whatever the case may be um so yeah, I'm just using my finger to kind of detangle. This hair is amazing. You guys the curly hair that I use is amazing. It makes all the difference. That'S why that's another reason why my service for this particular style would be more expensive just because the hair is more expensive and you can tell that it's quality here, um, so yeah. If you're interested in finding our hair, like I said, go to my only fan and subscribe, get all the behind-the-scenes he and information that you will need to create these hairstyles and yeah. You should be good to go so after dipping the hair into hot water. What you want to do is just kind of get you some curl, activator or mousse or whatever you like to use, go ahead and apply it on to the hair. For this particular look, I didn't trim the hair because, like I said, we're working with curly hair, there's already a lot of like intentional flyaways. So I did not. You know, trim the hair and plus the braiding hair that I use is very very like smooth. It doesn't, it literally gives me minimum flyaways, so it literally made this look so effortless and so balm so make sure you guys go on that link and check it out. You guys, I'm telling you you're gon na elevate, your goddess LOC, look just by changing up the hair that you use and just being open-minded to try and different things, because different hair on different brands give you different results. So just keep that in mind. If you you're not really liking how your hair is turning out on, clients switch up your products, which are your hair, switch off anything you can switch up, try new things until you can find the perfect formula for yourself. Now I'm just going ahead and taking some mousse and applying it onto here just to kind of give the curly hair some body you know make it more defined, because you know I use some hot towel to kind of stretch it out a bit. So you want that crow to bounce. You wanted to just be more flirty and, as you can see, that's what I'm doing right here. I don't know if you notice the movements of this hair, like the curly hair and the braiding hair combination was fire so yeah. It gives you more mobility. Look up the hairs literally moves like a wig. It'S so amazing. It moves like curly hair, it's so bomb you guys so make sure you guys check it out so yeah. This is a final look now keep in mind. You can also do this in triangle. Brace. The reason I like box parts is because it gives you a fuller look triangle parts give you more of a you know. I think it's more suitable for larger braids, because it doesn't give you as many braids so yeah. Just it also depends on what your clients want. You can also do medium-sized and small sides with triangles. It'S just gon na be a lot of work. Looking but yeah it can be done so just play around with different shapes. I'M gon na start trying different shapes on my channel cuz, I'm honestly getting bored with the triangles and the boxes. So I want to try different things which you guys be seeing in the next couple of weeks, but yeah you guys. This is a final look. I'M just taking some clips for my Instagram make sure you guys follow my Instagram. I glammed I Mary, I'm just taking some final video clips of different angles, just to use for my videos on my Instagram um, so yeah. I hope you guys enjoyed this tutorial. Tyneisha Ashleé: The fact that I have to pay for your only fans to know what kinda hair is being used—given the video title—is a lil misleading and foul to me. But thanks for the content anyway

ciera nicole: As a stylist, I've never had people argue my prices. If your work is worth the price, stand in that. The right clientele who is willing to pay AND tip will come. Trust. (depending on cultures ofc)

Ronnie Adore: You did such a great job. This is the style I've been wanting.

Monique P: Beautiful work! Thanks for sharing the prices too. It’s really helpful in having an idea what quality work is worth

Tamica Wright: Thanks for sharing your prices bc I often wonder, I know I low ball myself and people still think my prices are too much! That has come to a stop! Love and admire your videos

Traci Backhaus: I really love this style it’s really beautiful

Paris Desiree: I’m about to try this on myself I’m dreading how long it’s gonna take. But it’s soooo pretty and I don’t trust people in this area to do it exactly how I want it to look. I’ll tag you when it’s done

Brooke: Glad I can do my own hair..did this same style for $60. Lol y’all gonna get enough paying $700 for a 2 month style but I’d absolutely charge an arm & leg if I did other people’s hair..it’s not worth the time & energy honestly unless you’re making bank.

Ann Marie Thompson: Neatness!❤ love the information you've given throughout and I'd give you a thousand thumbs up for what you said about pricing...couldn't say it any better

Ericka J Stevens: Very beautiful and neatly done!!! You know your worth and have every right to state your reasons on how much you charge. ♥❤

Hibiscus Rose: I really, really want to learn to braid my own hair . Love your channel and hair styles.

Mei Mei: Although I don't l agree with the prices, I appreciate this tutorial. You didnt have to give the tutorial but now we at least have the opportunity to try this style ourselves so thank you

Kellee Mcfadden: I love love love your intro.. it never gets old..

Junaid Fatimah: Lovely I've been wanting to make Knotless braid but nobody to make it for me.

Ayanna Sowell: I really need to have your mentality when it comes to pricing my work ! I always underprice myself in order not to get judgment even though my work is worth more !

Robyn Powell: Ive done this look way before it was popular. I knew it cost , because of all the pre work you have to do. Ive been braiding for years, ive done my own hair in this style , they've just gave it a name. You continue to charge for your time & talent. Braiding can sometimes hurt your back if you have a busy client that can't be still. ive used The go-go curl & Purple pack, just put a little fabric softener in a spray bottle & add water , shake it up good & spray, the curls of the two vendors i stated above will pop right back in. otherwise use human hair, for sure you cant go wrong with human hair. This my chosen look for summer as i continue to grow my hair out. ill go from this style to tree braids all summer, maybe into the fall.

adrienne cartercraig: This young lady's braids looks so beautiful

Nichole Mcghee: Those are so beautiful wish you could do mine's. I'm try those on myself

Tabitha Rose Freeman: Love the fact that you gave a price range. Ppl can adjust it according to where they live (pay rates are different everywhere). For ex. Stylists in New York or other big cities tend to charge more than smaller ares. $450-$550 is reasonable for the Manhattan area.

Cece Love: It is beautiful and I would like to ask if the next time you do this style again if you can slow down on when you add in the curly hair because I want to do the same for myself and daughter. You did a beautiful work on her hair and I truly love it.

CHERI IYANDA: Thank you for confirming that I need to find-ah DIY video.. greatly appreciate it

Kellee Mcfadden: I know all that’s right. Know your worth and charge accordingly.. I agree. Like you said there is a stylist for everyone.

mikibeauteplus: Nice job. It looks good and I am not surprised with the price.i agree that it takes a long time to do this especially when you have to add small curly hair

Danika Torrence: I’m a stylist as well & people love to argue my prices. I don’t bend and they either pay or move around.

LuluKinyozi Beauty: Beautiful work

Book Bag: I think with pricing, you can pick whatever price you want but don’t expect to be constantly booked. afro_brujasemporium who perfected Gypsy braids, is booked through August and she charges $400 including the synthetic and human hair. And I have not seen work better then hers, which is why she is booked and busy.

Amar G: Very pretty

Nickell Francis: Merry the braids, look really good work

Trina Cox: You did that....gorgeous

Cathleen Griffin: Love the hair beautiful job❣❣❣

Nini Bossalini: I love your pricing baby I'm Definitely trying to get my skills up to be on that level.

Alisha Richardson: I ❤️ how you didn’t have her come with her hair blown out nearly straight. I hate buffalo NY stylist.

313nikki1: Love the you inspire me to keep on my journey

Mizz NitaBoo & Lyfe N' Stuff: Beautiful

sheilaw1983: OMG so cute! You make me wish I lived in Texas. I cant even find a stylist that does knotless braids here.

LeiLoni Lee: Issa pandemic baby!!! I can’t afford to get my hair done, buy hair, and pay for onlyfans. My stylist doesn’t have the human hair and I live in UTAH. There are very few people in this state who know how to do black hair. But this is a beautiful style and the best goddess braids I have seen so far!

Kellee Mcfadden: Yes that’s looks beautiful ☄️

EveShudawn: “There’s always a stylist for your budget!!!!!” Amen!!!

Olivia_33: Braiding is a lot of work especially adding in extra hair & takes a lot of time I struggle with giving out prices to my clients because I always want to be fair to them but I'm putting myself last How much would you charge creating this style doing regular box braids a little bigger then this and adding the curly hair in ?

J caz: Quick question can we just crochet the curly hair in the braids

Mary Frazier: What type of hair did you use for this style?

I Love Myself: Not gonna lie when I heard your prices I was like damnnnnn because that’s actually a lot of money but I understand how much hard work it is

Fatoumata Kaira: I Wanna Get That Small And Medium Gypsy Knotless Bohemian Box Braids

Lisa Pierce: I see that you did your hair in distressed locs..... Will you e doing a video of it because I am gonna be doing it myself and I want to see what hair you used and how you did it...this hairstyle is gorgeous I’ll definitely try to do it for my birthday

Bre The Beautician: Did you did the hair in hot water? Beautiful work btw

tazadia carter: What braid hair and curly hair did you use???

Sincerely Shay: Early i genuinely enjoy your videos

Shonnie Visa: My prices going up thanks

Fayann Tate: I love you I hate when I get my hair done and their is a lot of talking.

Brianna: Could you talk about the maintenance of the style, how do you help them not tangle as you wear them

Nene XO: Wow thank you I thought you couldn't dip in hot water

BusyBeeRika:

Tamiko Arnold: Where are you located at and how much do you charge

Channeka Jackson: How much for that style

LaCherie: Hi. What hair is being used for this please!

Michelle Clark: Is there someone that can to this for me in NYC? I only want the half back done. I do not need the braids in the front half.

Bri Chloe: Hi. What brand are the curly hairs? The link in your description doesn’t work

Asodike Tessy Chika: Nice work ma'am. Pls whats the name of that curly hair

1ChokolateKiss: What is the clear product on the back of ur hand??

Syltovia Nelson: Link in bio… say “page not available”

Strength: Love

Gloria Pippins: What curly did you use. The link didnt work for me

Daneille Carter: What is the difference between gypsy braids and Bohemian braids

Rose: Actually, your prices are cheap. For small braids in Tennessee just braiding is $700.

Shanyia Taylor: Hey I trued using the link and it didn’t work can you let us know what cutly hair please

msjuicycouture22: That is factual

C.S.LOUE: The hair link don’t work

Brandy Kenoly: Pretty Pretty Pretty

The Real Jeekai Wright Seabrook: Question. How long will the knotless last. I heard they fuzz faster. No offense for 400$ those braids better grow out my scalp. I love your work. But that's expensive.

Mehn, I can't shout!!!! 10 hours!!!!???? Wehdone o!!! You did a beautiful job!!!! Hmmm Sista, I would have to charge $500+. 10 hours... I would have resolved all the conflict between Pakistan and Israel by then.

Luvlucy C: Did she just say 450 and 515 as in dollars?

Christine Messam: That's 65450 jamaica for one hair style

IDB4Life: What kind of hair is this
