How To : Half Up Half Down Dutch Braid

Hi guys its yada and welcome back to my channel, as you guys can see, I already have one side done and I'll be using the other side to show you guys how I created this hairstyle to start. You want to separate your hair into three strands. This is honestly the same technique as a normal braid. The only difference is that, instead of passing the strands through the front, we will be passing them through. The back can see in front once we have crossed all of them for the first time. This is where it gets really tricky. We are going to start adding hair to the strands. So, as you guys can see here, I'm adding a piece of hair to the left side and then I'm going to cross. It then I'll be doing the same thing but to the right side. So I would just be adding and then crossing again after this. These steps are honestly, very repetitive, you're just going to do the same thing so here I'm going to add more hair to the left side and then I'm going to go and cross it and then again I'm going to grab more hair from the right side and Then I'm going to cross it, I'm sorry if some of you guys find it hard to follow what I'm doing. It was just that it was really hard for me to find an angle where you guys can really appreciate what I was you know creating here, but I apologize. I really try my best, but this is the best that I could come up with guys, I'm cringing. So about when I'm watching this and doing this voiceover, because I didn't realize how serious I really look it's just because I didn't have a mirror, so I was trying to do the best I can - and I was just very concentrated, but you guys just keep on Doing here we're are towards the end, so I do continue doing the braid all the way to the back, and you guys will see why. So the reason why I continue doing the braid it's basically, because if you stop where you're going to put your ponytail, your braid is going to be like a little bit undone. So this is what I do. I just do it mostly to the middle of the back and then I'm going to stop there and then I'm going to grab a hair tie and then just pass the hair type through my hair like that and then there I just start tying it. Basically that way, it's all tight and we're not getting our braids loose. But here I like to go in and kind of like shake it and move it. So it looks a little bit messy and yeah. Then I'm going to grab my brush and I'm going to comb the back of those pigtails just so it gives it a little bit more volume and you can actually see the little pigtails through the hair and that's. It then fix your pigtails again and we are done I'll. Give you guys a close-up right here. I really really like this look. It'S really easy and I think it's really cute.
