#naturalhair #passiontwists #type4naturalhair

What'S up guys, it's been so long since I've done a protective style with added hair. This hairstyle is so quick and easy today we're installing passion twists which, when popping up everywhere lately, we used to call these kinky twists back in the day and we installed them using marley hair. The technique is exactly the same as kinky twists, although the twists aren't stalled. Bigger today, we're using spring twists synthetic braiding hair from beyond beauty in the color t. 1B. 350. It'S hanging on a hanger because I always thoroughly wash my breathing hair before installing. This helps to get the chemicals off the hair, reducing the irritation and itchiness that it can sometimes cause I've already filmed that entire process. So if you want to see how I clean my synthetic hair, you can check the link in the description box so for each individual passion twist. This is what I do. I'M gon na grab two pieces of the braiding hair. Two pieces will go into one twist. If you want your twist thicker, add more braiding hair. If you want them thinner, add less I'm using two, and I want my hair to be shoulder length. So I'm lining up my pieces of hair so that the length is as short as possible. If you want to make your twist more on the long side, it's a simple solution instead of having the hair line up perfectly just overlap the ends to create your desired length. Okay, but I want my hair to be short, so I'm lining up the hair perfectly and now we need to create some volume in the hair. So the twists come out big and juicy, so I'm holding the hair in the middle and fluffing and finger detangling the hair to get rid of that springy texture and just a tip if you want to move faster, prepare your sections of hair in advance. So you don't have to pause on every twist to prepare this synthetic hair. This is gon na. Get you moving much faster and won't break up your momentum once the texture is completely gone and the hair is nice and frizzy it's ready to go. I just like to hang my hair on a clothes drying rack, so I can grab it fast, all right, so, let's get into it. This is literally the easiest and therefore my favorite hair installation method, you're gon na need some long crocodile clips a rat tail comb. A spray bottle filled with water and optional aloe vera juice and, of course, your styling products I'll be using my melanin hair care twist, elongating style cream and multi-use pure oil blend I'll. Have my DIY versions linked in the description box. I'Ve already finished 3/4 of my hair, but I left that last part to show you guys this technique. So let's get right into it, so we're not making our sections tiny, but we're also not making them huge. We'Re aiming for a good medium sized section about 1 inch in size. My hair is already washed and conditioned I'm spritzing it with my water and aloe vera juice mixture finger detangling a bit and I'm adding a generous amount of my hydrating style cream and really working that in so starting at the ends and working my way up, then Adding a bit of the multi-use pure oil blend to lock that moisture in now, not too much of an oil if you're gon na use it, we don't want the synthetic hair to be slipping around just enough to seal that moisture in alright, so grabbing the braiding Hair and making sure to hold it directly in the middle, we're gon na add the hair in first by locking it in place with a braid so grab your real hair near the roots and place that braiding hair directly over at the roots. It takes 3 sections to create a braid, and now we have three sections: one section of braiding hair, a second section of real hair and that third section of braiding hair, so that we're lined up all perfectly. All we have to do is braid the hair like normal to lock that synthetic hair in place so I'll braid down about five or six times to make sure the hair is locked in there really well, and now we can start to twist the hair, a quick Tip before twisting the hair grab a long crocodile clip like this one here and clip the braid in place, so the hair doesn't twist at the root and cause you pain. Trust me, this tip is a lifesaver okay, so making sure the section with your real hair is in the middle split, your real hair section in half and add your real hair to the to synthetic sections on either side. Now we have two sections that are ready to be twisted so just twist the hair down, like normal, making sure to twist the hair, nice and compactly so that it's not loose and doesn't unravel, keep twisting the hair all the way to the bottom. And when you get to the bottom, give the ends of twirl to lock the hair in place and that's it remove the clip grab, another section and repeat: spritz your one-inch section of hair with water and aloe juice. If you have it thoroughly, moisturize your hair with your styling cream of choice, seal the moisture in with an oil or your favorite oil blend and now it's time to add. There grab your pre fluffed section of synthetic hair, holding it in the middle of the section and place it directly over your real hair at the roots. Now you'll have three sections of hair to braid. One two and three, and all you have to do - is braid. The hair together making sure it's nice and secure braid down about five or six times to lock the hair in clip the braid in place so that it doesn't wrap around itself when twisting, which will cause unnecessary pain. Now making sure our real hair is the middle section, split the hair in half, adding it to the synthetic sections on either side, and now we have two perfect sections to twist so just twist the hair down making sure it's nice and neat and compact. Once you get to the ends, give your hair a twist to lock it in place, and that's it all right. So just continue. These seems like steps for the rest of your hair braiding and twisting the hair in section by section this braiding, then twisting method is so simple and easy. It'S one of the first methods I learned and how to install synthetic hair way back in the day, and it's been a lifesaver ever since it's a really simple and non fussy solution to easily get the look you want quickly and my favorite part is that it's Beginner friendly, so there's so many different methods you can do to install hair and visible methods and all that, but you know sometimes you just want to get it done fast, and this is the method for that. Okay, last twist done and that's it I'll be sure to link the hair that I use in the description box and for the record. I used a little over two bags and I completed it in one day: passion twist large kinky twists, whatever you want to call them, it's a fresh and simple protective style that I really hope you give a try. I hope you guys enjoyed this look. I hope it was helpful and I'll see you in the next one. You

Naptural85: Thanks for the heads up guys! I can see the difference now! These are more structured so they’d be considered a “spring twist” so I’ve updated the title! All three of these twists def share a similar method but the end result IS important! I’ll try to get a more laid back “loose and skinny” passion twist next time! And I think I’ll make em longer for the full effect! ☺️❤️❤️

osakasweetie19: You’re so thorough and detailed and so GENEROUS in helping us in the natural hair community to grow and help our hair THRIVE!! Can’t tell you how much I appreciate your dedication to helping us and the money you’ve saved me HONEY ‍♀️ xoxo Also, we like to part our hair on the same side so we are practically cousins
