Hey lovelies welcome back to my channel. I am the basil mercy in case you don't already know, and in this video we're gon na be making a full wig out of expression attachment yes, we're gon na make it this gorgeous gorgeous wig. I have on from your braiding hair from expression attachment from extensions all right if that sounds like something you're interested in and make sure to keep on, watching love, you, okay, lovely, so first things. First, i'm going to listing out the things i'm going to be needing all right. First thing: i'm going to be needing my expression attachment that's what i'm going to be using i'm going to be using this in the color 2, because i just feel it's more natural than using color 1, which is like black black all right. So i'm going to go in with this mesh cap, you could use any dome cap. You want to use actually, but i just prefer this one because it already has the holes in it. So it's like easier. So i'm going to go in with this crochet pin, you could go ahead and use the ventilation needle all right, i'm using a little crochet pin. Then this crochet pin, please guys, don't purchase it. It will break before you even start, like i'm going to show you how mine broke before i even started all right, so i'm going to go ahead and turn my don cap to the back, i'm turning into the back because of the lace i'm using because of The lace i'm using doesn't turn it to the back. If i was using the lace that was already tacked at the side, i won't have to turn it to the back, but because it's not tacked - and i don't want to go through the stress of tucking it, so i'm just going to sew it this way. So anything that you're doing just make sure you know there's a reason for it. So i'm going to first of all measure out my lace, i'm going to measure where i want like how many inches i want before placing it down i'm going by 4x4. You can go ahead to use any one you want to use. You can go ahead to make yours 5x6 or whatever feels comfortable for you. Even two by two is actually fine. If that's what you want to do, i advise if you're beginning you should start little, because it takes a lot of time and you just want to get used to it before you start doing 4x4 or something straighteners. So i'm just going to go ahead to pin that down all right, i'm going to pee that down first of all, and then you know just continue pinning it down, but the thing with pinning this thing guys. I even went ahead to pin it off camera because i normally have to stand in front of the camera in front of the the dawn head and in front of my mannequin to be able to do this because it takes a lot of precision. So you want to make sure you go in little by little just to make sure you take out any crease, it's going to have all right so guys, as i was doing this, i was watching this when i was editing. I was so pain because you see that extra layer of neck, like it wasn't necessary to get like for it to be outside. It'S not doing anything like. I could have just measure it in. I don't know if you get it's like a waste of nets because i'm going to end up cutting it off, make sure you actually just take note of your nets and just try and manage it as much as possible. All right so you'll see what i mean. I have to go ahead and cut that off, because i can't use this for any other thing. So when i was a teaching i was like why. Why did i just waste the entire net when i could have just dragged it in you know, so i just thought to share. I don't know it's not a necessity, but just yeah, so i'm just going to go ahead to sew my lace down all right. So i'm just going to go ahead to sew it down. You want to make sure you sew it down very securely, very securely, make sure it doesn't lose you're still going to use your attachment to actually attach it very well to the match cap, but just make sure you say it securely, it's better to be safe than Sorry so this is what it looks like immediately after sewing time doesn't go ahead to cut off that excess cap. Like you know, we do all right, so i just got here to cut that off. So this is what it looks like immediately after cutting. Then i just got: i had to wear it back now, i'm wearing it to the front you i don't know if you see why we had to turn it to the back. So what i'm doing? I'M inserting a white plain piece of paper, because this helps you see better when you're ventilating, it's not a moss, but i actually have tried without the paper and with the paper, and i discovered with the paper - is more visible. So i went ahead and cut my attachment into two. This was because of the length i wanted. Cutting the attachment into will give you a 25 inch right so make sure you have that in the back of your mind, whatever you're cutting whatever length you want. That'S how you cut your attachment, so i'm just going to go ahead to use that crochet pin i spoke about in the beginning. You can see it's just going to pull out it broke immediately like i had to go back to my normal crochet pin. This comes in the side. It comes in three sizes. He has three sizes. Yes, so i had to go in with the bigger size to start crocheting, because that other pink feed me so just better to get this one straight up. So i'm going to leave a link down below in case you want to get. I i'm just going to leave it because people keep asking me where i got the pin, so i'm just going to leave it linked down below for you to check it out. So i'm just going to start crocheting. All i have to do is take my crochet pin and just pass it through the o and then take the hair, and just you know what i'm doing on the screen. But the thing i'm doing right now, i'm skipping one hole and then i'm you know putting it in the next on a line. The first thing i do is, i actually do the middle and then i come to side side. It'S actually much more better and faster to what i've noticed. So i do the middle and then come to the side side. Also, i advise all right you don't have to. It depends on what volume you're trying to go for, but advice you actually fill in all the holes. Why? Because when i dipped it in water, i actually lost a lot of weight and also you're going to considering you're going to be considering the fact that it can shed over the years or it can even shed now that, when you're doing the hair, a lot can Shed as you're brushing it in so just better to go in a bit more fuller, because you just take a count of the hair that can pull out and when you put it inside water, it's not going to be the same volume as it was earlier on. So now, what i'm doing is i'm actually doing two things at once: i'm connecting the mesh cap to the lace net and i'm also trying to hide that net that we cut the nets that are still visible. I'M trying to hide it too. So then, i just go ahead to brush out. You want to brush it out a lot, so anything that she shared was shared all right. So this is what it's looking like. Now, i've not done the lace front. This wasn't looking like it's looking full, but it's actually not full, because when you put it in water everything will it will just become very sleek very straight and then you know you start seeing spaces. So it's better to just fill it up. So now i'm going to start ventilating all right, so this guy's, it's just normal ventilation, i'm just going in by taking i'm taking two strands of hair and giving one space two strand of hair and giving one space. I like the very scanty closure kind of vibe. If you don't want to scan the clothes, if you don't want scanty closure, you can actually go ahead to you know, feel it how you want it to be. You can fill it in three at the back and two at the front. That'S three strands of hair and two at the front, all right. So this is what is looking like after i'm done with one side, so i'm just gon na go ahead and start doing the other side and note i'm doing a middle part. So i actually gave space for the middle part. I gave two lines for the middle part, so whatever works for you works for you, whatever how you want to customize your wig is how you should do it all right. So this is what everything is looking like when i was done. I'M just brushing it very very well so that anything that i want to share the shade off and if there's any loose knots to kind of tighten it because when you're pulling it is tightening it and anyone that wants to come off would come off all right. But i didn't really have a lot of shed in percy, because i was really tight with my knots. So now i'm going to put it in hot water fabric and also i'm going to be using baking soda. I'M going to put my baking soda inside that hot water, because i read that baking soda is actually good for synthetic hair. It helps with the shine and everything it helps. It become very soft. So this is what the hair is. Looking like straight from the hot water, it looks a bit tangled. Yes, don't be scared, it's going to look a bit tangled, but you're just going to take your time with it. So the first thing i did was tower dry it and then, after tower drying it. I put it back on the mannequin head and started blow drying it while blow drying it. I tried as much as possible to still brush it as i'm going so guys. You want to take your time blow drying it. So this is what is looking like, while i'm blue drying it like you, can see now before you could not see any space before i put it in hot water, but now you can see some space because it's now very slim, it's not as thick as before. All right so keep that in mind just filling all the space. I would advise that. So this is what it looks like after blow drying. So now i'm going to go in and straighten the hair. All right, i'm going to first of all divide it and take it little by little and straighten the hair guys. The worst thing happened to me, while straightening this hair, i forgot to regulate the heat of my straightener and it just melted the hair like that's it. It melted it, and i was so sad like how did i not do that so for synthetic hair, your straightener should be only hundred and hundred and something it should not be more than eight hundred and something it should not be up to two hundred. It just melted it. I was so sad, but i just went on and kept doing that and i was thankful that it wasn't the bottom. It was like the top part that was hidden at the bottom right, so i could just go on and straighten, but if you have a client, if it's the client's hair, you just really have to go back and remove that and crochet it again, while putting it That part, you put it again in hot water, but since it was my wig i didn't have to do any of that. I think i'm using 150 degrees celsius. That'S what i'm using that's! What'S on my straightener, that's the heat i'm on and it's still very sleek. Very fine all right, so i'm gon na go ahead to cut in layers. Also, i thought all right, i'm not really good at it. Please. If you want to layer your hair, please go watch a proper layering video. I am so bad at layering. I want to give it a go, because it's my first time, but it didn't come out. It didn't come out well at all. I'M never going to lie like one side was longer than one side, even when coiling it. It was just. It was just everywhere, but i was thankful. I actually tried it because next time i think i'll be better. But if you want to layer, please watch a proper layering video, so the next thing i did was: i went in and curled the hair. If you're not cutting your hair, if you're not trying to layer it, you could just straighten and then curl at once, instead of going back into coil again so once you straighten you curl, but because i was going to cut that layer, i needed it to be Sleek, before cutting my layers, that's why i didn't do it all at once. So if you're, not layering, there's no need in you know, going back, there's no need in coming back to toilet, just straighten and curl once so. You can see i'm trying to make that hole as tight as possible because some of the hair not as equal. So that's why it's not so tight, but i try and go in and make it tight, no matter how possible it is for me and then they all ended up tight. So if you want to do that, make sure your curls are tight or if you're trying to go for loose coils, no problem, so guys, i'm going in my hot comb on the top part of my lace. I don't advise this for the synthetic hair. It wasn't. It wasn't something i would advise except you want it as flat as you see mine, but i wanted it a bit like with volume and that just did not add volume actually made it very sleek and very pressed. So i'm just going to go in and spray. What you saw me spray earlier, it's good for synthetic hair, so i just used it and then i'm just blow drying to just keep my curls in alright, hey lovely, so we're done with the wig and, as usual, i'm going to test it out for you to See it on me we're going to unravel the quilt, i'm really really nervous. To be honest, i'm really nervous to see how it turns out. So, let's see how it turns out together. So this is the week. This is what it looks like so first things. First, i'm just going to use my foundation on this neck, all right, so we're just going to go in there very gently just going there. So this is what we're having compared to what we started with make sure to take it all the way to the front. Take it all the way all the way down, because when you cut it and it's not the color, it's going to look a bit tacky. So take it all the way to the front. Don'T forget that i'm going to apply my powder, my pressed powder on it. So we have that dab dab, dab, normally i'm supposed to wear a wig cap, but i was like because the ex it was the essence because i'm taking it off right now, okay, so this is what we're having. So let me remove the rollers because it's kind of getting in the way of wearing the wig, oh god, i'm scared. Why am i scared like i'm like what? If it doesn't come out the way? I hope first review? I see a bit of curls, though okay, because of the way i wrote it is um, i'm just going to take this to the back and take this to the back. So i'm just going to take my scissors and cut off this excess lace. You made this mess and left me with the pieces. Now i wan na burn all the bridges between us so lovely. This is how the week came out. I'M impressed to say the least, like i've been here, i've been filming for like 10 minutes, just saying rubbish. I'M just praising myself but yeah, but this is how it looks like this is how the curls came out. I actually wanted something a little bit bigger than this, but i think it came out amazing. If you ask me all right, so the layers are like what i'm putting the side in front, because the layer i did came out on this side. I can you see the length of this. Then this side doesn't really have the layers. I could stand up and show you, so this is where this one is, and this is where this one is, so it doesn't really have the layers i wanted. I don't know how i cut that that one side is longer than one side like. I don't think if i should wear this out, anybody would kind of question. Is this synthetic or not? I mean this longer side is given, but the camera is not just showing it. I don't know like. Are you seeing the the both sides are given like it's? The layouts for me, like only my sebastian mother, we motherly literally like they're, both different lens, but i think, like me, saying this side right is, i don't know who's gon na do it, but if you want me to do it, i would do it. I think a shop bob will be really cute. What do you think? Let me know, let me know down below i'm so hyped, but i think a short bulb would be really really cute. If you want to see that, let me know, maybe if you have any question, i didn't answer in this video i'll, do it in that video. So let me know if you want to see a short bulb. I think it's really cute like if everything was just a short bulb or quilt away, it will be fine, it will be fire but yeah. So this is it this. Is it guys this is it? I think the coils will stay like this for a long while before it starts fading off all right. So if you fade off you just brush again you comb again, you curl again and then yeah. You just have to treat it with care, because you know it's a subjective way, so you actually have to treat it better than how you treat your human hair. Wigs all right and storage is very important store in a very cool dry place, no heats. So let me know what you think in the comment section. Let me know if you'll be trying this all right. Let me know everything you think about this week. If there's any question you have that you want to ask, let me know down below and let me know also, if you think the baking soda helps in any way possible. Like did it take the shiny way, because i actually think you actually took the shine that most synthetic wigs would have, because this is a synthetic week i mean i mean, give it some credit, it's given it's given for a synthetic week. If you ask me, i think it's absolutely given so lovely. That'S the end of this video. I really hoped you learned something. I really hoped it was enjoyable to say the list, all right so make sure to check out my other videos. If there's anything about ventilating, you did not understand on this video, i'm going to leave a video up here that already done ventilation that you could check out all right. You can check out my other videos. I have a whole playlist. You can check out. I have hair plays. I have ponyta playlist. I have braided wig braided wig playlist, all right.
