Hey Shawn often pretty hair is fun, and this week's hairstyle tutorial is a really cute hairstyle that we have done for years and years, and we don't know why we've never done her a video on it, but this is one that I actually used to wear when I was younger and it's really simple and really cute and it's called a double side twist, so we will get started ready. Okay, to begin this hairstyle, I have parted her hair down the middle ewtodd, just combed it all down nice and flat and her hair is fairly wet because I like to have what her when I'm doing these twists, so I'm just going to come back one side. My comb come back over here, so I get it smooth. Okay, once I've got that all smooth, I'm going to split it in half and I'm just going to start wrapping up to begin my first side twist, I'm going to wrap it around twice and I'm just going to add in hair just to the one side so Making it a lace braid, that's none of my fingers, I'm just going to keeping that tight. I'M just going to take this down to the back center of her head. I make sure I keep these two twists tight as you go and close to her head. Okay, so I'm about in the middle of her head. So I'm not going to take this very center section, I'm going to twist this tight and I'm just going to take a clip and I'm just going to clip that really snug get to stay that feel. Okay, then I'm going to come on the other side and you okay, so you can see I'm getting to the middle. Take a little bit more into my twist just right. There so see I'm getting close there. You go add in just a little bit more, not taking all of the hair. This is what I like to do it with, so that this hair back here is nice and smooth okay. So now what I'm going to do is take this clip out. This is a tricky part, is getting this to stay tight on my flat the same time, so I'm just going to read twist this grab the rest of that hair in the middle reason, I don't grab it when I first do is just so. I can get my positioning right, so you see I'm twisting these two sections into the middle. Sorry, if I'm pulling hairs, pumpkin, you're, okay, alright! So getting these two pieces twisted in trying to flatten out anything that's poking up, then your one do keep twisting towards each other and you're just going to wrap. So this is different than a regular twist braid in that you're wrapping in opposite directions, and I just did it right there, so we used to do it. The other way so keep wrapping your pieces towards the middle, but we wrap around each other. All the way down, I'm going to put in a little hair tie then right back up here where everything is coming together, I'm going to take a clear elastic hair on it, a big one. It'S not necessarily a super thick tight one and I'm just going to grab that twist it where I want it and I'm going to loop it around in there just to have it hold just a little bit more get my loops through there. Your position that so doesn't even look like there's one in there now, because of the way this is twisted, you can see the variation in the twist braid, but that is basically it so tuck. Those down you've got your side twist here side twist here it looks just seamless going down so we'll give her a spray like to spray off the underside and top side of the braid hope you, like our double side twist tutorial today, make sure and find us On Facebook, in them Instagram and keep watching we're gon na have some fun giveaways coming up this month. But we'll see you next week, thanks for watching

styles_n_smiles: Love the clear elastic at the base of the braid....I never did that and it would always be loose!

Noor Fatima: It's Awesome!! I made the same hairstyles after watching this video It was looking just FAB

Danelle Ehrke: I do a 'do' very similar. I find it easier to keep the twist going on either side of the head instead of clipping one side while you do the other. Once both sides are twisted to tge end, secure both ends with their own elastic. Then, your hands are free to keep twisting them towards each other in the center, securing them into one ponytail. Undo the end elastics and brush through the ponytail making hair smooth and TOPSY TAIL the ponytail! This hides that elastic and makes people wonder how your hair is secure! You can then rope-twist the ponytail with no fear of your side twists loosening.
